Samsung could launch three new phones before Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7

Samsung is rumored to announce its new flagship foldables, Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, on July 9. But before that happens, the South Korean company could launch no less than three other Android smartphones, which are part of three different families: Galaxy A, Galaxy F, and Galaxy M. All three phones have been recently spotted in the database of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), which basically means that it's just a matter of time before they go official. They are listed with their model numbers, not the actual market names: SM-A075F/DS, SM-E075F/DS, and SM-M075F/DS. While there's absolutely no information yet about the Galaxy F07 and Galaxy M07, we have plenty of details about the Galaxy A06, an entry-level smartphone that might not bring too many improvements over its predecessor, Galaxy to previous reports, the Galaxy A07 is a 4G phone that will 6/8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage (expandable up to 1TB via microSD), which is more than decent for a budget-friendly phone. A trio of affordable smartphones have been certified for sale in India | Image credit: XpertPick Just like the Galaxy A06, the upcoming model is said to feature a large 6.7-inch PLS LCD display with HD+ resolution. However, the Galaxy A07 is expected to be powered by a slightly larger 5,500 mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging. In comparison, the Galaxy A06 comes with a smaller 5,000 mAh battery, so that's one worthy far as the camera is concerned, improvements are likely to be minimal. The Galaxy A07 is said to feature a dual camera system, just like the Galaxy A06: 50-megapixel main and 2-megapixel depth sensor. Thankfully, the selfies snapper is expected to receive a boost from 8- to 16-megapixel. Naturally, all three affordable smartphones will ship with Android 15 right out of the box, but they will probably be eligible for several major OS updates and many more security updates. Based on previous history, the Galaxy F07 and M07 could have the same specs as the Galaxy A07. It has become the norm for Samsung to launch the same phone under different names in India, so this might be one of those cases. Secure your connection now at a bargain price! Apple's first foldable iPhone may launch in 2026, production to begin late 2025

Representative image Apple is expected to enter the foldable smartphone market next year. As per the popular Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo , the iPhone maker may launch its first foldable iPhone in 2026. Kuo has revealed that Apple may start manufacturing the much-awaited foldable iPhone in late Q3 or Q4 of 2025. 'Assembly supplier Foxconn is expected to officially kick off the project in late 3Q25 or early 4Q25. As of now, many component specifications (including the hinge, which has drawn considerable market attention) have yet to be finalized,' wrote Kuo in a post on X. Apple foldable iPhone: Likely specs and design As per Kuo, the first foldable iPhone is said to feature a "book-style" design, akin to Samsung's Galaxy Fold series, rather than a clamshell form factor. The yet to launch foldable iPhone is tipped to feature a 7.8-inch internal display designed to be "crease-free," a significant engineering feat that would differentiate it from many current foldable offerings. The external display is said to measure 5.5-inches. 'The foldable display is one of the few components with finalized specifications and serves as a good reference for estimating potential shipments. Samsung Display (SDC) plans to build annual production capacity for 7-8 million foldable panels to supply the 2026 foldable iPhone. Given that actual production in 2026 may span only a few months, panel shipments that year are likely to fall short of full capacity.' Added Kuo. Further details emerging from Kuo's analysis suggest the device will boast a titanium alloy chassis, a dual-camera system, and an impressively thin profile, measuring under 5mm when unfolded and between 9-9.5mm when folded. Due to internal space considerations, the foldable iPhone may incorporate Touch ID as a side-mounted sensor instead of Face ID. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Bitcoin vs Gold: Which Is the Better Investment for the Next 1–3 Years? Liseer Undo Apple foldable iPhone initial shipments Initial shipments for the foldable iPhone are projected to be between 3 to 5 million units in 2026. Apple has reportedly placed a total order for 15 to 20 million foldable iPhones, but this volume is expected to be spread across a two to three-year product lifecycle, suggesting a more gradual market adoption for what is expected to be a premium-priced device. 'Recent market rumors suggest Apple has placed an order for 15–20 million foldable iPhones. Based on checks across multiple components, this volume likely reflects cumulative demand over the product's 2–3 year lifecycle, rather than 2026 alone. This indicates that Apple's foldable iPhone, expected to enter mass production in 2H26, may ship several million units annually in both 2027 and 2028, possibly due to its premium pricing,' said Kuo. Apple foldable iPhone: Likely price Rumors indicate the foldable iPhone could carry a price tag upwards of $2,000 to $2,500 (approximately Rs 1.73 lakh to Rs 2.16 lakh). AI Masterclass for Students. Thin, Light and Built to Last: The New Era of the Galaxy Z Series

