Canaccord Keeps Buy on Snowflake (SNOW) with $220 Price Target

Snowflake Inc. (NYSE:SNOW) is one of the 10 best growth stocks to buy according to billionaires. On June 9, Canaccord Genuity analyst Kingsley Crane reaffirmed a Buy rating on Snowflake (SNOW) and maintained the price target at $220. In Crane's view, Snowflake continues to strengthen its position by focusing on simplifying data access and making it more broadly usable across enterprises. The platform's architecture, especially its SQL-native interface, has made it easier for organizations to adopt and scale, helping drive up consumption, which remains the core of Snowflake's revenue model. A software engineer at work, surrounded by a wall of computer monitors connected to a 'Data Cloud' platform. The analyst also highlighted the company's product advancements, including Generation 2 Warehouses and Adaptive Compute, which aim to deliver improved performance and efficiency. He also believes that Snowflake's move toward open data standards and its recent acquisition of Crunchy Data suggest a broader strategy to embed itself more deeply within open-source and AI ecosystems. Products like Cortex AI and AISQL, along with the growing Marketplace, underscore its intent to keep pace with rising enterprise demand for AI-powered data tools. Due to these factors, Crane believes that Snowflake is well-positioned as a key long-term beneficiary of the growing demand for AI-driven data platforms among enterprises. Snowflake Inc. (NYSE:SNOW) is a cloud-based data platform that enables organizations to store, analyze, and share data efficiently. Its Data Cloud allows businesses to consolidate data in one secure and reliable place, driving innovation and valuable insights. NYSP on Speed Week: Ride Along with a Trooper

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Speed Week is underway in New York, and State Police are cracking down on those speeding and aggressive drivers. News 8's Adelisa Badzic went on a ride-along with Troopers from Troop E, where they showed her how exactly they operate during this time. NYSP posted on Facebook saying they would be out in both marked and unmarked cars. They add that in 2023 alone, there were 307 fatal crashes that were speed related. Two incidents happened on Wednesday, just hours apart, one where a woman hit three NYSDOT workers. She was charged with reckless endangerment as well as DWAI. Another, where a trooper was trying to get debris out of the roadway, when his patrol car was sideswiped. Trooper Lynnea Crane expressed the importance of this week. 'We got to slow down, we need to pay attention, we can't be distracted while we're driving and heading down the roadway. This is one of those just, please pay attention,' she said. 'We want people to know we're out there. We're out there in numbers. And unfortunately, we don't want to have to enforce a law if we don't have to. Sometimes, just by us driving out and about, you see us, you slow down.' Said Crane. They hope this will 'fly the colors,' meaning if someone sees a patrol car in an area, hopefully the next time around they slow down because of their previous presence. 'The residents that live in these in-between areas, really appreciate it when we come by, they say I still live in the 30 and people are already doing 55 mph flying by my house. There's a reason those speed limits are there.' Crane added. Trooper Ryan McConnon has been with the NYSP for nine years now. 'I've sat here before and the gentleman that owns this house, has come out to me at least two or three times because he appreciates us sitting here to help slow people down.' McConnon said. Speed week in NYS goes until Sunday, June 15th. They will also be looking for distracted or impaired drivers as usual, seatbelt violations and those failing to move over for an emergency or hazard vehicle. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. Tega Cay could be first city in SC to allow golf carts to be driven at night

The City of Tega Cay could be the first city in the state to allow people to ride their golf carts at night. State lawmakers passed House Bill 3292 this past legislative session. It requires golf cart passengers under 12 to wear a safety belt when the golf cart is on public streets and highways. ALSO READ: Tega Cay city council votes to spend additional $35,000 on deer population control It's a big deal for communities like Tega Cay, which are close to passing an ordinance to allow people to drive golf carts at night. 'Being a golf course community and a lake community, a lot of folks just see the benefit of something like a golf cart,' golf cart owner Tyler Crane said. Crane supports the new ordinance that would allow him and others to drive golf carts at night. 'It's really cool to pack up the golf cart, get our kids on the golf cart, and it's just overall fun,' he said. RELATED: Tega Cay community rallying to get friend for Scottish Highland cow Tega Cay's mayor told Channel 9 on Wednesday that there will be some safety requirements and suggestions. 'You have to have headlights, you have to have taillights,' Mayor Chris Gray said. 'I like turn signals on a golf cart; they make a lot of sense. If folks would like to do that, that would help to add another layer of safety.' Driver Bob Knotz does not have a golf cart but doesn't think the change will be an issue. 'I don't have a golf cart, but I do have a car,' Knotz said. 'I don't think it's gonna be a problem because they've got good lighting and seatbelts on. 'Nobody's gonna be around driving crazy already, so I don't think it will be a problem." The ordinance has to pass three readings to become a law. The second reading takes place on Monday. In North Carolina, it's up to each individual town or city to come up with their own golf cart rules. But similar to South Carolina, state guidance says they should only be allowed on roads with speed limits of 35 miles per hour and lower. They also must have working headlights and taillights to operate at night. (WATCH BELOW: South Carolina considers reviving failed $9B nuclear project)
