GK Barry reveals reason I'm A Celeb cast no longer speak seven months after show – and Maura and Danny's drunken kiss
I'M A Celeb star GK Barry has split the tea on her relationship with her former campmates - and who she's still in contact with. Speaking on The Katie Price podcast, the GK told the former glamour model how the group has disintegrated - just seven months after forming a jungle bond. 5 5 TV star Katie inquired if she still communicated with her 2024 camp buddies. The 47-year-old asked: 'Have you kept in contact, because this is another thing, when I've done Big Brother and all of that, you're like, Yeah, I'll stay in contact... "But you know the ones you'll stay in contact with and some you just know… in the beginning you text and then…' GK admitted: 'We had a group chat. It has died down slightly as you can imagine, it's died down." She added: 'But I still keep in contact with the Rev [ Richard Coles] - and Dean [McCullough] I still keep in contact with a little bit, but mainly the Rev and Melvin [Odoom]." The 25-year-old concluded: 'I keep in contact with Melvin quite a lot.' The internet personality entered the I'm A Celeb Jungle last year and quickly became a fan favourite and ended up placing fifth. Following her TV stint she went on to make multiple appearances on daytime TV show Loose Women. Back in April, the group was still active and radio star Dean lifted the lid on what went on in the cast's infamous WhatsApp thread. Before the group fell apart, he said: "No, no one's left. Everyone's in it. Everyone's chatting away. "I just love it because you'll just wake up one morning, and there'll just be a picture of Coleen [Rooney] on the school run with the kids, or Richard the other day sent us a picture of him at 10 o'clock in the morning in full fancy dress. "He was dressed as a nun. Everyone's in it, of course, and excited to meet up again." While love is in bloom for GK and her footballer girlfriend Ella Rutherford, McFly star Danny 's marriage to his wife Georgia has been rocked since appearing on the show. Singer Danny, 39, has been trying to move on from the fall out from his "drunken kiss" with Maura Higgins, 34, at the Brit Awards. The pair starred alongside GK in the 2024 series of I'm A Celeb. Wife and podcaster Georgia - who briefly moved out of the family home following the kiss scandal - was reportedly "furious" at the way the Star Girl singer had handled the aftermath of the scandal. A few of the campmates are set to be working together soon, which could make things very awkward for Maura and Danny. Georgia broke her silence on social media after three months on from the kiss and posted her first photo of her husband in a Father's Day tribute. 5 5 5

Katie Price sparks feud with Love Island star as she takes swipe saying ‘she loves herself' – and it's not who you think
Joanne Kavanagh, Showbiz Reporter Published: Invalid Date, KATIE Price today sparked a feud with a Love Island star after she took a cruel swipe at her. Former glamour girl Katie, 47, didn't hold back when she revealed what she REALLY thought about this Islander - and it's not who you might think. 5 5 5 5 In the latest episode of her podcast The Katie Price Show, Pricey revealed she didn't like Love Island 2025 star Sophie Lee, 29. The former fire breather and dancer, who was left scarred for life following a terrifying accident, saw her Love Island journey cut short after she was first to be axed. Now, Katie has taken a pop at her, as she talked about the reality dating show with her podcast guest, GK Barry. Speaking about Sophie, Pricey said: "She thinks she's the s**t. "I'm sorry, already. You lot don't have to comment, but I say as it is. Do you know what?" Then referring to Sophie talking about her accident in the villa with Harry Cooksley, 30, after they had been coupled up, Katie said: "And I know she had an accident, a fire accident. "Yeah. She was a fire girl, that's how she's got them scars. "But as soon as she spoke to the guy that she's been paired up with, I don't know all their names yet. "I did say, 'I wonder how quick she dropped the fire accident in', and then she did it." SPEAKING OUT Sophie was dumped from Love Island on day 2, after a villa twist saw Shakira Khan, 22, chose her partner Harry to re-couple up with. First person dumped from Love Island revealed She broke her silence on her shock villa departure last week yet, in a chat with Love Island host Maya Jama, 30, on Aftersun, jokingly hinting at some discontent. She joked that her "bed was still warm at home" following her speedy show stint and, as Maya asked if it was a shock, she replied: "I feel like you don't expect anything. "The best outcome is not to attach yourself to anything. "I went in there to enjoy the whole experience, so if anything, everyone was really sad. 5 "And I was like 'why is everyone sad?'