Public Front: Israel exploits attack on Iran to commit more crimes in Gaza

Gaza - Saba: The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) said that the Zionist enemy exploited the US-Zionist war of aggression against Iran to cover up the new massacre it committed today, Tuesday, against those waiting for aid in the Gaza Strip. The Front added, in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), "In a new brutal crime and an intense expression of its genocidal war, the Zionist enemy committed a horrific massacre this morning by targeting crowds of besieged civilians waiting for aid east of Khan Younis." It stated that the massacre resulted in "the martyrdom of more than 50 people and the injury of more than 200 others, in a scene that is being repeated daily amidst complete international silence and blatant complicity." It considered this massacre "part of the systematic mass killing of our people in Gaza, which the enemy is exploiting under the cover of the US-Zionist war of aggression against Iran, in parallel with a deliberate media blackout aimed at obscuring its ongoing crimes against our Palestinian people." The movement emphasized that the so-called "aid companies" and their fake security fronts have become tools of organized mass murder, used to gather besieged, starving civilians under promises of humanitarian aid, then turn them into direct targets for enemy fire. It noted that the methods used to commit these crimes are "a calculated mechanism of murder, conducted under a false humanitarian cover, and require exposure and confrontation by all means." The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine called on the free people of the world, free voices, and anti-colonial movements to take urgent action to break the silence, stop this comprehensive war against the Palestinian people, and confront the enemy's policies of using aid as a tool to kill the starving. Polisario Front criticizes exclusion from Africa Day celebration in Canary Islands

The Polisario Front was not invited to the Africa Day celebration in the Canary Islands, organized this week by the Federation of African Associations of the archipelago. According to an Iberian media outlet, the Polisario Front's delegation in the Canary Islands «expressed regret in a statement released on Sunday, June 15, over the exclusion of Western Sahara from the festival». The Front's representatives also condemned «attempts to mislead citizens about the sovereignty of Western Sahara, which contradict international law and the rulings of the Court of Justice of the European Union». Meanwhile, Kingsley Odiesi, president of the Federation of African Associations of the Canary Islands, told the Iberian press that «the festival was created as a gesture of gratitude for the support and hospitality that the Canary Islands extend to Africans». He explained the Polisario's absence by noting that its representative had withdrawn from the Federation of African Associations of the archipelago.

PFLP: Intercepting humanitarian ship carrying unarmed activists cowardly, despicable act

Gaza – Saba: The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) condemned on Monday "in the strongest terms the Israeli enemy's piracy of the Madeleine ship, which was heading to break the siege on Gaza." It considered it "a new crime added to its black record of targeting international activists and unarmed civilians." In a statement, a copy of it received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the PFLP held the occupation fully responsible for their safety and called for their immediate release, as well as for widespread popular and international action to confront this rampage, through escalating solidarity and supporting free initiatives that break the siege. It stated: "The interception of a humanitarian ship carrying unarmed activists and international activists is a cowardly and despicable act that reflects the occupation's failure to break Gaza's isolation or silence the voices of the free." It emphasized that the ongoing siege is a war crime being committed in full view of the world. The Front saluted the courage of the international activists on board the ship and their determination to defy the occupation's threats and continue their movement to break the blockade, affirming that the voice of solidarity cannot be confiscated. It stated: "This piracy will not intimidate free people, but will once again expose the nature of this entity based on terrorism and genocide, and will ignite the international solidarity movement." It called for "the broadest boycott and legal prosecution campaigns, the organization of new maritime and land movements, and the intensification of pressure on complicit or silent governments." The Front renewed its call for the launch of freedom flotillas and convoys from all over the world in support of Gaza and to break this unjust blockade, affirming that the Palestinian cause remains alive in the conscience of free people. It stated: "The occupation has accumulated a dark record of piracy, kidnapping, and targeting of solidarity activists, and it must be confronted with decisive international action and a global popular movement that will put an end to this bloody entity that is hostile to peoples and to all values of justice, freedom, and humanity." PFLP warns of Zionist targeting of Freedom Flotilla

Gaza – Saba: The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) warned on Saturday of Zionist threats targeting international participants in the Freedom Flotilla aboard the ship "Madeleine," which is heading to the Gaza Strip in a new attempt to break the unjust and ongoing blockade imposed by the Zionist enemy. In a statement, the Front expressed its full solidarity with the international activists and solidarity activists participating in the Freedom Flotilla, stressing that their safety is the responsibility of the entire international community. It held the US administration, in particular, directly responsible if these activists were subjected to any harm or assault by Zionist enemy forces. The PFLP noted that this courageous and honorable step by international solidarity activists carries a strong and influential message in the face of the blockade, genocide, and systematic starvation to which the Palestinian people are subjected in Gaza. It considered this step by those in solidarity with the Palestinian people an open call to All free people, activists, and solidarity ships around the world should follow this approach to break the siege and expose the crimes of the Zionist enemy. With American and European support, the Israeli enemy army has been committing genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in the deaths of 54,772 Palestinian citizens, the majority of whom are children and women, and the injury of 125,834 others. To date, this is a preliminary toll, with thousands of victims still buried under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulances and rescue crews. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print

Mauritania stands firm : President rejects Polisario's plea to reopen Lebriga border

Mauritanian President Mohamed Cheikh Ould El Ghazouani has rejected the Polisario's request to reverse the decision to close the Lebriga region, located on the border with Algeria—a measure implemented by the Mauritanian army on May 21. «This refusal was communicated to the head of the Front's delegation, which traveled to Nouakchott on Friday following mediation by Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune», a source close to the matter told Yabiladi. The Polisario delegation remains in Mauritania. On Sunday, they met with Sid Ahmed Ould Mohamed, the secretary-general of the Insaf Party (Equity), which is affiliated with President Ould El Ghazouani. Meanwhile, Sahrawis living in the Tindouf camps expressed their skepticism on Sunday, June 1, through audio messages, questioning «the Mauritanian army's ability to secure its borders». They stressed that achieving this objective «necessarily requires the support of the Sahrawi Republic and Algeria». Some even accompanied their «analyses» with threats against Mauritania's economic interests.
