Abdullah bin Zayed holds talks with FMs on ongoing developments

During these calls, the UAE top diplomat reviewed the current regional situation with H.H. Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan; Dr. Fuad Hussein, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq; Giorgos Gerapetritis, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece; Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates of the Kingdom of Morocco; Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait; Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman; Dr. Constantinos Kombos, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus; and Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The discussions addressed the repercussions of the current situation on the security and stability of the region and the world, and the ways to intensify efforts to de-escalate tensions and prevent the expansion of the conflict in the Middle East. The calls also emphasised the importance of resolving outstanding issues through dialogue and diplomatic means, while working closely to establish regional security and peace.

Saudi FM Arrives in Damascus Accompanied by High-Level Economic Delegation

Basant Ahmed Saudi Foreign Minister (FM) Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah and the high-level accompanying economic delegation arrived today in the Syrian capital, Damascus, on an official visit. The high-level economic delegation includes Mohammed bin Mazyad Al-Tuwaijri, Advisor at the Royal Court; Abdulmohsen bin Saad Al-Khalaf, Deputy Minister of Finance; Dr. Abdullah bin Ali Al-Dubaikhi, Assistant Minister of Investment; Abdullah bin Fahd bin Zaraa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Economic and Development Affairs; as well as several officials from various sectors. During the visit, Saudi FM is scheduled to meet with President Ahmed Al-Shara, the President of the Syrian Republic. OIC Holds Meeting between Ministerial Committee on Gaza with Madrid Group, Several European Countries

Mohamed Mandour Members of the Ministerial Committee Assigned by the Joint Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit on Developments in Gaza held an expanded meeting in Madrid, the capital of Spain. The meeting was chaired by His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan; Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the Arab League; His Excellency Hissein Brahim Taha, Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation; and Dr. Nuh Yılmaz, Deputy Foreign Minister of Türkiye, including the Madrid Group and a number of European countries. The meeting addressed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, as well as international efforts to end the war and alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Discussions also focused on preparations for the upcoming high-level international conference on the peaceful resolution of the Palestinian issue and the implementation of the two-state solution, to be held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City in June. The conference will be co-chaired by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the French Republic. The committee members underscored the importance of joint cooperation to ensure the success of the high-level international conference, stressing the need for clear commitments and tangible political, economic, and security support. They reaffirmed the importance of implementing the two-state solution based on relevant international resolutions, ensuring the legitimate right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state along the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital. The committee also commended the efforts of the Madrid Group and European nations in supporting the pursuit of a just and lasting peace. The members expressed hope for the success of the Qatari-Egyptian-American mediation efforts to secure the release of hostages. They emphasized the urgent need to end the blockade on the Gaza Strip, to open all crossings immediately and unconditionally, and to ensure the continuous delivery of humanitarian, relief, and medical aid to meet the needs of the population. The members of the Ministerial Committee reaffirmed their condemnation of the repeated violations committed by the Israeli occupation authorities against civilians in the Gaza Strip. Saudi FM Arrives in Madrid to Participate in Expanded Meeting on Gaza

Nada Mustafa Saudi Foreign Minister (FM) Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah arrived in Madrid, the capital of Spain, to participate in the expanded meeting on Gaza. The Saudi FM intends to participate in the expanded meeting of the Ministerial Committee appointed by the Extraordinary Joint Arab-Islamic Summit on developments in the Gaza Strip, the Madrid Group, and a number of European countries. The meeting is scheduled to discuss developments in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, as well as international efforts to stop the war and end the humanitarian suffering in the Strip.
