Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra Leaks: The Full Rundown So Far
Samsung is gearing up to redefine the high-performance tablet market with its upcoming Galaxy Tab S11 series. Early leaks and reports suggest that these flagship devices will feature advanced hardware, including MediaTek's Dimensity 9400 series chipsets, and are anticipated to debut in late 2025. If you're considering an upgrade to a premium tablet, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra could emerge as a compelling option. Watch this video on YouTube. Two Models, One Powerful Lineup The Galaxy Tab S11 series is rumored to consist of two models: the standard Galaxy Tab S11 and the high-end Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. Both models are expected to be powered by MediaTek's state-of-the-art Dimensity 9400 chipsets, with the Ultra model likely featuring the more advanced Dimensity 9400 Plus. This marks a significant shift for Samsung, which has traditionally relied on Qualcomm or its in-house Exynos processors for flagship devices. The Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset in the Ultra model is designed to deliver top-tier performance. It features a Cortex X925 core clocked at 3.73 GHz and a 12-core ARM Immortalis G925 GPU, making it well-suited for demanding tasks such as gaming, multitasking, and video editing. However, early benchmark scores—1420 for single-core and 5312 for multi-core—indicate that the Ultra may slightly trail smartphones equipped with the same chipset. This performance gap could be attributed to the tablet's focus on sustained performance and thermal efficiency, which are often prioritized over raw speed in larger devices. Hardware Designed for Power Users Samsung appears to be targeting power users with the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra's impressive hardware specifications. The tablet is expected to feature 12GB of RAM and 256GB of base storage, providing ample space for apps, media, and productivity tools. Running on Android 16, the Ultra is likely to offer a smooth and intuitive user experience, enhanced by the latest software innovations. Battery life is another standout feature of the Galaxy Tab S11 series. The standard model is rumored to include an 8160 mAh battery, while the Ultra could come equipped with a massive 11,374 mAh capacity. This substantial battery size is designed to support all-day usage, even under heavy workloads. Whether you're streaming, working, or gaming, the Ultra's battery is engineered to keep up with your demands, making sure uninterrupted productivity and entertainment. Performance and Strategic Positioning Despite its impressive hardware, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra's benchmark results have sparked some discussion. Compared to smartphones using the same Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset, the Ultra's scores are slightly lower. This discrepancy may reflect Samsung's focus on optimizing the tablet for sustained performance and thermal management, which are critical for larger devices that handle prolonged workloads. Samsung's decision to streamline its lineup by offering only the base and Ultra models is also noteworthy. By skipping a 'Plus' variant, the company appears to be simplifying its product range to target two distinct user groups: casual users and professionals. This focused approach could enhance Samsung's competitiveness in the high-performance Android tablet market, allowing the company to better address the specific needs of its audience. Launch Timeline and What to Expect The Galaxy Tab S11 series is expected to launch in late 2025, likely during the fall season. For those in the market for a new tablet, these devices are shaping up to be strong contenders. With MediaTek's latest chipsets, generous RAM and storage, and long-lasting batteries, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is poised to appeal to power users seeking a premium experience. As the release date approaches, more details are likely to emerge, including pricing and additional features. For now, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra represents a significant step forward for Samsung, combining innovative technology with a refined market strategy. This approach aims to deliver a high-performance tablet tailored to the needs of modern users, making sure it stands out in an increasingly competitive market. Is this the end of Android tablets? Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 may be your next AI buddy
A few years ago, Android tablets were mostly seen as casual devices. Good for watching movies, checking emails, or keeping kids entertained. They did the job, but rarely offered anything beyond the basics. Over time, many people stopped expecting more from them. But with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11, that may finally be changing. This isn't just about a sharper display or faster chip. Samsung appears more serious about using AI this time. From voice typing support to document summarising and image tools, the Tab S11 seems designed to be useful for work, creative tasks, or staying organised instead of just sitting on your desk as a second screen. According to a Geekbench listing, the Galaxy Tab S11 is expected to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chip, 12GB of RAM, and Android 16. It's an early look, but it shows that Samsung is building the tablet to support the new AI features they've been talking about. Samsung has already shown what its AI features can do on a phone. Now, on a bigger screen like a tablet, it could be even more useful. Features like voice typing or automatic summaries could help you save time with everyday stuff. If you are someone who takes notes, needs to go through long articles or to write points discussed in meetings, then these tools will surely help you. The Samsung Tab S11 might bring some of the helpful features already seen on Samsung phones like live translation during chats or calls, turning long notes into quick summaries, helping with transcripts, fixing text through voice, and cleaning up images. If these come to the tablet, it could be more useful for daily tasks. And with a bigger screen, editing photos, removing backgrounds, or using it alongside your Galaxy phone or laptop could feel easier and more useful. Let's be honest. Android tablets haven't been exciting in a long time. Most of them feel like stretched out phones and don't get many updates. Samsung has stayed in the tablet game, but even their earlier models haven't matched the iPad on productivity. That's why the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 is interesting. It's not just about faster speed. Samsung is focusing more on useful tools this time. Tools that might actually help you use the tablet for more than just watching videos. If you're a student, or an employee who works from home, or just want something that helps you stay on top of things, this could be a step in the right direction. The big question here is: will people actually use these AI tools, or will they end up like so many other features we forget after the first week? Its real value will be clear only through day-to-day use. But what's clear is that Samsung isn't just releasing another tablet with a spec bump. It's trying to shift how Android tablets are seen. For years, Android tablets have been treated like large phones or backup screens. The Tab S11 seems to ask: what if they weren't? What if they could actually help you get something done, without feeling like a compromise? It might not be a game changer for everyone, but it's one of the few Android tablets in recent memory that feels like it has a reason to exist beyond streaming and browsing. And that alone makes it worth watching.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 appears on Geekbench: MediaTek chip and 12GB RAM variant expected
