CT boat runs aground in Connecticut River; possible minor injuries reported
Twenty-five people were rescued from a vessel that ran aground in the Connecticut River near Eustatia Island around 10 p.m. Saturday night.
The Deep River Fire Department's marine unit responded to the scene across from the Deep River Landing and the Deep River Marina, according to the Deep River Fire Department on social media on Sunday morning.
There were reports of possible minor injuries. Those on board were taken to safety and for medical evaluation by the Deep River EMS at the Deep River landing.
