Florida sheriff fires off blunt message to violent anti-Trump protesters: 'We will kill you graveyard dead'
A Florida sheriff has issued a stern warning to protesters planning violence towards law enforcement officials as the United States braces for a wave of anti-Trump administration demonstrations. Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey cautioned against violent behavior during the upcoming "No Kings" protests expected across the country this weekend during a news conference alongside Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier. "Throw a brick, firebomb or point a gun at one of our deputies, we will be notifying your family where to collect your remains at," Ivey said. "Because we will kill you graveyard dead. We're not going to play." Doj Warns Us Attorneys To Prepare For Criminal Investigations Ahead Of Nationwide Anti-trump Protests Uthmeier also weighed in on the upcoming protests, urging Floridians to prioritize their safety if they get caught in the middle of a demonstration. "If you're a family out there, you're driving and all of a sudden you get surrounded by one of these angry demonstrations that's turned violent," Uthmeier said. "You don't need to sit there and wait while people smash your window and damage your vehicle and put your family in jeopardy. Just drive, get yourself out of harm's way." Read On The Fox News App Ivey pointed to the ongoing chaos at anti-immigration protests throughout major cities across the country, before saying he "doesn't want to hear any whining later saying 'we didn't know.'" Anti-ice Riots Reveal The Left Has Learned Nothing. It's Just Handed Trump A Gift "As you watch these riots unfold across the country," Ivey said, "what you are seeing is buildings being burned down, police cars being bricked, having explosive devices thrown at them, having guns pointed at them, bricks thrown at them." Uthmeier went on to echo the statements from Ivey, adding, "we're grateful to have a great president and a governor that respects rule of law. In Florida, you're not going to see anything like you're seeing in California." The words of warning from officials come as authorities around the country are gearing up for a weekend of "No Kings" protests, which were organized by the 50501 Movement in response to President Donald Trump's inauguration earlier this year. The protests are scheduled to coincide with Trump's 79th birthday and an Army parade on Saturday, with organizers vowing the movement will remain peaceful. The 50501 Movement did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment. Newsom Says Los Angeles Rioters Will Be Prosecuted, Slams Trump For 'Traumatizing Our Communities' "President Trump wants tanks in the street and a made-for-TV display of dominance for his birthday," the organization's website states. "A spectacle meant to look like strength. But real power isn't staged in Washington. It rises up everywhere else." Officials are expecting two protests within Brevard County, according to Florida Today. "Florida will never be California," Uthmeier said in a statement to Fox News Digital. "Rioting is illegal in our state and our law enforcement are on full alert this weekend. If anyone participates in violent rioting, threatens or injures law enforcement, damages businesses or property or obstructs traffic, we will ensure you will see the back of a jail cell and prosecute you to the fullest. Florida stands by President Trump, ICE and the rule of law." The Brevard County Sheriff's Department did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment. Ivey closed the department's warning by acknowledging that peaceful protests "are part of our democracy." "Stand on the mountaintops and yell your opinion," Ivey said. "We invite that. But don't go breaking the law, because it won't go well for you."Original article source: Florida sheriff fires off blunt message to violent anti-Trump protesters: 'We will kill you graveyard dead'

Dem senators propose bill to punish El Salvador for ‘collusion' with Trump
Democratic Senators Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., Tim Kaine D-Va., and Alex Padilla, D-Calif., introduced legislation on Thursday to hold Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele and other Salvadoran leaders "accountable" for their alleged human rights abuses and for the country's "collusion with the Trump administration to imprison people from the United States without due process." Titled the El Salvador Accountability Act of 2025, the bill would impose property-blocking and visa sanctions on Bukele and other Salvadoran officials "who have engaged in international human rights violations or worked to deprive individuals residing in the United States of their rights under the U.S. Constitution." The measure would also block any U.S. funding to the Salvadoran government and instruct the U.S. to oppose international financial assistance being sent. This comes after the Trump administration sent over 200 illegal, alleged gang members to the infamous, high-security prison CECOT, which has served as a detainment facility for many of El Salvador's most notorious criminals. The move was met with staunch opposition by Democrats who accused the administration of depriving the illegal aliens removed of their due process rights. Democrats took particular issue with the deportation of illegal alien and suspected MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who was sent to the prison in March. Doj Charges Kilmar Abrego Garcia With Human Smuggling And Conspiracy Van Hollen was the first of several Democrats to fly to El Salvador to meet with Abrego Garcia and to advocate for his return to the U.S. Read On The Fox News App Abrego Garcia, whom the DOJ is prosecuting on human trafficking charges and who is also an alleged wife-beater, was returned to the U.S. on June 6 to stand trial. Van Hollen released a statement celebrating Abrego Garcia's return, saying, "This is not about the man, it's about his constitutional rights – and the rights of all." In a statement announcing the bill on Thursday, Van Hollen accused Bukele and the Salvadoran government of "colluding with the Trump Administration" by "taking American taxpayer dollars to imprison people as part of a scheme to violate their constitutional rights." Ag Bondi Details 'Very Serious Charges' Facing Kilmar Abrego Garcia "We must hold Bukele and his cronies accountable for these wrongful actions as well as for the gross violations of human rights