On Instagram, the Kapuso beauty queen shared some behind-the-scenes footage with Solenn Heussaff, who plays Cassiopeia. "I got 'it' from my mommas," Michelle wrote. "I still can't believe my first-ever scene was with Bathaluman Cassiopeia!? What a *pinch me* moment ng malala," she added. Hara Cassandra was created by Cassiopeia using Sang'gre Lira's hair, Amihan's ashes, and her own blood. When Michelle debuted in "Sang'gre," many netizens praised her stunning visuals and acting skills. The name "Cassandra" also trended on X. Karylle serenades 'It's Showtime' audience with original 'Encantadia' theme song
Twenty years later, Karylle still sounds magical singing the 2005 "Encantadia" theme song! During a commercial break on the set of "It's Showtime," the original Sang'gre Alena serenaded the audience with a performance of "Mahiwagang Puso," which she herself sang for the show's soundtrack. The video of the nostalgic performance was posted on GMA Network's TikTok page. Karylle made up the iconic main cast of "Encantadia" along with Iza Calzado, Diana Zubiri, and Sunshine Dizon. In 2016, GMA Network released a reboot of the series starring Gabbi Garcia, Kylie Padilla, Sanya Lopez, and Glaiza De Castro. Brand new spin-off series "Sang'gre" just premiered on Monday. The Bolzico family is back in España for a family trip! On Instagram, Solenn Heussaff shared some of their fun moments in Granada, Spain, for their latest family adventure. Solenn and Nico Bolzico took their kids, Thylane and Maëlys, with them. The Bolzico family was joined by Anne Curtis, Erwan Heussaff, and their daughter, Dahlia, during their European trip. In the last slide of the Kapuso artist's post, she shared an adorable shot of Thylane, Maëlys, and Dahlia in their matching outfits. 'Sang'gre' delivers epic pilot episode with dragon, giant, prophecy, and a world of ice
"Sang'gre" delivered a pilot episode of epic proportions as we return to the world of "Encantadia!" The opening scene eased us in with the familiar: a flashback to Pirena, Amihan, Alena, and Danaya, the four Sang'gres we know and love. They were all riding horses towards Lireo, but the first surprise of the episode soon appeared: a dragon with a well-made CGI that made it look straight out of "House of the Dragon." The four Sang'gres decided to use the powers of the gems of fire, air, water and earth to slay the creature, which poses a threat to their kingdom. Like in the magical girl genre, their armors flashed with the power of their elements before they attacked the dragon and ultimately vanquished it. After the dragon, another magical creature appeared: a giant named Arsus, who had been hunting the people of Mine-a-ve and ruling the land of ice with terror. This was where Mitena, the main antagonist of the series, made her entrance. She challenged Arsus to a fight and single-handedly won using her unique sword. After killing the giant, Mitena declared herself the Kera or queen of Mine-a-ve. The people then began to kneel one by one to accept her as their ruler. Before the episode ended, Bathalumang Cassiopeia appeared before Pirena, Danaya, and Alena at the present time. She warned them of an ominous dream that she had: someone from another land will bring her death. The opening billboard of "Sang'gre" was also a thing of beauty, with a nod to the "Game of Thrones" opening. Landscapes and castles are shown, paired with the somber sound of cellos before Julie Anne San Jose comes in with vocals. It all comes together with the vocals of Bayang Barrios from the original theme of the series. 'Sang're' cast, crew hold watch party as series premieres on GMA Prime
The cast and crew of "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" held a watch party on Monday evening as the series makes its television premiere on GMA Prime. As seen in Aubrey Carampel's report in "24 Oras" Monday, "Sang'gre" stars Bianca Umali, Faith Da Silva, Angel Guardian, Kelvin Miranda, and Rhian Ramos were among those who attended the watch party. The stars expressed their gratitude to all the supporters of "Sang'gre." "Gusto ko lang magpasalamat sa napakainit na pagtanggap ng ating mga Encantadiks para sa 'Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre.' Alam ko katulad po namin kayo excited na, ito na po 'yung pinakahihintay namin, kaya avisala eshma sa inyo," said Faith. Bianca also shared she felt at once excited and nervous as the show makes its premiere, with Angel and Kelvin sharing the same sentiments.
