Debenhams in multi-year deal with Camp Bestival
Online department store Debenhams has signed an exclusive two-year deal to become the first headline partner for this summer's Camp Bestival, held at Lulworth Castle on the Dorset coast. Making its debut at the 30,000 capacity family festival held across 31 July-3 August, Debenhams will host an interactive pop-up 'Planet Debenhams' where immersive experiences 'will bring the store's handpicked fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands to life'. An added extra for festival goers will be the change to 'glitter up' with the stardust and face gems from the Debenhams' 'Cosmic Glam Squad' within the beauty area while the retailer will also host Debenhams will host a kid's mini sports days with themed activities across there three days. Debenhams Group CEO Dan Finley said: 'With Debenhams' broad offering for every member of the family, this partnership presents a natural alignment. The launch of Planet Debenhams marks an exciting opportunity to deepen our connection with customers while delivering a vibrant and memorable experience for festival-goers.' Headlining acts at the festival include Tom Jones, the Sugababes and Basement Jaxx alongside wellbeing programmes and activities with theatre, immersive shows, circus spectacles, arts & crafts, sports and more.
