Ahmed Abd El Wahab Guest Stars in Upcoming Film Ahmed W Ahmed
Ahmed Abd El Wahab. Ahmed Abd El Wahab makes a special guest appearance in the upcoming film Ahmed W Ahmed, which he also co-wrote alongside Karim Sami Kimz. The film is set for theatrical release on July 2. Starring Ahmed El Sakka, Ahmed Fahmy, and Ahmed Abd El Wahab, the film boasts a star-studded cast and is directed by Ahmed Nader Galal. The screenplay is written by Ahmed Darwish and Mohamed Abdallah Samy, with creative supervision by Ahmed Abd El Wahab and Karim Sami Kimz. Yara Sameh Egyptian actress Aya Samaha is set to star alongside actor and screenwriter Ahmed Fahmy in the comedy TV series "Ibn El Nady." Karim Saad is directing the series from a script by Mohab Tarek. TVision is the studio behind the drama. "Ibn El Nady" is a Shahid original content that focuses on the world of Egyptian football through the life of Omar El Sheshtawy, a spoiled rich kid with a unique kind of smarts whose life takes a wild turn. The drama marks Fahmy's comeback to the small screen after two years of absence. He made his last appearance in the 2023 TV shows "Safah Al Giza" and "Sero El Batea". Samaha, meanwhile, made her last appearance on the small screen in the social-comedy TV series " El Captain ". Samaha, born on March 31, 1992, started her acting career with the 2016 film "Hepta: The Last Lecture" and received more onscreen time in the 2016 mystery TV series "Grand Hotel". Samaha is currently busy filming the horror TV series "Zorouf Ghamda", in which she stars opposite Amir Karara. El Le'ba Season 5 to Begin Filming in July Ahead of September Release
The original cast, including Chico, Hesham Maged, and Mai Kassab will return for the new season. Apr 26, 2025 Director Moataz El Tony has announced that filming for the fifth season of the comedy series El Le'ba will begin in July 2025, with its release scheduled for September on digital platforms. The original cast - including Chico, Hesham Maged, Ahmed Fathi, Mohamed Tharwat, Mai Kassab, Mirna Gamil, Sami Maghawry, and Arefa Abdel Rasoul - will return for the new season. The series is written by Ahmed Saad Wali, Ibrahim Saber, and Mohamed Salah Khattab, and directed by El Tony. El Tony also achieved notable success during Ramadan 2025 with his series El Captain, starring Akram Hosny, and is currently preparing for a new film project, Zawgat Ragol Mesh Mohem, featuring Akram Hosny and Yasmine Abdel Aziz.

Egyptian actress May Elghety to star in upcoming Hollywood film ‘The Mummy'
Young Egyptian actress May Elghety is making a strong splash into the world of international cinema, having been selected to star in the upcoming supernatural horror film 'The Mummy'. The Mummy is directed by Lee Cronin, and the latest installment in the titular franchise. Cronin confirmed that this film will be radically different from previous mummy films, delving deep into history to extract something truly ancient and frightening. Cronin added that Elghety was the perfect fit for the role, noting that he had been searching for her for six months, during the preparation period for the film, which will be shot between Ireland and Spain. Elghety's first British film, 'Due Dating' (2025), recently premiered in London. She plays Persia, the ex-girlfriend of the film's protagonist, Cole (played by Rowland Stirling), who drives him crazy after she meets someone else. This romantic comedy was directed by Daniel Pacquette, and stars Alex Crockford and Jourdan Amelia Storey. It premiered in London and will be released worldwide later.
