While Diddly Squat Farm and Farm Shop have been somewhat of an attraction since the show's debut in 2021, the unveiling of Jeremy's new pub has made a lot of people wonder if they can visit. Diddly Squat Farm Shop and the Farmer's Dog are both open to visitors! After a brief closure to the Farm Shop earlier this year, fans can now visit again and make a trip to the idyllic Cotswolds. The exact location of the Farm Shop is 5-12 Chipping Norton Road, Chadlington, Chipping Norton, OX7 3PE. Once there, fans will be able to experience some of the key locations featured on the Clarkson-fronted show. While visiting the site, many will hope to catch a glimpse of the rising stars of the show, including fan favourite Kaleb Cooper, straight-man and farm management consultant Charlie Ireland, the humorous Gerald Cooper, plus farm shop front-woman and Jezza's partner, Lisa Hogan. The iconic shop has become a public attraction since it opened, with thousands flocking to it each year, much to the dislike of some of the community. For visitors coming from outside the Cotswolds, the trip can take two hours from central London by car, or two and a half hours by public transport. If fans are staying nearby there is the X9 bus from The Bell Hotel in Charlbury that will take them straight past the 1000 acres site and near the Farm Shop. 3 Queues are a common feature at the popular farm shop in the Cotswolds Credit: SWNS Previously, the farm also had a functioning restaurant on location called The Big View Café, but this was shut down due to excessive traffic. In response, this series of the hit show followed the former Top Gear presenter's trials and tribulations of trying to open a pub. Viewers watched each episode as Jeremy struggled to find a suitable pub for his new venture, despite the sheer number of venues available. Finally, Jeremy found a pub, which was formerly known as the Windmill, and renovated and renamed it to the Farmer's Dog. The latest weapon in Jeremy's farming armoury is located off the Asthall Barrow Roundabout, Burford OX18 4HJ. As it is a working farm, visitors are best to stick to the Farm Shop and Pub - so do not expect to see Jeremy riding around in his infamous Lamborghini tractor. 3 The renamed pub opened last year and is already a popular destination Credit: Adrian Sherratt What can you expect at The Farmer's Dog? The pub, which champions British farmers, is sure to be on top of fans' bucket lists. Jeremy's main reason behind opening the pub was that he wanted everything to come from British farms within a certain radius, so don't expect to see any Heinz ketchup on offer. Instead, visitors to the pub can treat themselves to the steak pie, ham hock terrine, rhubarb crumble, and a wide range of other menu items, all knowing that it has come from local farmers. Since the pub opened, it has been extremely busy, and after the show aired, its popularity has soared. And so, for fans hoping to pay a visit in the near future, you may have to wait a while. Bookings for the new Oxfordshire landmark open each month but get snapped up fast, with forums set up on social media helping fans get their chance to visit.