they are committing in El Salvador," wrote Van Hollen. "We must send a clear signal that these injustices are unacceptable and must end," he said. Democrats Celebrate Return Of Suspected Human Trafficker Kilmar Abrego Garcia Padilla, who also flew to El Salvador to advocate for Abrego Garcia, commented on the legislation as well, saying that "imposing economic sanctions and visa restrictions on Bukele and his corrupt government is a necessary step to push El Salvador to finally uphold international human rights law and respect fundamental civil liberties." "We must hold Bukele and all responsible parties accountable for the suspension of constitutional rights and continued collusion with the Trump Administration to imprison people from the United States without due process," he added. Padilla was detained by authorities on Thursday after attempting to disrupt a press conference being held in Los Angeles by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security Tricia McLaughlin responded to the legislation in a statement to Fox News Digital in which she quipped: "Is this just another excuse for Senator Van Hollen to fly down to El Salvador on U.S. taxpayer's dime to dine with gang members and terrorists?" White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson also chimed in, telling Fox News Digital in an emailed statement that "Chris Van Hollen (D-Illegal Alien) continues to embarrass himself and betray his constituents by spending more time representing criminal illegal aliens than American citizens." "His taxpayer-funded vacation to El Salvador to sip margaritas with a terrorist, human-trafficker, and wife-beater wasn't enough – now he wants to keep more criminal illegals in American communities," Jackson remarked, adding "All Americans should be grateful for CECOT, which houses violent criminal illegal aliens who threaten the safety and security of everyone."Original article source: Dem senators propose bill to punish El Salvador for 'collusion' with Trump

President Trump responds to return of alleged gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia to US
President Donald Trump responded to the sudden return of Salvadoran illegal and alleged gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia, saying, "he's a bad guy" and that the courts will "show how horrible this guy is." Trump appeared unbothered by Abrego Garcia's return on Friday afternoon, telling reporters aboard Air Force One that the Department of Justice made the decision and that soon the world will see how "horrible" a person he is. Trump expressed confidence in the Doj and its case against Abrego Garcia. "The DOJ made a decision," he said, adding, "I think their decisions have been very, very good." 'The Five': Dems, Liberal Media Have Some 'Big Questions To Answer' After Kilmar Abrego Garcia Charged "Maybe they just said, 'Look, all of these people, these judges, they want to try and run the country.' A local judge trying to run the country," said Trump. "The man has a horrible past, and I could see a decision being made, bring him back, show everybody how horrible this guy is." Read On The Fox News App The president said, "Frankly, we have to do something because the judges are trying to take the place of a president that won in a landslide. That's not supposed to be the way it is. So, I can see bringing him back. I could see. He's a bad guy." The Trump administration deported Abrego Garcia, a 29-year-old illegal alien who was living in Maryland, to a high-security prison in his home country back in March on the grounds that he is a member of the violent MS-13 gang. Soon after his deportation, Democrats jumped to advocate for Abrego Garcia's release and return to the U.S., arguing that he was a wrongly deported "Maryland man." Dem Immigration Talking Points Fizzle As Dark Picture Of Abrego Garcia Emerges Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Friday that Abrego Garcia, 29, has landed in the United States and is set to face federal charges for human smuggling and conspiracy. "Abrego Garcia has landed in the United States to face justice," Bondi said. "A grand jury in the Middle District of Tennessee returned a sealed indictment charging him with alien smuggling and conspiracy." According to the indictment, Garcia played a "significant role" in a human smuggling ring operating for nearly a decade. Bondi described him as a full-time smuggler who made more than 100 trips, transporting women, children, and MS-13 gang-affiliated persons throughout the United States. Fox News Digital obtained Tennessee Highway Patrol bodycam footage from a 2022 traffic stop where troopers pulled over Garcia for speeding. Inside his vehicle were eight other men, raising immediate suspicions. "He's hauling these people for money," one trooper said. Watch: Ag Bondi Details 'Very Serious Charges' Facing Kilmar Abrego Garcia Troopers found $1,400 in cash and flagged Garcia in the National Crime Information Center, which returned a gang/terrorism alert. ICE was called but never responded. Though Democrats have also pushed a narrative that Abrego Garcia is a "family man," court records show Abrego Garcia's wife, Jennifer Vasquez Sura, filed a protective order against her husband in August 2020. The order said their shared son and stepchildren needed protection from Abrego Garcia, accusing him of verbal and physical abuse against her and mental abuse against her children. Senator Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., who led the charge among Democrats to push for Abrego Garcia's return, released a statement after news of the return broke, saying, "For months the Trump Administration flouted the Supreme Court and our Constitution. Today, they appear to have finally relented to our demands for compliance with court orders and with the due process rights afforded to everyone in the United States."Original article source: President Trump responds to return of alleged gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia to US

Biden's personal doctor summoned as Republicans dig deeper into alleged cognitive decline cover-up