." Maya then asked Sophie about the public response towards her and she said: "Yeah, it's been such an overwhelming response of love and support. "'Who called to report a crime, I was robbed on TV!'" Shortly after she was brutally dumped, Sophie said of her antics: "I just was myself, fully. My silly, wonderful and little bit cautious (but that's just me) self." She added of former show partner Harry - who stood up to show his interest in Shakira: "As long as he's happy. "I know for me, what I make of my life is down to me. Troll made £500k a year from sick abuse of my mates GK Barry & Stacey Solomon – I know how to stop it happening again
FOLLOWING years of fevered speculation over who's the mystery owner making vast profits from toxic website Tattle, the truth has finally been revealed. It's an Englishman called Sebastian Bond, aka Bastian Durward (anagram 'u inward bastard' — how apt.) 6 6 And guess what? He's a ' vegan blogger' who has written plant-based recipe books and probably subscribes publicly to the #BeKind mindset while simultaneously making around £500k a year in ad revenue from the largely anonymous vitriol posted by his site's users. Tattle, for anyone in blissful ignorance, is infamous for unfiltered discussions about celebrities and online influencers, including my friends Stacey Solomon and GK Barry, who are both genuinely lovely people and deserve better than to be harshly judged by someone who's probably never even met them.. It claims to be a forum for 'free speech' and, for sure, many of the posts making firm but fair criticisms of anyone who monetises their life by putting it online fall under this description. But there's also anonymously posted content that's at best, pure vitriol, at worst, downright lies that can ruin the subject's livelihood. And thanks to Bond's efforts to obscure his finances by operating across international jurisdictions such as Hong Kong, he has been happily profiting from other people's misery while shielding his own identity and income . . . until now. Enter Neil and Donna Sands from Northern Ireland. He's a 43-year-old tech entrepreneur, she's the 34-year-old founder of fashion label Sylkie, and together — after finding a 45-page thread of defamatory and false claims about them on Tattle Life — they used their own money to launch a legal action. In December 2023, it resulted in them being awarded £150,000 each and, this month, finally saw reporting restrictions on Bond's name being lifted. The High Court has also ordered Bond to pay costs of £1.8million, and frozen assets of over £1million, believed to be from the site's ad revenue. It will review this decision next week. The Sands have now made the following statement… 'For nearly a decade, the hate site Tattle Life has profited as a space where users could defame, harass, stalk and attack others online — all behind a veil of seeming anonymity . . . 'For some, this court ruling comes sadly too late, as the site has cost innocent people their businesses, reputations, and mental health. 'For others, we hope it marks a turning point — a reminder that the internet is not an anonymous place.' Except that, sadly, it still is unless you have the financial means for a protracted legal battle. I have been writing this column for nearly 30 years now, and every week it's checked by sub-editors, executives and lawyers before going to print. If I published a sentiment as blatantly vile and unfounded as some of the comments currently on Tattle, I would immediately be 'cancelled', lose the majority of my freelance work and rightly be sued. That's because my name is at the top of the column so I take full ownership of my views and I'm easy to track down. But the anonymity of some of the internet's worst trolls means that it's still the Wild West when it comes to libel laws, and I have long argued on this page that everyone should be required to have an online handle that, at the very least, includes their real name, a verified photo and country location, even if it's @JaneMooreUK4567. That way, it might make some of the internet's worst offenders think twice before posting downright lies designed to destroy someone's peace of mind or livelihood. Will this successful legal action prove to be the final nail in Tattle Life's coffin? Perhaps, but chop off the monster's head and, like the Hydra, it will simply grow another. The only way to truly thwart the worst of unfounded bile is to make online trolls identifiable so they think twice before posting it. BEWARE SIZZLE, GWYN 6 GWYNETH PALTROW says that when TV producer Brad Falchuk was her boyfriend, she started the tradition of making him breakfast every Saturday morning. 