CM Punk to Charlotte Flair: 7 wrestlers missing from the WWE Money in the Bank 2025 list
WWE Money in the Bank (MITB) is back. John Cena and Cody Rhodes will be in a massive tag team as part of the show and a Women's Intercontinental Championship between Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria has also been announced apart from the traditional ladder matches. Despite these progresses, a couple of key names seem to be missing from the roll of players who will have a shot at grabbing the briefcase on top of the ring. CM Punk Perhaps the biggest shocker for MITB fans came when WWE legend CM Punk was missing from the list of those scheduled to compete. Punk's decades-long feud with Seth Rollins could be a potential contributing factor to this, although no confirmation has been provided for the same. Sami Zayn Sami Zayn's defeat in Saturday Night's Main Event has led to him being kicked out of the MITB championship this year. However, his creative team's claims of preparing him for something much bigger leave room open for Zayn to be part of a tag team against Seth Rollins' faction at SummerSlam. Charlotte Flair Although there are no personal feuds pending to Charlotte Flair's name, her loss at the qualifying match on the blue brand and dearth of matches in the ring have left MITB out of her plans this year. Jacob Fatu United States breakout champion Jacob Fatu has things going as well as they could be. His work on the blue brand and recent performance left many puzzled as to why Fatu was left off the roll for no reason but he doesn't seem to be in any urgent need of MITB fame as well. Finn Balor Finn Balor lost his qualifying match to Seth Rollins. Despite his numerous television appearances, the industry still hasn't granted him sufficient premium live event opportunities. Fans are still hopeful of the possibility that WWE might include Balor in the SummerSlam. Liv Morgan As one-half of the reigning Women's Tag Team Champions, Liv Morgan's absence from MITB seems to stem from her Judgement Day drama. Reports suggest that the possibility of Dominik Mysterio betraying her to partner up with Roxanne Perez is not off the table. Morgan is scheduled for a feud against Iyo Sky soon. Jade Cargill A feud with Naomi and Tiffany Stratton and a loss in the qualifying match against the former seems to have put MITB out of Jade Cargill's cards. Her return at Elimination Chamber 2025 and a blue brand moment at WrestleMania were recent successes in Cargill's career. Many speculate that she may still be present at the MITB match to lower Naomi's chances of winning. The championship is scheduled to take place on Saturday (June 7) at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California at 7:00 PM ET (4:00 PM PT).

John Cena to win the Money in the Bank match 2025 despite not being an advertised participant? All we know
The Money in the Bank match 2025 is around the corner, and it has the potential to change careers. The men's contest will see LA Knight, Solo Sikoa, Andrade, Penta, Seth Rollins and El Grande Americano locking horns for the coveted briefcase. However, in a weird twist, John Cena may win the match despite not even being an advertised participant . John Cena to win the Money in the Bank match? John Cena turned heel at Elimination Chamber 2025 on The Rock's instructions and vowed to 'ruin' wrestling on his way out of the business. He then beat Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 to capture the Undisputed title. At Saturday Night's Main Event, 'The Franchise Player' set his sights on the World Heavyweight Championship and tried to cost the reigning champion Jey Uso his match against Logan Paul but his plan was foiled by 'QB1'. Cena could not try to make life difficult for 'The Yeet Master' by winning the briefcase and cashing in on him. This could create a situation where he walks away with both the Undisputed and the Heavyweight belts when he retires from in-ring competition later this year. Cena is not a participant in the match but could be added to it at the last minute on The Rock's instructions. 'The Final Boss' is a board member of TKO, which (in storyline) could explain the move. Cody Rhodes recently mentioned 'The Great One' on SmackDown, suggesting that he could return to WWE programming somewhere down the line. Interestingly, if Cena does indeed win the contract it won't be the first time that an unannounced participant walks away with the briefcase, which guarantees the holder a shot at the Undisputed or World Heavyweight title. Brock Lesnar had previously entered the match unannounced and emerged victorious. That said, the angle with Cena is purely speculative at this point. Are you ready for the Money in the Bank event? Cena, meanwhile, will be teaming up with Logan Paul to take on Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso at the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event. The show will be aired on Netflix in India on June 8. The card also features the likes of Naomi, Becky Lynch, and Stephanie Vaquer. Stay ahead of the game with the latest updates, match highlights, and insider stories from IPL, cricket, WWE, and more! Bully Ray Wants John Cena To Take Credit For R-Truth Getting Fired By WWE
Bully Ray wants John Cena to take credit for R-Truth getting fired by WWE. The pro wrestling world is struggling to get over Truth's departure from WWE. Truth (aka Ron Killings) announced his exit from the company this past weekend, revealing the company was not going to renew his contract. Advertisement The announcement triggered a wave of reaction on social media, with fans and peers expressing their shock and disappointment. John Cena, whom Truth faced in what turned out to be his send-off match, also reacted to the high-profile release. During a recent episode of Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray pitched a notorious angle involving John Cena, noting it could give credibility to Cena's attempt to ruin wrestling for everyone. Bully Ray's pitch involves The Rock as well 'At the press conference a couple of weeks ago, before Cena put truth through the table, he said, you know, 'Ron, I've never liked you,' Bully said. 'If this whole true thing is legit and he's getting [let go] and they're not renewing his contract, or as he says, released. I put John Cena on TV with a microphone in his hand and I say, and he says I never liked Ron Killings. Advertisement ''Ron Killings was released because of me. I'm ruining it. I said I was going to ruin wrestling. I'm ruining it for you fans. You loved this guy. I know you love this guy. I called The Rock. The Rock released Ron Killings. End of story. You want you got a problem with it? Write a letter.' For those unaware, John Cena turned heel and aligned with The Rock at Elimination Chamber 2025. The pair, alongside Travis Scott, destroyed Cody Rhodes at the PLE. While The Fina Boss didn't appear at WrestleMania, Cena did defeat Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship after Scott's interfered to cause a distraction for the American Nightmare.