Former President Joe Biden's personal doctor is being subpoenaed to testify amid allegations of a cover-up of his cognitive decline during his term in the White House. Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., the chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Committee, is compelling Dr. Kevin O'Connor to appear for a deposition on June 27. The subpoena is part of the investigation into the cover-up of Biden's cognitive decline and potentially unauthorized issuance of sweeping pardons and other executive actions. Exclusive: Comer Hails Doj's Biden Probe As House Investigation Heats Up "No autopen was used in the signing of this subpoena," Comer wrote on X, referring to Biden's use of an autopen to exercise his presidential responsibilities. Comer recently requested O'Connor to voluntarily appear for a transcribed interview, but the doctor refused, according to the subpoena. Read On The Fox News App Previously, the White House blocked the doctor from appearing for a separate interview to discuss Biden's medical assessments and "involvement in the Biden family's influence peddling racket, but the Biden White House blocked his testimony," a committee news release states. "Among other subjects, the Committee expressed its interest in whether your financial relationship with the Biden family affected your assessment of former President Biden's physical and mental fitness to fulfill his duties as President," the subpoena states. "Given your connections with the Biden family,3 the Committee sought to understand if you contributed to an effort to hide former President Biden's fitness to serve from the American people." Lone Biden Official Breaks Silence On Cognitive Decline As Cabinet Stays Mute Biden's health and mental state were frequent concerns while he was in office, but have been heavily scrutinized following his departure from the White House after his recent prostate cancer diagnoses. He received clean bills of health while serving as president, according to O'Connor's annual reports on the president's state of health. O'Connor has overseen Biden's health since 2009 and built a close relationship with the president and his family, Fox News Digital previously reported. "I have never had a better commander than Joe Biden," O'Connor said in a profile interview with his alma mater, New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, when Biden served as vice president. "All politics aside, he approaches his craft with such honor. He's 100 percent 'family first.' He's 'genuinely genuine.'" He remained out of the spotlight during Biden's tenure until the spring of 2024, when speculation mounted among both conservatives and Democrats that the president's mental acuity was slipping, with pundits and the media subsequently demanding to hear directly from O'Connor on the state of Biden's article source: Biden's personal doctor summoned as Republicans dig deeper into alleged cognitive decline cover-up

Chicago alderman slams mayor's hiring practices as 'giant leap in the wrong direction' amid DOJ probe
A Chicago alderman says the city is taking a "giant leap in the wrong direction" after the Department of Justice announced it is investigating Mayor Brandon Johnson's hiring practices. During a May 18 service at the Apostolic Church of God, Johnson responded to people who claimed he only talked about hiring Black people. "No, what I'm saying is, when you hire our people, we always look out for everybody else. We are the most generous people on the planet," he said. "I'm laying that out because when you ask, 'How do we ensure that our people get a chance to grow their business,' having people in my administration that will look out for the interests of everyone, and everyone means you have to look out for the interests of Black folks." Johnson mentioned top officials who serve in his administration and emphasized their race. One example included his deputy mayor of business and economic development, a Black woman. Doj Launches Investigation Into Blue State City Over Alleged Race-based Hiring After his remarks, Harmeet K. Dhillon, the assistant attorney general for the Department of Justice's Civil Rights Division, notified Johnson his administration is being investigated to see if it utilizes discriminatory hiring practices. Read On The Fox News App "Considering these remarks, I have authorized an investigation to determine whether the City of Chicago is engaged in a pattern or practice of discrimination as set forth above. If these kind of hiring decisions are being made for top-level positions in your administration, then it begs the question whether such decisions are also being made for lower-level positions," Dhillon said. Chicago Alderman Raymond Lopez told Fox News Digital he's glad the DOJ is looking into the Johnson administration's hiring practices, saying he thinks many Chicagoans have the same concern. Chicago's Mayor Johnson Is So Focused On Race He Can't See The Truth About Humanity "I am glad that they are looking into it. I think it validates the concerns that many Chicagoans have had that Brandon Johnson is a mayor, not for the entire city, but for only one demographic," Lopez said. "There are tens of thousands of individuals who work for the city of Chicago who feel as though they have been left out of promotions, left out of advancement or even left out from being hired as a whole even on the front line. And I think that needs to be looked into by the Department of Justice." Lopez said he thinks the city is taking steps in the wrong direction in the way it hires. "This is just one sad step backwards for the City of Chicago to have the mayor articulate so passionately that he prefers to hire one ethnic demographic at the expense of all others. It doesn't make sense to me how, in the 21st century, we've done so much to try to move beyond seeing each other just solely based on race, that we are now taking a giant leap in the wrong direction," he said. The alderman said there are Black Chicago residents he talks to who disagree with Johnson when it comes to hiring decisions. "Let me be 100%, 110% clear on this note. There are African Americans who don't like that statement either. There are many well-qualified leaders of departments who put blood, sweat and tears into lifting up Chicago, who now have been trivialized by his comments and are viewed through a lens of they're just here because they're Black," Lopez added. In comments made after the DOJ launched its investigation, Johnson said it came from a place of fear. "You can tell when someone is fearful is because they act out," Johnson said. "We have a president that is screaming and having tantrums right now because we have an administration that reflects the city of Chicago, but he would much rather have administrations that reflect the country club. Period." Fox News Digital reached out to Johnson for comment.
