Man finds 'monster' foot long Greggs steak bake

A man was shocked to find a foot-long 'monster' pastry in Greggs after ordering a steak bake. Jonah Lynch, 27, said he had never seen 'anything like it' after finding the huge pasty, but still wolfed down the whole thing in one sitting. He recalled saying 'bloody hell, look at the size of that,' when spotting the snack in the Greggs branch in St Mellons industrial estate, Cardiff. Despite the snack's major size, Jonah purchased it for the normal price of £1.65. Jonah, who works as a customer advisor for the roofing company Euroclad, from Ebbw Vale, Wales, said: 'I went to Greggs just before work and I just picked up the two-in-one pack, thinking it would have two pasties like normal. 'But it was just one massive pasty. My coworker and I were both like 'What the hell? Is that one huge pasty?' Jonah had gone to the pastry shop with his coworker Tom, whom he said shouted, 'Jesus!' upon seeing the massive steak bake. He added: 'We both had never seen anything like it. It was literally double the size of a normal one. 'I ate it all in the morning anyway for breakfast. I was feeling pretty hungry. It was one of those days. Everyone at work said 'fair play'.' Greggs customers have been shocked – as well as pleasantly surprised – with what they find in their food. But one woman was upset when she found a 'moist' potato in her bag of crisps. More Trending A woman enjoying a packet of crisps on her lunch break was stunned to open it and find an entire potato inside. Lucy Benyon opened the £1.20 bag of Greggs Sea Salt and Cider Vinegar crisps on her lunch break and found an entire potato at the bottom. She contacted Greggs customer service to inform them about the mystery spud. She was offered a £15 voucher from the beloved bakery for the faulty bag of crisps. 'I was with my girlfriend at the time and ran to show her and my bosses who were hysterical. It was 100% inside and it was very soft, smelly and wet,' she recalled.
