Suriya 's action-packed entertainer 'Retro,' which hit theatres on May 1, 2025, later made its OTT debut on Netflix. Now, in an interesting twist, director Karthik Subbaraj has revealed his wish to reintroduce the film in a completely new format. In a recent conversation with Galata Plus, the filmmaker shared that he is interacting with Netflix to adapt 'Retro' as a limited series, characterizing extended footage, heightened emotions, and a more nuanced story.