Urgent recall of milk over fears it contains deadly E. coli bacteria

An urgent recall has been issued for a popular farm shop's milk over fears it could be contaminated with a deadly bacterium. Kenneth Hanna's Farm Shop in Northern Ireland has recalled its raw Jersey milk after a product containing E. coli contaminated it. The Food Standards Agency said: 'The possible presence of STEC in this product. 'Symptoms caused by STEC (E. Coli) organisms include severe diarrhoea (including bloody diarrhoea), abdominal pain, and sometimes haemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS), a serious condition that can lead to kidney failure and can be fatal.' The recall is only in effect in Northern Ireland, but customers who purchased the milk have been told to return it or throw it away. It applies to two-litre bottles, with all use-by and batch codes affected. If a customer is experiencing symptoms of E. coli infection, they should stay away from places such as work, nursery and others for at least 48 hours to avoid sharing the germs. More Trending The warning comes days after a health food shop recalled one of its products over fears it could have been contaminated with E. coli. Grape Tree issued a recall of Raw Unsalted Macadamia Nuts because Shiga toxin-producing E. coli has been found in one of its batches. The store is warning customers who have bought the affected batch, which has a batch code of G41 5 101 250610, not to eat it. The recall affects 250g packs of the nuts, which have a best-before date of July 11, 2026. Get in touch with our news team by emailing us at webnews@ For more stories like this, check our news page. A point-of-sale notice has been hung in the farm store that was selling the milk. STEC (Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli ) is a specific type of E. coli that produces Shiga toxins, which are potent biological toxins that can cause severe illness in humans. Advertisement Most read in The Sun E. coli O157:H7 is the most well-known STEC strain and is often linked to foodborne outbreaks from undercooked beef, raw produce, or unpasteurized dairy. Symptoms of an STEC infection typically begin 3–4 days after exposure but can range from 1 to 10 days. Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (HUS) occurs in 5–10 percent of STEC cases, especially in young children and the elderly. Symptoms of HUS include pale skin, fatigue, decreased urination, swelling. Advertisement HUS can lead to kidney failure, and in rare cases, death. In the UK, the number of food product recalls varies year on year and are affected by consumer trends, legislative changes and tech developments. In 2023, the FSA reported a 21 percent drop in recalls from 2022. However, in 2024 the number of products marked as not fit for consumption was 2.5 higher than 2023. Advertisement What are the symptoms of an E. coli infection? Escherichia coli O157, sometimes called STEC (Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli), is a bacterial infection that can cause severe stomach pain, bloody diarrhoea and kidney failure. The NHS lists the symptoms as: Occasionally fever About half of people with the infection will have bloody diarrhoea. People usually notice symptoms three to four days after they' ve been infected. But symptoms can start any time between one and 14 days afterwards. These symptoms can last up to two weeks. A small number of people with E. coli O157 infection go on to develop a serious condition called haemolytic uraemic syndrome (HUS). Symptoms of HUS include: Peeing less Tiredness Swelling Bruising This can sometimes lead to kidney failure and death, although this is rare. The risk of HUS is highest in children aged under five years. Some people become infected but don't develop symptoms. Speak to your GP if you or your child has diarrhoea and: It's particularly frequent or severe It lasts for more than seven days A severe or continuous stomach ache Weight loss Have passed a large amount of very watery diarrhoea Have signs of dehydration – including drowsiness, peeing less than usual, and feeling lightheaded or dizzy If you or your child has bloody diarrhoea contact your GP practice and ask for an urgent appointment or call NHS 111. Advocates claim it's a natural superfood, packed with gut-friendly bacteria, enzymes, and nutrients supposedly destroyed by pasteurisation. Some have claimed that it helps with allergies and digestion issues, with some believing it supports the immune system. But raw milk can be a double-edged sword, as is the case here. As well as and STEC, Listeria, and Salmonella can also be found in raw cow's milk. 2 Untreated milk can sometimes pose as a risk for nasties Credit: Getty

Fans queue for more than an hour for reopening of Jeremy Clarkson's farm shop

FANS queued for more than an hour to visit the reopening of Jeremy Clarkson's Farm Shop this weekend. Diddly Squat Farm Shop, which sells produce made on the former Top Gear presenter's farm in Chadlington, had been closed for two months. The store's Instagram page advertised its reopening, delighting fans across the country and the world. WAIT: Visitors and fans queued for more than an hour. (Image: SWNS) The shop reopened on Saturday (March 1). In the queue were Sarah Drayton and Michael Tustin who were visiting for the first time from Worcestershire. Ms Drayton said: 'We have been watching it on the television. I just like everything, it's just brilliant. 'It's really hard to pick a favourite on the show but probably Kaleb. "I just think he's really funny, he's really light-hearted, the bond with Jeremy and Kaleb is really funny. The queues snaked around the car park. (Image: SWNS) "The countryside is lovely.' Many of the people attending on Saturday first became interested in the farm through Clarkson's Amazon Prime series about day-to-day life on the farm, featuring a host of beloved characters including farmer Kaleb Cooper. Visitors came from far and wide, including Spain and India, to get a glimpse of the countryside and items available. They were not deterred by long wait-times and queued for up to an hour and a half to enter the tiny shop and look around. The infamous £200 pies that stirred up controversy last year were absent from this year's selection, but smaller pork pies were on sale for £7.20. REOPENING: It was a long wait for visitors. (Image: SWNS) 'Jeremy's' sausages and bacon were available, well as 'Diddly' eggs for £4.20, a range of cheeses, homemade pesto and pates and milkshakes and homemade apple juice from Clarkson's orchard. Farmer's hand soap was on sale for £6.80 and little sheep figurines for £6.50. Greetings cards displaying Clarkson and fan-favourite farmer Cooper were available, as were condiments and sweet treats. Cow juice vodka was sold for £35 and honey-infused spirits and Le Pop sparkling wine were available. Miss Goulding, a lash tech, said she anticipated a more rural change of scenery from her hometown and a "wholesome" atmosphere. She said: 'We watch the show. My boyfriend loves it and he's so jealous that I am here today. 'This is my first time [visiting]. I think it will be nice and fun, the weather is lovely too. 'I love [Clarkson]. I think Kaleb's really funny as well. And I think, bless them, they tried hard and some of it didn't really work out, did it? 'But it's nice to see they did a good job.'