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – June 15, 2025 – While people have long valued smartphones for their power, convenience and usability, they've also expected a mobile device that blends versatility with portability. At Samsung Electronics, our drive to deliver the ultimate mobile experience has always been guided by the needs of our users. This unwavering commitment to meeting their evolving needs has driven the development and ongoing refinement of innovative form factors that consistently redefine the parameters of mobile experiences. Introduced in 2019, the first Galaxy Fold was a completely new form factor that combined the portability of a smartphone with the extensive productivity of a tablet — challenging conventional perceptions of what a smartphone could be. Driven by the bold vision that foldable phones could reconcile two seemingly conflicting demands—large screens and true portability—Samsung looked to other industries for inspiration, engineering a durable hinge and proving that smartphone displays, too, could fold. It was a synthesis of creativity and productivity that unlocked new possibilities – from seamless multitasking on the go to immersive content creation. But smartphones are constant companions that we tuck into our pockets, use with one hand and take everywhere we go. So it's only natural that users desire a foldable device that is as easy to carry as it is to use. To that end, Samsung engineers and designers are refining each generation of the Galaxy Z series to be thinner, lighter and more durable than the last. This year, that journey reaches a new milestone. The newest Galaxy Z series is the thinnest, lightest and most advanced foldable yet – meticulously crafted and built to last. The Ultra experience is ready to unfold

Samsung Unveils Thinnest and Lightest Galaxy Z Series Foldables Yet

New Delhi – Samsung Electronics has ushered in a new chapter in foldable smartphone technology with the launch of its latest Galaxy Z series. Marking a significant evolution in design and performance, the newest additions are being hailed as the thinnest, lightest, and most durable foldables ever produced by the tech giant. Since introducing the first Galaxy Fold in 2019, Samsung has been at the forefront of redefining mobile form factors, bridging the gap between large-screen productivity and pocket-sized convenience. What began as an ambitious experiment in folding displays has grown into a full-fledged category, driven by Samsung's vision of merging creativity, portability, and productivity. The latest Galaxy Z series builds upon this foundation, pushing the envelope in terms of design innovation. Engineered to meet modern user demands, the devices boast a slimmer and lighter profile without compromising on durability. Samsung's design and engineering teams have focused on refining every element — from the hinge to the materials — ensuring a seamless blend of style, strength, and usability. No, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 Ultra is not coming

Samsung teased its upcoming Galaxy Fold smartphone yesterday, with its press release using the word "Ultra" a few times. The Korean brand said that the "Ultra experience is ready to unfold" and that this device will offer "an Ultra-experience that goes beyond a simple list of upgraded features." This led many to believe that Samsung was referring to the Galaxy Z Fold7 Ultra, but apparently, that's not the case. Tipster Max Jambor claims that what Samsung did "was clearly meant to stir hype," and there will be no Ultra foldable coming. At least not this summer. The "Fold7 itself will bring the 'Ultra' experience," said Jambor. That implies we'll only see three foldables from Samsung at its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event - the Galaxy Z Fold7, the Galaxy Z Flip7, and the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE. Samsung hasn't announced the date of the Unpacked event, but rumors claim it will take place in New York in early July. We should hear more about it and the foldable devices in the coming weeks.
