Light relief on La Croisette brought to you by TBWA's specialist agencies CANNES, France, June 16, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — This year at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, TBWA — the Disruption Company® — is bringing its ethos to life in the form of boldly flavored treats to beat the heat in A Taste of Disruption. Created by two of TBWA's best in class design and experiential agencies — Design by Disruption® (DxD) and Auditoire — the Riviera-inspired ice cream truck activation is open daily from Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to all pass holders. Providing a space for disruptive flavors, festival attendees are invited to take a break from the pace and chaos of La Croisette and enjoy combinations such as sweet and surprising honey and thyme, refreshingly spicy melon and wasabi, earthly matcha and ginger and tangy berry and timut pepper. 'For us Disruption is so much more than a methodology — it is a mindset, a spirit, a feeling.' said Erin Riley, Global CEO of TBWAWorldwide, who personally served guests to kick off the festivities. 'We wanted to bring that to Cannes in a lighthearted, but totally relevant way. We are quite literally giving the festival a taste of Disruption,' continued Riley. The truck's exterior is wrapped in a summery take on TBWA's signature yellow, with diagonal stripes inspired by the brand's Backslash and the beachfront vibe of the Côte d'Azur. Positioned directly across from the Palais' iconic red carpet, the activation will be one of the week's most savored moments. DeWine announces grants to combat illegal drug activity
Apr. 16—COLUMBUS — Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine this week announced $3 million in funding for 38 local law enforcement agencies to help their drug task forces combat illegal drug activity and enforce the state's drug laws. The Lawrence County Prosecutor's Office was awarded $71,645 of the funds. Grants from the 2025 Ohio Drug Law Enforcement Fund will support drug task forces in their work to prevent drug trafficking, pharmaceutical diversion, and other organized criminal activity associated with the drug trade. "Ohio's drug task forces are a major deterrent to those pushing drugs in our communities," said Governor DeWine. "Their work is indispensable in rooting out traffickers and suppliers, and we are proud to continue offering this support." Since 2019, this program has awarded more than $20 million to drug task forces throughout the state. Funds can be used by agencies to investigate drug trafficking organizations and disrupt the drug supply through intelligence gathering, information sharing, and multi-agency coordination. Grants can also be used to support local work to help drug overdose victims and their families through education, support, and treatment options. The Ohio Drug Law Enforcement Fund is part of the Drug Interdiction, Disruption, and Reduction Plan that is funded through Ohio's operating budget. The grant program is administered by the Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services within the Ohio Department of Public Safety.

Ilmond Expands ‘Intifada' With a Deluxe Release
Ilmond sharpens the 'Intifada' narrative, reinforcing the contemplative, angry and detached tone of the first release. Feb 17, 2025 Five months after its initial release, Ilmond, formerly known as Muhab, drops the deluxe version of his acclaimed album 'Intifada', introducing three new tracks: 'Wesh', 'Kaf' and 'Malek'. These additions offer deeper insight into Muhab's newly adopted persona, further expanding the enigmatic world he crafted for this chapter of his career - what he calls 'Intifada' (Disruption). The deluxe edition not only deepens the sonic landscape but also comes with darker artwork, encapsulating the themes explored in the music. While the original 'Intifada' carried an understated aesthetic, the new tracks embrace more expansive production, marked by complex arrangements and slower, moodier beats. Ilmond sharpens the 'Intifada' narrative, reinforcing the contemplative, angry and detached tone of the first release. More than just an album, 'Intifada' documented a pivotal shift in Ilmond's career - a transformation from the dreamer, the emotionally wrecked kid, into a more self-focused artist, one who now embraces chaos as part of a radical reinvention. The deluxe version further cements this evolution, making it an essential continuation of his disruptive new era.
