She paired the dress with black stilettos and small oval sunglasses as she posed with Mutya and Siobhán. It comes after Rita left little to the imagination as she performed at the World Club Dome Festival on Saturday in Frankfurt, Germany. The singer put on a high-octane performance with a slew of scantily clad-backing dancers for the excited crowd. Taking to the stage, Rita flaunted her long legs in a pair of bright blue lacy hotpants with knee high boots. The Hot Right Now star teamed it with a matching ripped crop top and striped arm warmers as she belted out her biggest hits. Meanwhile, Friday also saw the release of the music video for Rita's latest sizzling song Heat. The sexy single boasts several racy lyrics, including: the single, she sings: 'Sex on sight, anywhere you like. Inside or outside' and 'Only one thing I need, your heat on me.' Speaking to The Sun this week about the track, she explained: 'It's the need of it happening right now, in this moment. It's the idea that I want it on right now or I don't want to hear about it. It's that simple. 'I think that comes from the excitement of the song. I wanted it to feel instant and to have an impact. It is a brave, straight-up demand that you can use in any way you want.' Heat is expected to feature on her upcoming, still untitled, fourth album, which will be her first album release since her 2023 You & I. Rita told the publication: 'I wanted to really celebrate my sexuality and the way I am as a woman. My last album was so different, it was about my love life and getting married. 'But with this next lot of music I wanted it to be so carefree and back to how I was coming up in the industry. I wanted to celebrate everything I have become. It's not super deep, just fun.' Rita has recently been supporting Kylie for the first leg of her tour after she previously revealed that Kylie's 2023 mega-hit from Tension, Padam Padam was nearly given to her. The synth-pop banger - penned by Norwegian singer-songwriter Ina Wroldsen and producer Lostboy - was a viral hit for Kylie. But several artists were asked if they wanted to record it, including the Anywhere singer, because they didn't feel it was a Kylie song. Rita began performing as the support act for Kylie's Tension Tour in April at Atlanta's State Farm Arena. Gushing about the gig afterwards, she said: 'First night of the tour, wow the reception was incredible and I'm so grateful for this opportunity to connect with North America. It feels like such a huge compliment to open up for such an icon.'

Sydney vs Melbourne rivalry reignited as Toorak 'it' girls take on the eastern suburbs socialites at swanky fashion dinner - but there is one noticeable absence: 'They know how to show up'
The age-old Sydney versus Melbourne rivalry reared its head again this week. And it all happened at the launch of Melbourne based designer Effie Kats' new collection at the Buon Ricordo restaurant in the Sydney Suburb of Paddington. A gaggle of Melbourne's hottest 'It' girls made the trek up north for the event where they were joined by some Sydney's most notable socialites. The Melbourne gang included Nadia Bartel, Lindy Klim, Rozilla Russian, Sarah Lucas, Jade Kisnorbo, Lana Wilkinson, and the woman of the hour, Effie Kats. Curiously, the doyenne of Melbourne socialites, Bec Judd, was conspicuously absent. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Meanwhile, the Sydney contingent was represented by Bernadette Fahey, Deborah Symond O'Neil, Simone Holtznagel, Anna Heinrich, Ellie Ferguson, Montana Cox, Kate Waterhouse, Sarah Ellen and Indy Clinton. It was somewhat of an auspicious occasion too, with the Melbourne and Sydney socialite clutches rarely seen together outside of huge events such as the Melbourne Cup Carnival. While there was interstate mingling, both groups posed for some separate group photos. The Melbourne contingent appeared to arrive at the event together, with Sydney based Elle Ferguson sharing a shot of the group to Instagram. The image showed fashion influencer Rozalia , makeup artist Jade Kisnorbo, Effie, Henne designer Nadia, stylist Lana and socialite Sarah posing up a storm as they arrived. 