Google Gemini Can Now Help You Schedule Tasks But Only For These Users
Last Updated: Google AI tools are getting better and Gemini is close to becoming an Assistant for all your tasks and queries but for a fee. Gemini AI is getting a new useful paid feature Google is giving you more reasons to get the paid version of Gemini AI for your devices. The latest update on Gemini comes in the form of scheduled tasks that allows you to use the AI chatbot like an assistant to set up reminders for special days and events. Being a paid version means you will need the Gemini AI Pro or the new AI ultra subscription to trigger the AI assistant and ask it to perform tasks with time in focus. Google says the new feature means you can just ask Gemini AI what you need and it will make sure to give you the answer/summary. There is a scheduled actions page coming to the Gemini app with this update where you can manage all the tasks assigned to the assistant. These features are helpful not only for the users but even Google that will be looking to convert more free users into subscribers for its advanced Google Gemini AI plans. We first heard about scheduled tasks via a report earlier in April and now Google has made it official, even though it is limited to select users for now. Having said that, don't be surprised if the early tepid response forces Google to open the floodgates and allow users to try out the Assistant support. Google released the AI-powered Ask Photos feature that works within the Photos app and for multiple reasons it has decided to pause the roll out for its users. Google's product manager Jamie Aspinall claims the Ask AI feature was facing issues related to latency, quality and the overall experience of how the AI tool offered results. Basically Aspinall says, Ask Photos is not where it needs to be, which seems like a fair call to make rather than let it become an issue in the public. First Published:

The screenshot goes on to explain that a provincial program to monitor the Saskatchewan border, combined with strict enforcement and trapping, has led to the province being 'essentially rat-free' for 75 years. Rats are not even permitted as pets in Alberta, but are permitted at zoos, universities or for research purposes. Essential reading for hockey fans who eat, sleep, Canucks, repeat. However, for those unfamiliar, the rat has been an unofficial Panthers' mascot for 30 years, and, more recently, the term has been one of the many less savoury monikers applied to the Panthers' Brad Marchand, regarded by peers and critics as one of the most antagonistic and bothersome players in the NHL. He picked it up early in his career when drawing comparisons to Ken 'The Rat' Linesman, who played a similar style of hockey and famously bit the nose of Edmonton's Lee Fogolin in 1984. Opposing fans will insist the nickname also alludes to Marchand's nose, which also inspired another early sobriquet: Nose Face Killah, a play on Ghost Face Killah, a member of the rap group Wu-Tang Clan. As for how the club and its fan base embraced the rat as one of its symbols, you have to go back to the 1995 season when Panthers' forward Scott Mellanby used a slapshot to kill a rat found in the club's dressing room before a game. He went on to score two goals with the same stick that night, leading goalie John Vanbiesbrouck to later joke that his teammate had scored a 'rat trick' — a play on the hockey term for hat trick, when a player nets three goals in a game. The next time Mellanby scored on home ice, someone tossed a fake rat on the ice, and it soon became a practice that became entrenched in the team's run to the Stanley Cup Final in the spring of 1996, the year of the rat, on the Chinese zodiac. The NHL eventually instituted a rule against it, but some fans continue to do it after victories. NBA mock draft 2025: Grok AI predictions for the entire first round
NBA mock draft 2025: Grok AI predictions for the entire first round Show Caption Hide Caption Dwyane Wade shares thoughts on Dallas Mavericks getting first pick NBA Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade shares his thoughts on the NBA and whether or not the Mavericks getting the first pick in the draft is a "coincidence." Sports Seriously The humans churning out NBA mock drafts and artificial intelligence are in agreement about Cooper Flagg. The Dallas Mavericks are going to take advantage of their lottery luck by making Flagg the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA draft on June 25. Everything after that, however, remains uncertain based on the latest projections. USA TODAY Sports asked Grok AI to run a simulation of every first-round pick during the 2025 NBA draft and it returned results by "synthesizing current mock draft trends, team needs, and prospect evaluations from various sources." There were a large number of expected picks, but also a few surprises that differed from the expert mock drafts, as well as previous NBA draft first-round simulations conducted using Google Gemini AI and Meta AI. Grok AI, for instance, has a different top-five than most and projects Duke to have another top-five pick in addition to Flagg. It also did not predict Jase Richardson to be chosen in the first round, despite a good chunk of human-made mock drafts that suggest otherwise. There were six international prospects among the top 30 picks by Grok AI, as well as college stars like Auburn's Johnni Broome and Florida's Walter Clayton Jr. Here's a breakdown of the 2025 NBA draft first-round picks made by a Grok AI simulation, as well as how to watch next month when the league's teams gather in Brooklyn to make their actual selections: NBA DRAFT 2025: Winners and losers after landscape-shifting college withdrawal deadline NBA draft 2025: AI predictions for every first round pick First-rounds picks and comments were generated by a Grok AI simulation of the 2025 NBA draft based on "synthesizing current mock draft trends, team needs, and prospect evaluations from various sources."
