HK Star Edison Chen Has Confrontation With Flight Attendant Over Alleged Unfair Treatment
Hong Kong star Edison Chen (陈冠希) is notorious for his bad temper but has mellowed out since becoming a father. However, the star recently got into a heated argument with a flight attendant. A XiaoHongShu user recently shared an incident involving a Chinese passenger on a flight from Japan to New York on 1st June 2025. According to the user, after the plane arrived at the airport, the cabin crew prepared to disembark a Japanese VIP off the plane first. But the Chinese passenger was dissatisfied with the different treatment and began arguing with the flight attendant. The flight attendant tried to explain the situation, saying the VIP was a Diamond Card holder and had priority to disembark first. However, the Chinese passenger retaliated, saying, 'You said he's a VIP, right? Please look at my boarding pass, I am a Diamond Card member. Tell me, what is the difference between him and me?!'. At one point during the argument, the Chinese passenger even yelled out, 'I'm going to file a complaint, and I'll make you lose your job!'. While the XiaoHongShu post never disclosed the identity of the Chinese passenger, netizens suspect him to be Edison Chen based on the voice recording provided. The public figure also posted about a flight on the day of the incident, solidifying the suspicions. After the issue went viral, Edison Chen's agency posted a statement confirming the allegations. However, the agency also shared the actor's side of the story to provide clarity. According to the agency, after the plane landed, passengers at the back of the flight were in a hurry to disembark. Edison Chen, trying to get to his luggage, had calmly asked if he would take his luggage from the overhead compartment. However, the flight attendant said that a Diamond Card member passenger needed to disembark first, which was when the viral 'fight' started. The agency explained that since Edison Chen is also a diamond card member, he was puzzled by the flight attendant's explanation, leading to the misunderstanding. However, the agency said the star is continuously communicating with the airline over the matter and asked the public to avoid spreading misinformation. Meanwhile, Edison has yet to address the issue. Unfortunately, flights can bring out the worst in you. Of course, we don't condone his alleged actions, but perhaps Edison Chen was voicing his frustration with the situation. What are your thoughts on this? 25 Things To Make Your Patio The Place To Be
A triangular sail that'll bring your backyard some much-needed shade *and* drop the temperature a few degrees so you can actually enjoy the outdoors instead of worrying about sprouting a sweat stache. Some connectable Edison bulb string lights so you can make your backyard look like your favorite outdoor beer garden — and your guests will love that there's no cover charge! Solar-powered light-up flowers sure to add some whimsy to any outdoor space. And since they're cordless, you don't have to worry about being in proximity of an outlet. A massive inflatable screen from which you can watch all your fave programs. Bust this out for all of your summer Love Island viewings, and I guarantee no one will be late. A terrazzo firepit so you can partake in your fave outdoor pastime: making s'mores! It sure beats cooking 'em over a regular stove — let me tell you that. A canopy swing that basically looks like a Fisher-Price baby rocker — just for adults. If only it came with a motor to automatically rock you to sleep... A three-piece patio set with enough room for a small charcuterie spread and bottle of chilled white wine. You know, just ~summer~ stuff. A weatherproof outdoor Wi-Fi extender you can easily mount outdoors so you can take your WFH setup and convert it into a WFO (work from outside) setup without worrying about your internet speed. A pair of gravity lounge chairs so you can stretch out in ergonomic fashion. After being bent over your laptop all day like a lil' gremlin, it can do wonders for your lower back! An outdoor area rug that'll add some pizzazz to your patio if otherwise, it's just a bland slab of concrete. A fully adjustable portable backyard mister you can coil along a railing or umbrella or even just prop up on the ground next to you. It might not look like much, but it can cool areas off by up to 20 degrees! A compact Weber grill if you don't have a ton of outdoor space but do have super-size grilling ambitions. A three-piece bar set you can stock with everything you need to whip up tropical drinks. Don't forget the tiny umbrella toothpicks!! An umbrella light that'll provide overhead light so you can continue your al fresco gossip sesh long after sunset. Some crowd-pleasing flame colorant, so when you run out of s'mores ingredients... you can still get guests to stick around. An oversized egg chair you'll soon be treating like your very own throne. My advice? Snatch up any and all bells in the house rn so you can summon your roommates/family/significant other to grab you lemonade and grapes. Some solar-powered, round garden lights you can pop on your tabletop, in your garden beds, or along your pool for added ambiance. Squint your eyes and it's almost like you're at a resort in Cabo. A quilted hammock because taking a nap outdoors just hits different — especially when you're laying on something as comfortable and plush as a mattress topper. A magnetic barbecue light that'll make it easy to check in on the progress of your burgers and dogs — no phone flashlight necessary. A weather-resistant cedar pathway you can use to connect your patio to other outdoor areas like your garden or hot tub. A 2-in-1 cooler table so you don't have to make several trips to the kitchen when you're ready for another Topo Chico hard seltzer. Just load it up with ice and you can dump a 12-pack in, easy peasy. A weather-resistant end table where you can place your emotional support iced coffee. Sometimes I don't even feel like caffeine, but I like having it anyway. Not sure if that's just a me thing or not, but 🤷♀️. An indoor/outdoor bean bag you can sink into once you've scooped up the best burger of the bunch + added a healthy handful of Doritos to your BBQ-approved paper plate. A foldable cabana chair that looks like something you'd lounge on at a far-flung resort. So what if you only have three square feet of backyard space?? This baby will transform it. A patterned indoor/outdoor ottoman so durable, you can kick up your feet — shoes and all — without worrying about staining it or being yelled at by your mom for *potentially* staining it.

Edison graduates enjoy one more concert together
The graduates of Edison High School gathered in the corner of 'Cap' Sheue Field on Thursday afternoon to vibe to music. An Edison High musical group comprised of Saxon Baltzer, Ava Coggins, Kayla Do, Koa Hord, Sam Johnson and Nathan Lopez performed 'Revival,' by Zach Bryan. The song definitely encourages dancing, so the Chargers got one last dance in together before heading out into the world as the Class of 2025. Edison graduated 430 students during the ceremony. Edison ASB President Ben Berger shared remarks with the crowd. 'As difficult as the low points or the not-so-fun times of high school were, I can say I wouldn't trade them for the world,' Berger said. 'Seating charts that placed me farther from my friends brought me closer to new ones. My time spent riding the bench on [the] baseball [team] may not have been so fun, but I grew my friendships and character through those inactive innings.' Tobias Robertson and Kyle Huang were the other student speakers for Edison, while the Edison choir performed the national anthem. Edison Principal Danny Morris honored the magna cum laude and summa cum laude graduates, who were wearing gold gowns, as well as eight who will be enlisting in the military following graduation. 'Thank you to all in the stands for being here today, one last time before it's time to go,' Morris said. 'Thank you for the early mornings, the late nights, the pep talks and even the tough love. Graduates, they have been your ride-or-die squad since day one, and no matter how far you go from here, they'll always be your home team.' — Daily Pilot Staff
