Helen Flanagan recalls being bullied in school over television fame

Reality star Helen Flanagan once became a subject of bullying in her school over her show 'Coronation Street'. The actress was just nine years old when she replaced Emma Collinge as Rosie Webster in 2000, but her TV career led her to be tormented by her jealous peers, reports 'Female First UK'. Helen only escaped the torment when her parents, Julia Flanagan and Paul Flanagan, moved her to a private girls' school. As per 'Female First UK', Helen, who played her alter ego on the ITV1 soap on-and-off for 18 years, is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper's Hot TV column as saying, "I did struggle with a lot of bullying in my first school because I was on 'Coronation Street'. I did really get picked on. My parents then moved me to a private girls' school". The 34-year-old TV star, who has daughters Matilda, nine, and Delilah, six, as well as a son Charlie, three, with her ex-partner Scott Sinclair, admitted the bullying she endured makes her worry as a mum. Jimin & Jungkook Are Back! BTS Reunion Inches Closer with Suga's Return Coming Soon She said, "Because I got picked on an awful lot, as a mum, I worry. My little girl, she is a sweetie and soft like me". Helen previously said she would jump at the chance to return to Weatherfield, the fictional town in Salford, Greater Manchester, where 'Coronation Street' is based, and would like Rosie to become one of the Rovers Return pub's "iconic" barmaids. In an interview with The Sun on Sunday newspaper's Bizarre column in March, the actress said, "I'd love to see Rosie come back as a single mum, having just left her partner. She'd dump her two kids with Sally and I think she would be an iconic barmaid at the Rovers Return. Especially as I am living up north again now". And the actress admitted putting an effort into her appearance helps her feel like her own person, rather than just her children's mother.

Billy Bob Thornton says he is not a part of Hollywood

Actor Billy Bob Thornton , who is known for his work in 'Fargo', 'The Gray Man' and others, has said that he doesn't belong to Hollywood. The actor said that he doesn't consider himself to be part of Hollywood, reports 'Female First UK'. The 69-year-old actor has enjoyed huge success in the movie business, starring in films such as 'A Simple Plan', 'Armageddon' and 'Friday Night Lights', but he tries to distance himself from the Hollywood scene. He told 'People' magazine, "I don't talk about politics and stuff with people. I just kind of stay out of it all. I'm not really much of a part of Hollywood, as you say. I'm at home with the family, or I'm in a recording studio or on the road or making this. Those are the things I do, and I just kind of mind my own business". As per 'Female First UK', Billy Bob plays Tommy Norris, a landman for an oil company, in the Paramount series Landman, and he's enjoyed playing the character more than he initially imagined. The actor said, "It's almost like a few characters I've played boiled into one. He's like the guy from Goliath, Bad Santa, it's like he doesn't suffer fools, but he also has some fun every now and then. I'm just basically playing who I would be if I were a landman". Billy Bob previously confessed that he feels "nervous" watching himself on screen. The actor revealed that he's tried to avoid seeing himself in Landman, even though he's been widely praised for his performance. He told 'Extra', "I get nervous watching myself, so I haven't actually seen them myself". Landman was created by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, and Taylor actually wrote the show with Bill Bob in mind. The actor shared, "I had done a cameo for Taylor in '1883'. I just went down to Fort Worth and did this cameo in '1883'. When were at the premiere of that in Las Vegas, he said, 'Listen, I'm writing this show with your voice called 'Landman'. He goes, 'I think you're really going to dig this'. So he had told me about it a couple of years before we actually started filming and I got really excited when he sent me the first couple of scripts. It kind of fits like a glove". Chris Evans is 'sad' for not being 'invited to party' for 'Avengers: Doomsday'

Hollywood star Chris Evans has expressed his disappointment for not being a part of 'Avengers: Doomsday'. The 43-year-old actor, who played Captain America across eight films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), has admitted while he's still in touch with his former castmates, there's a different feeling after leaving the franchise in 'Avengers: Endgame', reports 'Female First UK'. He told ScreenRant, "Yeah, I talk to them all the time. It's where Pedro (Pascal) is right now. I mean, it's sad to be away. It's sad to not be back with the band, but I'm sure they're doing something incredible, and I'm sure it's going to be that much harder when it comes out, and you feel like you weren't invited to the party". As per 'Female First UK', Evans made his final appearance in the MCU when his Captain America travels back in time to return the Infinity Stones. He decides to stay in the past with Peggy Carter, while in the present day, the moniker and shield are passed onto Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie). Mackie, 46, will be in the upcoming blockbuster, and he has teased the film will give audiences "that old Marvel feeling". He told IGN, "We're kicking on down the road, so everybody's getting excited and we're getting the band back together. We're supposed to go out this week, and we'll be out there doing it. Everybody's excited. I feel with the script and having the Russo brothers back, it's going to be great. I'm really excited for what this project is going to be. It's going to give the audience that old Marvel feeling that they always had". Meanwhile, Alan Cumming recently admitted he was "amazed and excited" to be returning as Nightcrawler for 'Avengers: Doomsday', which is currently filming in London. Robert De Niro divulges biggest parenting tip that he lives by

Los Angeles: Hollywood legend Robert De Niro has said that he will always "support" his children. He won't let it come in the way of his disagreement with them on their choices. The 81-year-old actor, who has Drena, 57, Raphael, 48, 29-year-old twins Julian and Airyn, Elliot, 27, and Helen Grace, 13, from previous relationships and two-year-old Gia with partner Tiffany Chen, believes the most important thing a parent can do for their kids is to always back their decisions, reports 'Female First UK'. He told 'Entertainment Tonight', 'The main thing is to support your kids. As long as they're not hurting themselves, doing anything destructive or anything like that, you have to support them, period. Even if you don't go with it—you have to support them. And they have to know that you support them. Always'. The 'Goodfellas' star hailed his youngest child as "just pure joy". He added, 'She's two now. It's always wonderful'. As per 'Female First UK', the 'Meet the Fockers' actor previously told of how he "somehow makes it work" when it comes to juggling his career with raising a toddler. He told E! News, "Yeah, she's great! She came on the 'Zero Day' set a few times, I shot that last year. You make it work, somehow. Sometimes I have her on the set with my girlfriend. I'm lucky, I have a camper'. However, Robert admitted he doesn't change the youngster's diapers. Asked if he does, he recently told The Sunday Times magazine, "No, no, but I used to!" But the veteran actor enjoys spending early mornings with his little girl. He said: "I'm an early riser. I spend my mornings watching (YouTuber for toddlers) Ms. Rachel with her, and I give her her bottle'. Robert "tries his best" to be a good dad and to meet his children' s different needs. He said, "Oh God, they would all have a different answer. Family is so complex. I try my best, that's all. I hope they'll be happy'.