'It became this very special moment for us. They are called #boyfriendbreakfasts to this day.' And of course, he's now her husband. But Gwynnie isn't slacking now she's got the ring on her finger – oh no. Here she is, er, topless while cooking him a skillet brekkie of eggs, tomatoes and sizzling sausages. To which, I can only comment: 'Ouch.' Chefs wear aprons for a reason. REGULAR readers of this column will know that I have long campaigned for The Who frontman Roger Daltrey to receive a knighthood for his tireless fund- raising in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust. 6 And finally, it has now happened. Arise Sir Roger. Long overdue but truly deserved. SCHOOLS LOOS OUT A NEW survey by Parenthood says pupils don't want to attend school because the toilets are so disgusting. It found that one in six parents rated the loos at their child's school as unclean. Obviously, schools should make every effort to ensure that such facilities are checked and cleaned regularly. But equally, most of the kids currently saying they want to skip school because of these conditions will no doubt happily toddle off to Glastonbury / Reading /Leeds festivals and defecate in a stinking hole in the ground with just a flimsy piece of hessian shielding their modesty from the 45-mile queue. RETURNALL TO FRANCE 6 DESPITE the Prime Minister 's ludicrous claim that the UK is leading the world in tackling people-smuggling gangs, the evidence that we're not is there for all to see. More than 16,000 have reportedly reached these shores from France this year alone, despite us paying Emmanuel Macron 's government nearly £500million to supposedly help stop the small boats. Last week I suggested that, rather than focusing on the desperate people risking their lives to board the dinghies, the French police could simply arrest the balaclava-clad people-smugglers holding the keys. This week, I have another suggestion. To cross the Channel in one of these flimsy contraptions, it takes anything from three to six hours, depending on the weather. And the majority are picked up halfway across by lifeboats or Border Force vessels who then bring them to the UK. But as we supposedly have a 'deal' with France, why don't we just pick them up and immediately return them to the same beach they boarded from? News would soon get round and act as a deterrent, no? THE head of private school Winchester College says parents should take summer holidays in places with bad WiFi to encourage their children to read good books and stay off their screens. Hmmm. Nice idea, but pretty much every time I've seen someone pacing agitatedly around a hotel trying to pick up a decent signal it's nearly always been one of the parents. GO FOR IT, BRAD . . . UNTIL INES PUTS HER FOOT DOWN 6 BRAD PITT 'S recent fashion choices have led to suggestions he may be suffering from a midlife crisis. Baggy jeans, shiny nylon cargo pants, a banana-yellow suit – these have all been cited by fashionistas as evidence that the 61-year-old movie star is perhaps trying to cling on to his youth because new girlfriend Ines de Ramon is just 32. But personally speaking, I feel that any man who eschews the mid-life male's uniform of baggy grey T-shirt and elasticated-waist cargo shorts should be celebrated. And as Ines undoubtedly knows, we always have a secret weapon when a partner starts favouring a clothing item that does them no favours. We quietly dispose of it and, when they ask where it's gone, reply wide-eyed and innocent with: 'Sorry honey, absolutely no idea.' CHEER UP, CHAPS THE difference between men and women: Part 784. Here's Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali and Jonathan Bailey promoting their new movie Jurassic World Rebirth at an official photocall in London. Exuding Hollywood glamour with red lipstick, designer suit and killer heels, Scarlett beams broadly at the assembled photographers. Meanwhile, the two blokes look like a couple of dressed-for-comfort tourists who've been ambushed by a charity canvasser. Cheer up chaps. Think of the pay cheque.

