Jamie Laing shares 'most insane' detail about wife's pregnancy
Made In Chelsea stars Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo have opened up on their pregnancy for the first time, with Jamie stating that he felt like he was 'floating' when he found out Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo have opened up for the first time about their pregnancy since they revealed they were expecting their first baby at the beginning of June. After relaunching their podcast from NewlyWeds to NearlyParents, Jame described the 'most insane thing' about finding out he is going to be a dad. Jamie, 36, and Sophie, 30, who first started their love story on Made in Chelsea, shared the joyful news on Instagram to share the news, posting a heartfelt video of Sophie undergoing a pregnancy scan. In the video, a visibly emotional Jamie exclaims, 'Oh my god!' as he gazes at the ultrasound screen, while Sophie beams with happiness. In their first podcast episode back, titled 'WE'RE HAVING A BABY', Jamie and Sophie describe the moment they found out about the pregnancy. Sophie said: 'I thought it was way too early to be able to tell, but I thought I'd just take one in the morning. I woke up, my eyes were open, and I ran downstairs and pee on a stick, and I'm like 'no' then I look again and I'm like *huge gasp*, I burst into tears'. Sophie then details how she ran downstairs to tell Jamie, who was watching TV. Reminiscing on the moment, Jamie said: 'When you came down and you told me, I was like 'what'! When you told me, I was like purely floating. It's like the most insane moment ever. It's wild.' Sophie then went on to detail that her main symptoms included being really 'hot' and irritable, with Jamie joking that her main craving is 'hating him'. The couple, who have also recently started working together on BBC Radio 1, shared their pregnancy news with an emotional video where they see their baby on an ultrasound scan. They captioned the video with a simple red heart. As the baby pops up on the screen in the clip, Jamie excitedly says: "Are you kidding me". Jamie pans the camera around the room onto Sophie, who has the biggest smile on her face as the couple hears the baby's heartbeat. Sophie has replaced Vick Hope on the Going Home show, which runs from Monday to Thursday between 3.30 pm and 6 pm. Vick, who is expecting her first child with husband Calvin Harris, has left the station to go on maternity leave. Their journey began on the reality series Made in Chelsea, where the public was able to watch their love blossom. After dating for several years, Jamie got down on one knee at the Rosewood London hotel in December 2021, where he and Sophie shared their first ever date, and popped the question. The couple then started their first podcast NearlyWeds in 2022 which included all the ups and downs on the run up to their wedding. The podcast evolved into NewlyWeds after their wedding and now fans get to join them on their next adventure as they prepare for parenthood.

Jamie, 36, and Sophie, 30, shared the news about their pregnancy in a sweet social media post on Tuesday. The couple started their first podcast NearlyWeds when they were planning their wedding in 2022. The podcast then evolved to NewlyWeds in 2023 before they announced they were taking a break in May 2025. After leaving fans in suspense for the past few weeks, they have now announced their latest rebrand. NewlyParents is being described as their 'new chapter' and fans don't have to wait long as the podcast will be back on Monday, 9 June. To announce their new career move, the reality favourites shared an emotional video where they are seen looking back at some of the most memorable moments from their relationship. Including reflecting on their Made In Chelsea days, and reading their wedding speeches. Fans were delighted with the news as one person commented: 'I am so excited for this you have no idea, you guys are going to be the best parents. I can't wait to come along on your journey', while another said: 'Huge congratulations. This is beautiful'. The couple, who have also recently started working together on BBC Radio 1, shared their pregnancy news with an emotional video where they see their baby on an ultrasound scan.
