I swapped my OTT makeup routine for Molly-Mae's and here's what I thought

If you make a purchase via links on this page we will earn commission – learn more You really don't need a suitcase full of makeup to look your best – just ask Molly-Mae Hague. I'm the first to admit I overpack for holidays – especially when it comes to beauty bits. But after watching Molly-Mae's latest TikTok, I'm rethinking everything. Her glowy, golden evening look? Achieved in minutes. And with barely any products. Yes, really. Now, I love a good lie-in (who doesn't?), and when I'm getting ready on holiday – or even just for work – I want to look polished without the faff. So when Molly-Mae shared her speedy glam routine from a dreamy Dubai getaway with Tommy Fury and baby Bambi in tow, I was all ears. She used a mix of MAC, Laura Mercier, but mostly REFY – the brand that's basically magic in minimalist packaging, not to mention formula too. Naturally, I made a beeline for the nearest REFY counter to see if I could recreate the look. Spoiler: I'm obsessed. I've been a fan of REFY's Lash Sculpt since it landed on my desk in 2024, and the Brow Sculpt is a forever fave. But the real stars? The cream-based heroes: Cream Bronzer in Dune and Cream Blush in Malaya. They melted into my skin like butter, giving me that 'I woke up like this' glow – no harsh lines, no cakey finish, just a healthy, radiant vibe. More Trending I was a bit nervous the bronzer might be too much for my porcelain skin, but it gave me just the right warmth. Adding a dab of the Gloss Highlighter in Topaz on my cheeks and nose, and I looked like I'd spent the day basking in golden hour light – much like Mols in Dubai. And the staying power? Impressive. After a full day of commuting, sweating, and sprinting between meetings, my makeup still looked fresh. No touch-ups needed. So, if you're like me – a beauty lover who wants max impact with minimal effort – take a leaf out of Molly-Mae's book. A few clever products really can go a long way. In total, I spent £72, which might sound like a lot , but when you need next to nothing for maximum impact – it's worth every penny. In fact, it actually spurred me on to recycle the other blushers and bronzers I wasn't using. Metro journalists select and curate the products that feature on our site. If you make a purchase via links on this page we will earn commission – learn more Molly-Mae Hague has us hooked on her beauty tutorials, and general day in the life vlogs. However, her latest beauty tutorial has had us in a chokehold. The Maebe founder gave her beauty regime an update during a recent family holiday with Bambi to Dubai, which left her skin looking naturally bronzed, glowy and radiant, yet not too overdone. Turns out the secret to Molly's make-up haul is REFY's new Summer Sculpt Collection – so obviously we need it. Molly shared a video of her make-over on her TikTok account, which seemed to take a mere few minutes – exactly what we need when getting ready in the summer months. She captioned the post: 'The same makeup look for 6 years. Did I achieve a more summery look? @REFY what magic are you putting into your glosses!?' The former Love Island contestant has made it known she is a fan of the Refy Cream Bronzer and Cream Blush for years, which are included in the bundle from Jess Hunt's beauty label that is now on sale. The nine piece collection features Refy's double ended Duo Brush, as well as the Cream Bronzer, Cream Blusher, Lash Sculpt, Brow Sculpt, Gloss Highlighter, as well as two skincare essentials to prepare the skin, which include the Face Sculpt and the Glow and Sculpt Primer. All items are full size, and there is the option to select your own shades intthe blusher, bronzer and lip gloss. BUY NOW FOR £140 (Was £184) REFY's Summer Sculpt collection is a nine-piece edit of skincare products to prep the skin, beauty products, as well as make-up tools for a seamless beauty regime, especially when on the go. Molly can be seen applying the Face Sculpt moisturiser onto her skin, followed by the Glow and Sculpt Primer, which is fitted with a sculpting facial roller that is in essence a gua sha to help reduce any puffiness, and stimulate blood flow. She went on to apply a MAC Cosmetics foundation she has relied on previously with concealer under the eye, before she turned back to her Refy essentials. Molly used the dual end Duo Brush to buff REFY's Cream Bronzer into her cheeks, which she insisted is 'the one product I struggle to live without'. She went on: 'This one goes on so seamlessly, there's no patches. For me, I need make-up I can put on and it very easily looks nice, because I have no idea what I'm doing.' The mogul went on to sweep REFY's Cream Blush in shade Malaya, which is one of her 'absolute favourites', on the apples of her cheeks and nose for a natural and sun-kissed look. Molly continued her regime by adding a touch of Gloss Highlighter to the tops of her cheekbones and the tip of her nose, before she combed Refy's Brow Sculpt through her brows, which she insisted leaves no white residue. Moving on to her eyelashes, Molly swept the Lash Sculpt lengthening mascara through her eyelashes, which she was blown away by. Speaking in the clip, she said: 'It's such a good mascara it literally doesn't miss a single lash. I didn't put on much, but if I layered up they would have gone mental.' More Trending She finished the look with MAC Cosmetics' Whirl lip liner, followed by REFY's Lip Gloss in shade Topaz. REFY's collection features full size products, all of which are fragrance free and have been dermatologically tested so they are suitable for all skin types. The best part is the bundle allows you to select your preferred colours in the Cream Blush, cream Bronzer and Lip Gloss. This Viral Brand's New Launch Is Already Selling Out
When it comes to glow-inducing makeup, REFY is the brand I always come back to. Its cream formulas are genuinely unrivalled - particularly the Cream Bronzer and Cream Blush, which have become permanent fixtures in my beauty routine, even while I test new products. The brand's minimal, skin-first ethos resonates with my own approach to makeup: effortless, polished, and never overdone. The Concealer and Lip Sculpt have also earned staple status in my collection, striking that rare balance between effective and understated. The latest drop from the brand has arrived, and we can safely say these new additions create the ultimate beach make-up, no passport needed. Think naturally flushed, sun-kissed skin, delivered through three new additions to the brand's cult-favourite cream lineup. Two new blush shades - Rust and Plum - have joined the roster, along with a brand-new bronzer shade, Oak, all designed to fill the gaps in the original offering. Co-founder Jess Hunt introduced the shades on Instagram, citing her inspiration behind these fresh summer tones. The new blushes bring the kind of warmth and depth that were previously missing - Plum (a fan-favourite from the Lip Collection) brings a rich berry tone to cheeks, while Rust is the ultimate faux-sunburn hue - minus the UV damage. These tones flatter a wide range of skin tones and channel that effortless summer glow. As for Oak, it's a game-changer. Described by REFY as a medium bronze with a neutral-cool undertone, it sits perfectly between the existing bronzer shades. Personally, I'd been alternating between Dune and Tan, never quite finding my match - until now. Oak gives dimension without looking overly sculpted, and it blends seamlessly into the skin with that signature REFY cream finish. What makes this launch so compelling is that it doesn't reinvent the wheel - it simply completes it. It's everything I love about REFY's best-selling formulas, now in shades that feel tailored for summer and more inclusive than ever. If you're already a fan of the brand's skin-enhancing textures, this trio is bound to become your warm-weather essential. Spoiler: I'm completely sold - and you will be too. 1.