'The Melbourne crew know how to show up. Just WOW!' Ellie captioned the stunning snap. The Sydney contingent appeared to be sticking together too, with former Bachelor star Anna sharing a selfie to Instagram that showed her posing cheek to cheek with racing heiress Kate Waterhouse. There did seem to be some interstate mingling on Anna's feed however, with another photo showing her posing close with Sydney model Simone and Jade Kisnorbo. There did seem to be some interstate mingling on Anna's feed however, with another photo showing her posing close with Sydney model Simone Holtznagel and Jade Kisnorbo The event appeared to go off with a bang, with all attendees looking as though they were having a great night out in Sydney. TikTok star Indy Clinton looked to be having a whale of a time, beaming broadly as she exited the venue. She put on a quirky display, shielding herself from the rain with an eye-catching children's umbrella. The colourful accessory was somewhat at odds with Indy's chic fitted black dress with a cut-out at the midriff. Nadia Bartel was dressed to the nines in a chocolate brown full length gown with a plunging, bare back. The dress clung close to her figure before flaring off into draped skirting and also included sheer long sleeves. Nadia chose a warm toned makeup look with lots of highlighter and a dark pink nude lip. The former AFL WAG was seen leaving the venue with Melbourne-based actress Sarah Ellen. The Neighbours actress brought out her inner goth with a pale makeup look and daring black velvet dress with a large cut out at the side and a short train. Sarah was also spotted at the front of the venue with her pal and music collaborator Josh Kempen who rugged up in a grey beanie. Aussie Home Loans heiress Deborah Symond O'Neil put on quite a stylish display in a stunning strapless white gown. She left her flaxen locks down for the occasion, accessorising with some silver bling in her ears and a matching thick silver necklace. Simone Holtznagel was also spotted leaving the venue, rugging up in a long black trench coat that finished below the knee. She wore this over a stunning black one shoulder gown that sat close to her figure. Bondi Pilates queen Bernadette Fahey was also all smiles leaving the star-studded event. She cut a chic figure in a high-neck black blouse that she wore under a smart black blazer.

Diana Ross returns to the Met Gala for the first time in 22 years
Editor's Note: Featuring the good, the bad and the ugly, 'Look of the Week' is a regular series dedicated to unpacking the most talked about outfit of the last seven days. CNN — There were many firsts at the 2025 Met Gala — it was the first exhibition to focus exclusively on Black designers, and the first year the event raised more than $30 million in donations. But among these record-breaking moments was an important return. After a hiatus of more than two decades, disco legend and one-third of The Supremes, Diana Ross, graced the Met steps once more for fashion's biggest night of the year. Ross, who last attended the Met Gala back in 2003, arrived at the event Monday adorned in feathers and sporting a jaw-dropping 18-foot-long train. It took five men to carry the star's hand-embroidered ivory white accessory, which enveloped the carpeted steps when laid flat. But hidden in the yards of fabric was a small detail many may have missed. 'It has (stitched) the names of all my children and my eight grandchildren,' Ross told Vogue carpet-side, calling the dress 'a forever family gown.' Related article Met Gala 2025: The best looks from the red carpet On her arm was Evan Ross, her son and the co-creator of the look. 'She is the best thing. She is the Met Ball,' he told Vogue. Ross worked with Ugo Mozie, a Nigerian designer and founder of fashion label Eleven Sixteen to bring his mother's show-stopping ensemble to life. 'Family. Heritage. Legacy,' Mozie posted on social media. 'So grateful to be a part of this special moment. To have co-designed this work of art for an Icon.' Underneath the larger-than-life train, the Motown singer donned a crystal-embellished spaghetti-strapped gown and a dazzling pair of chandelier earrings. On her head sat a custom, wide-brimmed feathered hat by LA-based milliner Sarah Sokol. Despite being one of the most memorable outfits of the evening, Ross let slip that her appearance was actually last minute. 'There was not a plan,' she said. 'My son persuaded me (to come), because I'm actually on tour. He said, 'Mom, you gotta go.'' Luckily for us, she had just the thing to wear.