GK Barry urges women to book a smear test after doctors found early signs of HPV
GK Barry has urged women not to avoid their smear tests as she opened up about her own test, where doctors found the early signs of human papillomavirus (HPV) and were able to act quickly I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here star GK Barry spoke on Loose Women about the importance of getting a smear test and how the often-avoided test can save your life. The influencer said that thanks to her recent cervical screening test, doctors were able to find early signs of an STI called human papillomavirus (HPV). The 25-year-old said that doctors found "bad cells" during her screening. GK, whose real name is Grace, then made a return visit for a colposcopy - a procedure to treat abnormal cells. On June 15, the TikTok creator said: "When my smear test came up, I went to go and get it, and thank god I did because, when I went I tested positive for HPV. I just had some bad cells so I had to then go and get a colposcopy... and get it burnt off". She explained that she has check ups "so regularly" to "keep an eye on them," referring to the "bad cells" infected with HPV. The social media influencer spoke further about how she thinks people don't get smear tests due to embarrassment or out of fear. Speaking passionately on the topic, Grace said: "My thing is a lot of people my age... they just think it will be alright. They don't want to know what the answer is. I think it's so important to get your smear test done because 90% of the time nothing's wrong". According to Nuffield Health, one in 20 smear test "note abnormal cell changes and most of these changes won't lead to cervical cancer. But in some cases the abnormal cells will need to be removed so they can't become cancerous". She opened up in her advocacy, adding: "I'm the first one out of a lot of my friends and family to have to go back and get something done like a colposcopy, but I'd rather be told I've got something early and be able to live than, because I was too scared of catching something or the answer, catch something late and end up dying". Grace 's experience has reached over 2.2 million views on TikTok alone with many fans of the show commenting a mix of support and their own uncomfortable experiences. Unintentionally, the comment section became a forum for young and older women alike to help work past the narrative that avoiding the pain is worth the risk. One user wrote: "I won't go because I refuse to be put in pain, and yes, it is painful. When they can find less traumatising ways, I'll go". In a collective effort to convince what would be a stranger, one of 198 replies to the comment alone." Another comment read: "I don't trust doctors either but after watching my mum go through her cancer battle (bowel) - still chemo/ radiotherapy- the effects cancer has on your body, I would take a smear everyday over that. I've had smears that hurt and [were] uncomfortable and ones that were fine but it was nothing compared to seeing what someone with cancer goes through".# What is HPV and does it cause cancer? According to Cancer Research UK, HPV is a common virus that infects the skin and cells lining the inside of the body. It usually has no symptoms and for most people, will be cleared from the body without causing any problems. It's contracted through close skin-to-skin contact, typically during sexual activity, including vaginal, anal, or oral sex. There are different types of HPV which range from low to high risk. High risk HPV types can cause cancer if they stay in the body for a long time. Cervical cancer is often linked to HPV as it causes nearly all cases. You can get a HPV vaccination to help prevent cancer and protect against HPV. Cancer Research state that in the UK all children aged 11-13 in the UK can get the HPV vaccine. It's also available for free to people up to the age of 25 who missed their vaccine when they were offered it, men who have sex with men (up to the age of 45), and some transgender people (up to the age of 45). Safe sex, cervical screenings and stopping smoking can also reduce your risk of HPV. How to book a smear test The NHS website states that an invitation for a smear test - or cervical screening - will be sent via the NHS App, text or letter when it's time to book for you to book an appointment once your 25th birthday has passed, and then every three years. Within the invitation, you will receive instructions on where and how to book, though most screenings are done by female nurses and doctors at your GP surgery, says the NHS website. If you have missed your last screening, there is no need to wait for an invitation. To book an appointment, the NHS advise you call your GP or arrange a screening online. There is also the option of booking at your local sexual health clinic or walk-in centre, however this is only available in some parts of England so it's important to check. Help us improve our content by completing the survey below. We'd love to hear from you! When should you book a smear test? Smear tests are best to have done when you are not experiencing your menstrual period so try to avoid the two days before and after you're expected to bleed, advises the NHS. If you do not experience a period then you can book at any time. The NHS also suggest you book after you have finished any treatments if you have unusual vaginal discharge or a pelvic infection. Note that before being tested, you should avoid the use of any vaginal medicines, lubricants or creams for at least two days before your screening as they can affect the results.
