Jennifer Garner Shares Never-Seen-Before Shot of Ben Affleck as She Honors Him on Father's Day, SEE Here

Jennifer Garner honored her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, on the occasion of Father's Day. The actress shared an unseen picture of the Justice League star with one of his kids when they were born. The 13-Going-on-30 star shares three kids with the actor and has been co-parenting them following their divorce in 2018. Meanwhile, the adorable picture of Affleck with one of his kids comes after the reports of Garner's fiancé, John Miller, banning the actor from their upcoming wedding ceremony. Jennifer Garner's Father's Day wish for ex-husband Ben Affleck In the picture shared by Jennifer Garner, Affleck is lying on the sofa with one of his kids wrapped in a swaddle and put on his chest. Below the picture, the actress wrote, 'Happy Father's Day to 3 people's favorite landing spot.' Despite the separation, Affleck and Garner have managed their duties as co-parents well. The duo is often seen working shifts picking up and dropping off their kids at classes. Previously, in conversation with GQ, the AIR actor revealed that he is lucky to be co-parenting three kids, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, with his ex-wife. He said, 'I'm really lucky that I have a really good co-parent and partner in Jennifer Garner, the kids' mom, who's wonderful and great.' Affleck added, 'We work together well.' A source close to the couple also revealed to the media outlet in March that the Good Will Hunting star 'would definitely be open to giving things another shot with Jen if the timing is ever right.' They also added that 'Ben knows it's just not realistic at this time in their lives.' However, the feelings aren't mutual on Garner's part. The actress is happy and moving on with her current partner and fiancé, John Miller.

SF native stars in new movie at State Theatre

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) —It's always fun to see South Dakotans on the big screen, and if you head to the State Theatre in Sioux Falls this weekend, you will have the opportunity to do so. Sioux Falls native Joe Hiatt realized he had a passion for acting early on in life. 'I watched the movie Good Will Hunting, and it just, like, it was the first movie I had, like, started crying before I even realized I was crying. And I was like, watching those performances. I was like, I think I want to do that, and I think I could do that,' Cody in 'Fall is a Good Time to Die', Joe Hiatt said. Pride fests and protests make for busy Sioux Falls weekend 'When Joseph was going into high school, he was always the shy kid, always with shy kid. And he came to me and he said, Mom, I think God's calling me to be an actor,' Joe's mom, Melissa Hiatt said. He has achieved that dream, with one of his most recent projects playing at the State Theatre this week. It's called 'Fall is a Good Time to Die.' Joe plays Cody in the movie. 'I find out that the guy kind of responsible for my sister's death has just been released from prison. And so I go on this revenge quest, to get justice,' Joe said. Not only does it feature a South Dakota native, but it also features South Dakota. The film was shot in Gregory County. 'That part of the state is so beautiful and so vast and just underused and like, it's a perfect place to set a movie. And really, the land is a character in itself in the movie,' Joe said. Joe and his mom hope when people watch the movie, that it will highlight some of the best parts of South Dakota. 'We went to the premiere last night, and it's just fun to see the whole theater is sold out. And just so many people, friends, family, people that we didn't know and supporting South Dakota arts,' Melissa said. 'I think as an artist, and when I look at artists that I love and admire, like they tell stories about where they're from. And so I'm very proud to be telling the South Dakota story as a South Dakotan,' Joe said. You can catch 'Fall is a Good Time to Die' tonight at 7 at the State Theatre, and there's another showing this Saturday at 2 p.m. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. After alleged juror threats, jury finds Harvey Weinstein guilty of sexual assault

June 11 (UPI) -- Former movie mogul Harvey Weinstein is guilty of sexual assault, a New York jury determined Wednesday amid courtroom chaos when a juror allegedly threatened another. The Manhattan Supreme Court jury of seven women and five men found Weinstein, 73, guilty of sexually assaulting Miriam Haley but acquitted him of the same charge regarding Kaja Sokola, the New York Daily News reported. The jury delivered the split verdict following five days of deliberations. Still to be decided is a charge of third-degree rape of accuser Jessica Mann, who said Weinstein raped her in 2013. Haley and Sokola said Weinstein performed oral sex on them with force and without their permission in separate instances in 2006. A courtroom outburst preceded the reading of Wednesday's verdicts, when a juror reportedly yelled at another: "I'll meet you outside one day." The outburst spurred Weinstein's legal team to request a mistrial, including attorney Arthur Aidala, who accused the juror of criminal "menacing and harassment." Weinstein sat in a wheelchair during the six-week trial after recently undergoing emergency surgery on his heart in September. He also was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer in October. After the outburst inside the courtroom, Weinstein told Justice Curtis Farber the jury's actions make it impossible for him to get a fair trial. "We've heard threats. We've heard intimidation. We've heard fights," he said. "This is not right for me, the person that's on trial here." The jury foreman told Farber some jurors were "attacking" each other and said, "I can't go back in there with the other jurors." The foreman first notified the judge of problems among jurors on Monday and said the situation "isn't very good." Farber asked the jury to deliver its partial verdict and told the jurors to go home early to give them time away from each other before resuming deliberating the remaining charge on Thursday. The guilty verdict for sexual assault could put Weinstein in prison for up to 25 years, minus time already served after a 2020 conviction on the charge. Weinstein has maintained his innocence and said all sexual encounters were consensual. A jury trial in 2020 found Weinstein guilty on all charges against him, but an appellate court last year overturned the verdict due to testimony by witnesses regarding unrelated events and allegations. Weinstein co-founded Miramax and won an Oscar for producing "Shakespeare in Love." He also produced award-winning films "Pulp Fiction," "The English Patient" and "Good Will Hunting," among others.
