SB19's Pablo, Justin support Coach Jay's stint as judge in 'Stars on the Floor'
SB19 members Pablo and Justin are nothing but supportive of their dance coach, Jay Joseph Roncesvalles, who will serve as one of the judges of "Stars on the Floor." As seen in Lhar Santiago's report in "24 Oras," Monday, Pablo and Justin said that they are happy that their Kuya Jay will be able to share the lessons he has taught to them. "Actually, hindi lang ngayon pag-choreograph eh kasi more than that 'yung binibigay ni Kuya Jay. Kumbaga, binibigay niya kami ng passion, pinapalakas niya 'yung loob namin whenever we perform," Justin said. Meanwhile, Pablo, who also served as a coach himself in "The Voice Kids Philippines," has some advice for Coach Jay. "Marami siyang makukulit na tinuturuan. W3, SB19. Alam mong sincere 'yung sinasabi niya, alam mong makakatulong sa'yo. So, 'yun lang be you. Tapos lalabas na 'yun. Mas marami kang matutulungan lalo na dito sa 'Stars on the Floor,'" he said. Coach Jay is the choreographer behind SB19's hit songs "GENTO," "DAM," and "DUNGKA." According to him, he's looking forward to the upcoming competition, which will feature dance collaborations in duos, pairing showbiz celebrities with social media personalities. "Alam ko din na lagi akong sumasayaw and then ngayon parang baka mayroon pang may natatago pa kung pwedeng gawin na baka ibang tao 'yung mga pagpalabas," he said. Coach Jay said he was surprised when he received the offer on being a judge of the dance show. "Parang napatanong din ako sa sarili ko. It's about time siguro na sa lahat ng experience ko ma-share ko din, magamit ko din and then baka ito na din 'yung perfect time na binigay sa akin para alam mo 'yung maging judge sa TV," he said. Aside from Coach Jay, Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera and Pokwang will also serve as the judges of "Stars in the Floor." The show will be hosted by Alden Richards. "Stars on the Floor" will begin airing on GMA Network on June 28. —Jade Veronique Yap/MGP, GMA Integrated News
