Ajax consider Romanian youth international in search for Jorrel Hato replacement
Ajax have set their sights on Romanian youth international Andrei Borza, according to VoetbalPrimeur and GSP. The 19-year-old left back, who is currently active at the European U21 Championship, is in the picture as a possible successor to Jorrel Hato. According to the Romanian sports outlet, Ajax have been keeping an eye on the defender for at least six months. Borza is even said to be one of the favourites to succeed Hato at the Johan Cruyff Arena. He currently plays for Rapid Bucharest in his own country, where he is a regular. Advertisement The youth international has a transfer clause of four million euros, and partly due to the interest, his club don't expect him to stay next term. Genoa are also reportedly interested in Borza. That said, scouts from the Amsterdam team have watched him several times in recent months. They are also following his performances during the European Championship U21 in Slovakia. Ajax are therefore 'drawing up a profile of the full-back and forming an image'. There is no concrete proposal yet, but he is considered one of the main candidates to succeed Hato, GSP assures. German Shorthaired Pointer Lacks Problem Solving Skills but Makes Up For It in Cuteness
Have you ever gone to a convenience store and didn't notice that the door said push, not pull? It happens all the time and it is usually when you're in a hurry or if you go to a place that you are unfamiliar with and bam you walk right into the door! Dogs tend to be a little more graceful yet equally as confused by all the different doors they encounter. The Instagram video shared by @german_shorthaired._pointer shows a stunning German Shorthaired Pointer who seems caught in the twilight zone of enter and do not enter and she is just adorable! It's clear, she knows exactly what door she wants to go in! However, there is just one problem: it's not actually a door! She has herself propped up on her hind legs with her front paws on the glass window, next to the door and seems to wonder why her humans are just standing there looking at her instead of opening the door. As a signal that she is just a few inches off, her dad pushes on the already opened door, and she just continues to stare at him. It just doesn't click that she needs to move six inches to the right! This sweet girl just cannot make the connection that the door is already open. Although one viewer suggested, 'She knows which door she wants opened. You're the one that's confused!'This pup is equal parts serious and silly, and others shared that their German Shorthaired Pointers struggle with common sense too: 'Intelligent breed and at the same time simple. LOL, mine is the same and confused by the obvious!' 'One of the smartest dogs on earth can't walk through a door!' 'OMG one of mine refuses to use the open slider to the backyard and insists she can only go through the front door!!' Israel says Gaza-bound aid boat with Greta Thunberg has arrived at Israeli port
Jerusalem, Jun 9 (AP) Israel's Foreign Ministry says 12 activists, including Greta Thunberg, have disembarked in the Israeli port of Ashdod after their Gaza-bound boat was seized. They are undergoing medical checks to ensure they are in good health. The ministry has published photographs on social media of Thunberg in the port of Ashdod.
