Roma could consider Premier League offers for Ndicka
Roma are forced to move on the outgoing market before being able to invest, and the name of Evan Ndicka is back in the news. As reported by Il Messaggero, the Ivorian defender could guarantee a capital gain of close to 40 million euros, essential to settle the accounts in compliance with Financial Fair Play. Advertisement Several Premier League clubs have their eyes on him, including Newcastle and Manchester United, even if the initial intention of the Giallorossi is to keep the prized pieces and sacrifice only secondary elements such as Shomurodov or Paredes. Faced with a concrete offer and budgetary needs, however, the management, now led by Frederic Massara, could also evaluate the possibility of a painful but necessary farewell.

Tottenham Hotspur Launch A Move For This Serie A Defender: Should Spurs Snap Him Up?
In a recent report, RMC Sport stated that Tottenham Hotspur have launched a move for AS Roma defender Evan Ndicka. It has been mentioned that Spurs are hoping to get a deal done for the Ivory Coast centre-back this summer. Ndicka's Impressive Season In Serie A Ndicka had a solid campaign at the Italian club as he managed to produce a handful of impressive performances at the heart of their defence last season. The Ivory Coast international made 51 appearances for Roma in the previous campaign, scoring one goal and grabbing a couple of assists across various competitions. Advertisement The 25-year-old was a rock at the back for Roma and did well to make 32 tackles, 46 blocks and 33 interceptions for his current club in Serie A last season. He even distributed possession accurately from the back after completing 92.1% of his attempted passes in top-flight football (stats via His current deal at AS Roma will run out in the summer of 2028 which could make it difficult for Spurs to sign him on the cheap this off-season. (Photo by) Should Tottenham Hotspur Snap Ndicka Up This Summer? Ndicka is a solid tackler of the ball and can scan the danger well to earn possession back for his team inside his half. He usually puts his foot through the ball when the opposition are on the front foot and can use his towering 1.92m frame to win his fair share of aerial duels. Advertisement However, only time will tell whether the Ivory Coast defensive ace can cope with the high intensity of the Premier League if Tottenham manage to bring him on board this summer. Ndicka would add more bite and steel to the North London club's backline. He has what it takes to challenge for a regular starting spot at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next season. At 25, Ndicka has his peak years ahead of him which makes him a decent choice for Spurs to pursue in this transfer window. He might even help Tottenham compete across all fronts over the next few years. With all things considered, Spurs should focus on snapping Ndicka up ahead of the new campaign. However, the North London club needs to be patient before they can get the best out of the talented centre-back.

Man Utd and Spurs turn attention to Arsenal-linked Roma centre-back
Manchester United and Tottenham are both interested in Roma centre-back Evan Ndicka, who has already caught the attention of Arsenal, according to reports. The 25-year-old defender has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, even before he joined Roma from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023. The Ivory Coast international instead moved to the Italian capital on a free transfer, signing a five-year contract. Since then he has become a key figure in the Roma starting XI, making 85 appearances in just two seasons, scoring once. Ndicka was named in the Bundesliga Team of the Season in his final year with Frankfurt and in the Serie A Team of the Season this season with Roma. As Roma finished fifth in Serie A and had to settle for a return to the Europa League, the towering central defender continues to be linked with a move. Arsenal were linked with a move earlier this year, but were reportedly informed that Roma had no intention of letting Ndicka leave. That has not quelled speculation and reports from France – where Ndicka was born – have linked Manchester United and Tottenham with possible bids this summer. The report from RMC Sport, via French Football Weekly, states that Ndicka is valued at as little as €40m (£33.7m). However, that seems improbably low given the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Newcastle United have also been touted as interested parties. If Roma were to sanction a move then there would likely be a bidding way and Ndicka would have his pick of a string of huge clubs. In a recent interview with L'Equipe, the Ivorian refused to be drawn on rumours surrounding his future and insisted he remained fully committed to Roma. 'I'm not pretending that I don't see the rumours,' Ndicka told the French publication last month. But I have respect in Rome and I respect them 'I have three years remaining on my contract, we will see what happens later.' Manchester United are expected to have an extremely busy transfer window, both in terms of incomings and outgoings. More Trending Central defence is not their top priority, with both signings and sales in attack top of the to-do list. Their transfer budget and pull in the market was hampered badly by their defeat to Tottenham in the Europa League final, which saw Spurs grab the spot in the Champions League for the forthcoming season. Spurs are now expected to invest heavily, but first they must appoint a new manager after the sacking of Ange Postecoglou. Brentford boss Thomas Frank is expected to be hired as the Australian's replacement. Roma star makes decision on future after Arsenal transfer talks
