The Look That Has Fans Calling a Certain F1 Rookie, 20, the Best Dressed at the NYC ‘F1' Movie Premiere

The Look That Has Fans Calling a Certain F1 Rookie, 20, the Best Dressed at the NYC 'F1' Movie Premiere originally appeared on Parade. He might not have won yet in his Formula One career — or even finished on the podium —but Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber driver Gabriel Bortoleto might have finished P1 at the F1 movie premiere in New York City tonight (June 16). For those who are unfamiliar, F1 — starring Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, Javier Bardem and more — is set to hit theaters on June 27, certain to be jam-packed with drama, action and even a little romance. Directed by Joseph Kosinski with a screenplay written by Ehren Kruger, the movie is centered around the life of Sonny Hayes (Pitt), a fictional F1 driver who raced in the 1990s and was forced to retire after a terrible accident, who comes out of retirement to mentor rookie Joshua 'Noah' Pearce (Idris) as his teammate on the Apex Grand Prix team (APXGP). As if it didn't sound spectacular enough, real-life F1 drivers will have special appearances throughout the film. While Bortoleto himself will not be featured — with Max Verstappen, Sergio Pérez, Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz Jr., Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri, Fernando Alonso, Lance Stroll, Pierre Gasly, Esteban Ocon, Valtteri Bottas, Zhou Guanyu, Nico Hülkenberg, Kevin Magnussen, Nyck de Vries, Daniel Ricciardo, Liam Lawson, Yuki Tsunoda, Logan Sargeant and Alex Albon being the only credited appearances in F1 — he still stepped out to show his support, simultaneously becoming possibly the best-dressed driver at the event. On the red carpet — or in this case, the gray carpet — at the F1 movie premiere, Bortoleto stepped out in an oh-so sharp navy suit, consisting of a double breasted blazer that had everyone swooning. He paired said blazer with a white dress shirt and a matching white pocket square, ultimately dressing the look down with some blue suede sneakers as well. His best accessory was his girlfriend, Isabela Bernardini, though, donning a classy one-shoulder black gown for the function. The star of the show was all of the details, with the dress featuring stunning silver gemstones around the neckline, as well as earrings that matched to a T. Needless to say, she looked stunning! Bernardini is not the only person he posed with, snapping a photo with his teammate, Nico Hülkenberg, and the Kick Sauber team principal, Jonathan Wheatley, as well. How sweet is that? Although Bortoleto will not be in the film, will you be catching F1 when it hits theaters on June 27? While you ponder, we will be busy drooling over the Brazilian driver's fire red carpet fit until further notice... F1 star reveals he was BURGLED by thief who 'stole everything' after breaking into his car - and nearly missed the Canadian Grand Prix after passport was nicked

Formula 1 star Gabriel Bortoleto almost missed out this weekend's Canadian Grand Prix after a thief shockingly broke into his car and stole his passport. The Brazilian, who was in Zurich near his Sauber team's headquarters, also had his computer taken while he was eating dinner and was forced to use a different passport and replacement travel documents as he scrambled to get to Montreal on time. The 20-year-old joined Sauber ahead of this season after winning last year's Formula 2 title and is yet to earn a point in his maiden season in the F1 circuit. A 12th place finish in the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona represented his best result so far. And his preparations for the Canadian Grand Prix were dealt a heavy blow as he looks to improve on a challenging campaign, with the thiefs causing 'chaos'. 'I had gone to dinner one day in Switzerland and they ended up opening the car and taking my backpack,' the Sauber driver told Brazilian media. 'I had my passports, everything inside, my computer, all my running gear. 'It was chaos, but we managed to find the guy. 'Everything worked out in the end, I have my passports. We didn't find everything, but we did find some things.' Bortoleto is the 14th highest paid driver, earning around £1.5m a year. The F1 rookie, who replaced former Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas this season, is not the first star to be targeted by thieves. Two years ago, then-Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz chased down thieves and retrieved his £500,000 watch just hours after competing in the Italian Grand Prix in Milan. While Bortoleto is still looking to pick up his first point of the season, team-mate Nico Hulkenburg sits in 11th on 16. Despite Sauber's car being one of the slowest on the grid, the German impressively raced to a fifth-place finish in Spain. Much attention will be fixed of Max Verstappen as the F1 season continues at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal this weekend. The Red Bull driver is in third place but is a single error away from a race ban after his shocking collision with George Russell in Spain. Meanwhile, Brit Lando Norris will be aiming to return to the top of the leaderboard by besting McLaren team-mate and championship rival Oscar Piastri.