Tech giant Samsung appears to be gearing up for the launch of its next-generation premium Android tablets, with the Galaxy Tab S11 recently surfacing on the benchmarking platform Geekbench. The listing offers a glimpse into what could be expected from the upcoming device, including its processor, memory configuration, and performance figures. First spotted by tipster Abhishek Yadav, the listing identifies the device with the model number SM-X736B, hinting that it will likely be powered by MediaTek's latest Dimensity 9400+ chipset. This could mark a continuation of Samsung's shift towards MediaTek processors in its flagship tablet range, a transition that began with last year's Galaxy Tab S10 series. The Dimensity 9400+ SoC listed for the Galaxy Tab S11 comes with a top clock speed of 3.73GHz, a notable increase from the 3.4GHz peak frequency on the previous Dimensity 9300+ used in the Galaxy Tab S10+. The benchmark results also indicate a 12GB RAM variant, aligning with Samsung's push towards productivity-focused tablets with desktop-like performance. Despite the newer hardware, the benchmark scores have raised a few eyebrows. The Galaxy Tab S11 achieved 1,420 in the single-core test and 5,312 in the multi-core test on Geekbench — numbers that fall short when compared to last year's Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, which recorded scores of 2,115 and 7,058 respectively. However, it's worth noting that the results could be from a prototype unit, meaning performance could improve closer to launch. Samsung's Galaxy Tab S Ultra line has largely remained unchanged in terms of design over the past few iterations, with the main focus in recent times being the inclusion of Galaxy AI features. Last year's Tab S10 Ultra, which currently sells in India for ₹ 1,04,999, maintained a slim 5.4mm profile and a massive 14.6-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with a resolution of 2960 x 1848 pixels.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 benchmark listing leaves nothing to the imagination
Samsung's next flagship tablets aren't coming until fall presumably, but we already know quite a lot about the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. The two slates were recently spotted on Geekbench, the benchmark score aggregator, which means some of their key specs have been reports claimed Samsung has decided to use MediaTek's Dimensity 9400 or Dimensity 9400+ in its flagship tablets, which was probably a bit disappointing for Samsung fans used to with devices powered by Qualcomm's Dimensity 9400 chipset made its debut last year and will most likely be outclassed by the incoming Dimensity 9500. To make matters worse, MediaTek's new flagship chipset will be introduced before Samsung's tablets said, we have one more piece of the puzzles revealed thanks to a new benchmark listing. The regular Galaxy Tab S11 was recently spotted on the Geekbench website with model number SM-X736B. The tablet listed uses a chipset with eight cores: 1 core @ 3.73GHz, 3 cores @ 3.30GHz, and 4 cores @ 2.40GHz. The base frequency of the chipset is 2.40GHz, but that's about all the information available at first glance. Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 benchmark score | Image credit: Abhishek Yadav However, tipster Abhishek Yadav found even more evidence that the chipset on the Galaxy Tab S11 packs a Mali-G925-Immortalis GPU (graphics processing unit), the same used by MediaTek's flagship Dimensity 9400 and Dimensity 9400+ chips. According to previous reports, the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra might be equipped with either Dimensity 9400 or Dimensity 9400+ CPUs. It's also possible that Samsung will put the Dimensity 9400 chip inside its regular Galaxy Tab S11 and the Dimensity 9400+ CPU in the Ultra model. Besides packing a MediaTek Dimensity 9400/9400+ chipset, the Galaxy Tab S11 seems to come with 12GB RAM and Android 16. The Ultra model is likely to have slightly upgraded specs, but it's unclear which pieces of hardware will be beefed up. Both Samsung's flagship tablets, Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, are expected to be introduced sometime in September. There won't be a Plus model this year, as Samsung seems to have decided to limit its lineup of flagship tablets to just two models.

New leak reveals unexpected details about Samsung's upcoming top-tier tablets
Samsung will have a very busy summer, but that has become tradition for the South Korean company, which remains committed to launching two flagship series each year. After introducing the Galaxy S25 series earlier this year, Samsung is now gearing up for another major launch, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. Besides these two foldables, Samsung is also expected to refresh its flagship tablet series with at least two new models, Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. Rumor has it that the tablets aren't ready for release yet and they're unlikely to hit shelves along with Samsung's new foldables, but that's no surprise considering that most of the company's high-end tablets were announced in fall. Unlike last year when Samsung launched a 'Plus' Galaxy Tab S10 version, this year the South Korean giant decided to limit the series to just two models: Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. The former makes a comeback after one year of hiatus, while the latter continues the string of 'Ultra' tablets Samsung launched since 2022. The first information leaked about the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra indicates that both tablets will be equipped with Dimensity 9400 processors, MediaTek's flagship chipset. Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra has a 11,200 mAh battery, just like the previous Ultra models | Image credit: PhoneArena New details about Samsung's flagship tablets reveal that at least one of them will have a bigger battery, which is unusual. Ever since Samsung launched the first Ultra tablet, the Galaxy Tab S8, it always included a 11,200 mAh battery. However, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra seems to feature a slightly larger battery. The folks at GalaxyClub found evidence that Samsung's next flagship tablet, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, will have a 11,700 - 12,000 mAh battery. The exact capacity will be announced by Samsung, but the rated capacity of Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is 11,374 mAh. In comparison, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra has a rated capacity of 10,880, although the advertised battery capacity of the tablet is 11,200 mAh. This will be the first time that Samsung upgrades the battery of its Ultra tablets. Even if that seems a minor improvement, it makes way for more improvements in future models.
