Kunal also gave his version of events, describing how being betrayed by someone they thought of as family devastated them emotionally. Even their own family had been kept in the dark about the reality, but as things deteriorated and recovery attempts encountered obstacles, they realised it was time to come clean. 'We trusted someone blindly… and we lost everything,' he stated. According to the actor, the betrayer was a close friend they had known for three years and who also used to often visit their home.
Puja disclosed that they had mortgaged their house to cover the money they ultimately lost because the financial shock was so severe. The family now faces the threat of losing their house because recovery is unclear.
In her most recent vlog, Puja went to the Icchapurti Hanuman temple with her son to find the fortitude to endure the challenging path that lies ahead. She revealed that the same temple had blessed the start of her career and that she had gone to it in faith and hope at her darkest moments.
