Evening of food, rail and stars

Lindsay Sinien, 36 (left), and Jurij Boccioli, 35, both of France, board the Stargazer train to Taieri Gorge last night. PHOTO: PETER MCINTOSH Most of us have heard of Stars in Their Eyes, Dancing with the Stars, and RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars. Now there is dining with the stars — and it is happening here in Dunedin. Dunedin Railways has partnered with Tūhura Otago Museum and the Dunedin Astronomical Society to take passengers on two exclusive Stargazer train journeys through the Taieri Gorge, to have a gourmet meal beneath Otago's star-studded sky. Then, if the weather is good, they will be able to disembark at Hindon and explore the cosmos, unhindered by street lights, with the help of seasoned astronomers and state-of-the-art telescopes. If it proved to be too cloudy, Tūhura Otago Museum science communicators would also lead two interactive astronomy activities, which aimed to unlock some of the mysteries of the universe. About 120 people boarded the train at Dunedin Railway Station last night for the first sold-out tour. Lindsay Sinien, of France, said her partner Jurij Boccioli bought tickets for the ride as a surprise. "We love stargazing, so he booked the journey as a romantic surprise for me." Asked if an engagement ring might make a sparkling appearance during the trip, there was nervous laughter all around before Miss Sinien said, "No, not tonight — I don't think". The duo were looking forward to seeing the Milky Way, a distant galaxy, and maybe some of the planets in the solar system. The second Stargazer tour will be held on June 27, and has also sold out.

Nikki Bella vs Liv Morgan, who is RICHER? Both earn more than several male WWE stars

Nikki Bella and Liv Morgan recently clashed on WWE RAW, but beyond the ring, their earnings have sparked just as much buzz, with both women raking in more than many top male superstars. Liv Morgan already has established a decent reputation in WWE, with an estimated net worth of approximately $3 million. Her salary mainly has been through her WWE employment contract, product royalty money, and events appearances and other entertainment projects. It is quite impressive, but it is in comparison quite modest considering the veterans of WWE. Nikki Bella has a net worth of about $10 million which makes her at a very big advantage compared to Liv Morgan. Her financial success does not end in the ring as she is a part of many business endeavors including appearances on media being another source of wealth. Nikki Bella is vastly diversified as opposed to Liv Morgan. Other than her WWE income, she owns a wine company with her husband, Bonita Bonita Wine, has her own clothing brand Birdiebee, does podcasts with her sister Brie Bella and appears in various reality shows such as Total Bellas and Dancing with the Stars. Although Morgan is on the rise, the lion share of her earnings is distributed by the WWE itself. She has not done enough business or entry into mainstream entertainment which does not bring her in as much money as it would to a figure like Nikki Bella. The long career and fanbase such a person as Nikki Bella have brought about long-term endorsements and licensing deals. Her brand or image across and outside WWE has become a source of passive income to her even when she is not performing in the ring at a regular interval. The money difference between Liv Morgan and Nikki Bella does not only cover the wins when the bells of victory with bells on; it is a way of pointing out the disparity in branding, visibility, and an off-ring business acumen. Successful businesswoman and media networker Nikki Bella is one of the wealthiest female superstars of the WWE.

Curtis Pritchard shares marriage plans after split from Ekin-Su Culculoglu

Love Island: All Stars contestant Curtis Pritchard has given an update on his outlook for the future following her abrupt split from his co-star Ekin-Su Culculoglu Curtis Pritchard has revealed all about his romantic status after his shock split from fellow Love Island star Ekin-Su Culculoglu. Reality TV fans watched Curtis, 29, and Ekin-Su, 30, fall for each other earlier this year as they starred on Love Island: All Stars together. After falling for each other in the villa, the couple made it all the way to the final but ended in third place behind runners up Grace Jackson and Luca Bish and winners Casey O'Gorman and Gabby Allen. After leaving the villa in the middle of February and returning to the UK, Curtis and Ekin-Su seemed to be heading for a happy romance. ‌ But the love did not last - and the couple revealed they had decided to call it a day just three months after they were crowned third in the second season of Love Island: All Stars. Now Curtis has shone light on his romantic status - and his hopes for the future. ‌ The reality star, who is a professional on the Irish version of Dancing with the Stars and has been retraining as a boxer since February this year, has revealed he is focusing on his sport for now. He told the Daily Mail:"I mean, as of now, I am single." And when asked if he would be interested in a serious romance, he replied: "You know what I've just come out of, just come off doing Love Island, so I haven't even thought about it. " Boxing is my my thought process at the moment. I am not going to lie, I want kids and I do want to get married. So yeah, I am looking for that if anyone's out there." Ekin-Su announced she had split from Curtis via a blunt social media post that she released at the end of May. She wrote: "I wanted to share that Curtis and I have decided to go our separate ways. "It's been a really tough decision, but one made with a lot of love and respect for one another. He's an incredible person and I'll always cherish the memories we made both in an out of the villa." ‌ She continued: "Thank you all so much for the love and support over the past few months. We're both focusing on navigating this transition and would really appreciate privacy during this time. Love always, EkinSu." Curtis later confirmed the news with a short statement of his own. He wrote at the time: "Just a quick note to say thank you so much for all the kind messages, it really does mean the world. It's true, Ekin and I have decided to go our separate ways. Breakups are never easy, but i'll always be grateful for the laughs, the adventures, and the memories (especially the dance routines)." And he concluded: "I'll be keeping busy with work, boxing, dancing, and working with the team on FINT. Lots of love, Curtis." During his first stint on Love Island back in season five in 2019, Curtis fell into a romance with Irish beauty Maura Higgins - however the relationship collapsed a few months after they left the villa. While Ekin-Su found love with Davide Sanclimenti during season eight of the show in 2022 and the pair even won the show. But the split months later amid rumours of unfaithfulness.
