F1 Rookie, 20, Takes the Casual Approach at the NYC ‘F1' Movie Premiere
F1 Rookie, 20, Takes the Casual Approach at the NYC 'F1' Movie Premiere originally appeared on Parade. Sometimes the casual approach is the best approach, proven tonight (June 16) by MoneyGram Haas F1 Team rookie Ollie Bearman at the F1 movie premiere in New York City. Opposite of his teammate, Esteban Ocon (who was arguably the most dressed-up driver at the function), Ollie donned a rather laid-back look at tonight's F1 movie premiere, opting for a white knit polo, a light blue linen blazer and khaki pants on the red carpet — or in this case, the gray carpet — tying the look together with some matching light blue sneakers. Although he was not dressed to the nines like some of the other F1 drivers, he still looked cute-as-can-be! Bearman did not attend the event alone, though, bringing his girlfriend, Alicia Stent-Torriani, as his date to tonight's F1 movie premiere. Like many of the other WAGs — Alexandra Saint Mleux, Hannah St. John, Flavy Barla, Isabela Bernardini, Eglė Ruškytė-Hülkenberg and more — Stent-Torriani stepped out in an all-black ensemble, contrasting her partner's light and bright look. The structured dress featured a straight-across neckline and a bow in the front, pairing the gorgeous gown with studded black shoes and oh-so dainty jewelry. While Bearman will not be a part of the film, Max Verstappen, Sergio Pérez, Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz Jr., Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri, Fernando Alonso, Lance Stroll, Pierre Gasly, Esteban Ocon, Valtteri Bottas, Zhou Guanyu, Nico Hülkenberg, Kevin Magnussen, Nyck de Vries, Daniel Ricciardo, Liam Lawson, Yuki Tsunoda, Logan Sargeant and Alex Albon will all make cameos in F1, with the British driver attending the movie premiere to simply show his support. Although Bearman will be greatly missed, the movie — directed by Joseph Kosinski, written by Ehren Kruger and starring Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, Javier Bardem and more — is certain to be a smash hit nevertheless, centered around the life of Sonny Hayes (Pitt), a fictional F1 driver from 1990s who retired after a terrible accident, revisiting the racing world to join rookie Joshua 'Noah' Pearce (Idris) on the on the Apex Grand Prix team (APXGP). With this in mind, be sure to mark your calendars — F1 will hit theaters on June 27, and it is a movie that you will truly not want to miss. Fans Can't Stop Talking About This Driver's Oh-So Sharp ‘F1' Movie Premiere Look
Fans Can't Stop Talking About This Driver's Oh-So Sharp 'F1' Movie Premiere Look originally appeared on Parade. You can never go wrong with a classic red carpet look, and one F1 driver definitely took that to heart tonight (June 16). Although his cameo in F1 might be microscopic, that did not stop MoneyGram Haas F1 Team driver Esteban Ocon from stealing the show at tonight's F1 movie premiere in the Big Apple. Aside from Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber rookie Gabriel Bortoleto, he might have been the best-dressed driver at the event, but we'll let you be the judge of that... With his stunning girlfriend by his side, Flavy Barla, Ocon opted for a classy black suit with a matching black bowtie and dress shoes for the F1 movie premiere. His partner understood the assignment as well, with Barla also rocking an all-black ensemble that hugged her curves, featuring cutouts that were the perfect combination of sexy and sleek. Accessorizing the outfit, the medical student-turned-influencer rocked white pumps and a white clutch, as well as gold statement earrings. Given how good both individuals looked, Ocon and Barla might just need to take home the 'cutest couple' award! Despite having a date night on the red carpet — or should we say gray carpet? — the French driver definitely got to spend some time with the rest of the 2025 Formula One grid as well, even stopping to pose for a picture with his teammate, rookie Ollie Bearman, warming the hearts of Formula One fans all across the globe. For those who are unfamiliar, Max Verstappen, Sergio Pérez, Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz Jr., Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri, Fernando Alonso, Lance Stroll, Pierre Gasly, Valtteri Bottas, Zhou Guanyu, Nico Hülkenberg, Kevin Magnussen, Nyck de Vries, Daniel Ricciardo, Liam Lawson, Yuki Tsunoda, Logan Sargeant and Alex Albon — in addition to Ocon — will all make cameos in F1. Aside from seeing our favorite drivers for a split second, Formula One fans can expect to major drama, action and even romance when F1 hits theaters on June 27. As for what the plot will actually entail, the film — starring Brad Pitt, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, Javier Bardem and more — is centered around the life of Sonny Hayes (Pitt), a fictional F1 driver who raced in the 1990s and was forced to retire after a terrible accident, who comes out of retirement to mentor rookie Joshua 'Noah' Pearce (Idris) as his teammate. Directed by Joseph Kosinski and written by Ehren Kruger — with Formula One's very own Lewis Hamilton serving as a producer — F1 is sure to be a movie to remember. Needless to say, we are already counting down the days until June 27... Haas driver Esteban Ocon says it's frustrating in his place: 'When I look back on all the other drivers of my generation…'
Image credit: Esteban Ocon/Instagram Esteban Ocon moved from Alpine to Haas this season but is yet to secure a podium for his new team. It seems the Formula 1 driver is now getting a bit impatient and restless while feeling the absence of a race-winning car. He is from the generation of Max Verstappen, who is already the reigning number one champion and, this year too, is aiming for a championship win with two victories in his kitty already. This is making Ocon even more frustrated. Esteban Ocon on his desire to have a race-winning car Sharing his feelings on falling short of what's needed for a race win or at least a shot at the podium, Esteban Ocon told in an interview, "It is frustrating, yes, when I look back on all the other drivers of my generation, they've all had a shot at a race-winning car at one point.' 'I'm probably the only one who's never really had the chance to drive one of these cars, but I believe with the right work ethic, how much I put into questioning myself, what I can do better. The amount of work I put in, between the factory, the simulator, with the engineers, and doing a good job on track, it will eventually come at one point,' he added. The Haas driver is still waiting for a race-winning car like Ferrari while currently standing in 10th position in the 2025 Formula 1 Driver Standings with 20 points. It is good to be here fighting in the midfield, but my aim is to be fighting for wins, poles, and championships in the future, or championships at least once. But at the moment, it is not where we are, and we need to be doing the best to score points every race if we can," he said.