Evan Ndicka is set to turn down strong interest from Arsenal to continue his stay at Roma. Ndicka arrived in Rome on a free transfer two years ago and has gone on to establish himself as a linchpin of the defence in that time. Such is his importance to the Giallorossi, Ndicka played every single minute of the club's Serie A campaign this term – becoming the first player to do so since as far back as 2004. However, there has been some speculation that Ndicka could be set to move on from Roma in the summer transfer window, with Paris Saint-Germain, Newcastle and Arsenal all credited with an interest in the 25-year-old centre-back. Reports earlier this month claimed the Gunners had made initial enquiries to gauge whether a move to the Emirates may be possible for the highly rated Ivory Coast international. Mikel Arteta is keen for defensive reinforcements to ease the pressure on William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes next season and Ndicka had been identified as a potential solution for the north Londoners. But according to Corriere dello Sport, Arsenal will likely be forced to search elsewhere for a new centre-half given Roma deem Ndicka to be one of their eight 'immovables'. Mile Svilar, Gianluca Mancini, Manu Kone, Niccolo Pisilli, Angelino, Paulo Dybala and Matias Soule also find themselves on that list and are expected to remain at the Stadio Olimpico beyond the summer. It's claimed Ndicka is seen as an 'essential points of reference' and is considered one of the 'two pillars' of the defence alongside Mancini – regardless of who takes over from Claudio Ranieri as head coach. The report adds that Ndicka wishes to continue his stay in the Italian capital and has already set his sights on repeating his extraordinary campaign in Serie A next term. Arsenal and PSG set to do battle again for £25m target as transfer talks emerge
Arsenal are weighing up a summer move for Roma defender Evan Ndicka but face competition from Champions League rivals PSG as well as Newcastle with the Ivorian attracting interest Arsenal and PSG could do battle this summer with both clubs keen on Roma defender Evan Ndicka. The Ivorian has continued to excel in the Italian capital and has made himself an ever present as his list of admirers grows. Ndicka has played every minute for Roma in Serie A this season but talk of his exit is ramping up. The 25-year-old moved to the Stadio Olympico on a free transfer from Frankfurt in 2023 and now Arsenal are considering him as a defensive option this summer. They will face competition from Newcastle though with Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport claiming the Magpies have also kept tabs on the player. As well as the Premier League duo PSG are also keen on Ndicka, who could cost anything between £25-34million. The Roma defender was born in Paris and began his career at one of the city's clubs before Auxerre landed him as a teenager. PSG have previously missed out on a number of players born in the French capital and have had to spend big to lure them back. It has been reported though that the north Londoners have held initial discussions to see whether Ndicka could be on the market as they look to bolster their defensive ranks. The Roma star has kept his options open when quizzed on his next move with several years to run on his deal. He recently told L'Equipe: "I'm not pretending that I don't see the rumours. But I have respect in Rome and I respect them. I have three years remaining on my contract, we will see what happens later." Arsenal are looking to ensure they have sufficient cover behind William Saliba and Gabriel, who is currently sidelined through injury. The Gunners have deployed Jakub Kiwior at centre-half but want to have quality cover should injury strike in the future. PSG meanwhile may look to bring in more quality alongside Marquinhos, who is the team's skipper and defensive leader. The Brazilian centre-half himself was signed from Roma more than a decade ago and has gone on to be one of the club's greatest ever players. They could yet go into the market with the tag of European champions having taken control of their semi-final against Arsenal. They secured a 1-0 with at the Emirates after Ousmane Dembele struck early and will back themselves to complete the job next week at the Parc des Princes.
