It all comes down to Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals. Tip-off is at 8:00 PM ET on ABC. RELATED: Resiliant Pacers will not go away, force Game 7 after 108-91 Game 6 win vs. Thunder The Indiana Pacers forced Game 7 with an aggressive 108-91 win on home court on Thursday night. Obi Toppin led the way for Indiana with 20 points, Andrew Nembhard added 17, and Pascal Siakam scored 16 points with a team-high 13 rebounds. Haliburton, playing through a strained calf injury, contributed 14 points. 'We did our job to take care of home court and we've got to be ready to compete in Game 7,' said Haliburton. The Pacers' defense forced 21 Thunder turnovers, including 8 from Gilgeous-Alexander, who finished with 21 points on 7-of-15 shooting. 'It was collective. It wasn't one guy. Nuggets Could Acquire Dalton Knecht In Three-Team Deal With Lakers
Nuggets Could Acquire Dalton Knecht In Three-Team Deal With Lakers originally appeared on Fadeaway World. The Denver Nuggets were eliminated in the Conference Semifinals in seven games for the second straight year, losing to the Oklahoma City Thunder this time around. The Nuggets are expected to make moves this offseason, and Bleacher Report's Greg Swartz has listed Los Angeles Lakers' Dalton Knecht as one of their dream targets. Advertisement "Knecht is the perfect catch-and-shoot option to put on the court next to Jokic, with the Nuggets possibly jumping in as a third team if the Lakers attempt to trade for a new starting center." The Nuggets certainly could do with having a shooter like Knecht. The 24-year-old averaged 9.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, 0.8 steals, and 0.3 blocks per game as a rookie while shooting 37.6% from beyond the arc. Now, that percentage does seem underwhelming, but it was really dragged down by one awful stretch. Knecht shot 15.6% from beyond the arc in December 2024, as he hit the rookie wall. He rebounded well from that and was drilling shots at an excellent clip at the end of the regular season, shooting 42.0% in March and 45.5% in April. Despite Knecht finding his shooting stroke, head coach JJ Redick didn't have him in the rotation in the playoffs. It was clear when the Lakers included him in the Mark Williams trade, which later got rescinded, that they didn't mind parting with him, and his role in the playoffs only made that all the more apparent. Advertisement Knecht's shooting didn't outweigh his struggles on defense for the Lakers, and you'd expect him to be elsewhere at the start of next season. His being included in a trade that lands them a center is the most likely outcome, and the Nuggets might try to get involved in that deal. A big reason the Nuggets lost to the Thunder was their inability to score from beyond the arc. They shot 31.4% from three in the series, with Aaron Gordon (44.1%) being their only reliable shooter. That allowed the Thunder to key in on Nikola Jokic, as most of his teammates failed to make them pay for being left open. Knecht would help in that regard. The big question, though, would be whether the Lakers want to help a contender in the West. They don't necessarily have to include a third team in a deal to land a center and could just decide against doing the Nuggets a favor. Advertisement So, who would they target then? Well, Swartz has Phoenix Suns' Royce O'Neal and Sacramento Kings' Keon Ellis as two other options. O'Neal averaged 9.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game for the Suns in 2024-25 while shooting 40.6% from beyond the arc. Ellis, meanwhile, averaged 8.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.5 steals, and 0.8 blocks per game for the Kings while shooting 43.3% from three. O'Neal and Ellis are pretty good defenders, too, unlike Knecht. Defense was also a bit of a problem for the Nuggets this season, and so, these two would help address two of their concerns. It will be interesting to see what moves they end up making this summer, as the Nuggets are reportedly hesitant to break up their championship core. Jokic was obviously never going to be on the table, but Gordon, Jamal Murray, Michael Porter Jr., and Christian Braun aren't either. Where to watch NBA Finals: Live stream Indiana Pacers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder Game 1
The 2025 NBA Finals have finally arrived, and the Thunder and Pacers will square off in the best-of-seven series. We've compiled everything you need to know about where to watch the NBA Finals, including live streaming options. It's been a thrilling and often surprising month-and-a-half since the 2025 Playoffs tipped off, but it's all been leading up to the NBA Finals. No. 1 seed Oklahoma City Thunder will face off with the No. 4 seed, the Indiana Pacers. Neither team has won a championship title under their current names, although the Thunder was originally known as the Seattle SuperSonics, and the franchise won a chip in 1979. The Thunder more or less sailed through the the first few stages, with the exception of the Conference Semifinals, which went all the way to Game 7 against the Denver Nuggets. It took six games for the Pacers to defeat the Knicks in the Eastern Conference Finals, but they otherwise breezed through the Playoffs. This series won't be available on ESPN Plus, so the cheapest way to live stream the NBA Finals without a free trial will be through Sling TV. Below, we'll break down everything you need to know about that service and recommend other streaming options with free trials. What channel are the NBA Finals on? All NBA Finals games will air on ABC in the US. Game 1 is scheduled to tip off on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. ET, although NBA Countdown coverage will begin at 8. Where to watch NBA Finals in the US As we mentioned above, the absolute cheapest way for US cord-cutters to live stream the NBA Finals without a free trial is through Sling TV, since ESPN Plus won't be carrying the series. Sling costs $46/month, but new customers can get 50% off their first month of service. That means you can watch every game of the NBA Finals (even if the series makes it to Game 7) for $23. Sling is a month-to-month cable alternative, which means that you can cancel at any time. You'll want to sign up for Sling's Orange plan, which carries ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, TNT, and 30 other popular live channels. ESPN3 live streams ABC on NBA games, so you'll be able to watch the Finals here. This is how I personally watched the Game 5 Championship win in 2024, and I've double-checked the Sling TV guide this year to confirm that Game 1 will live stream on ESPN3 tonight. While Sling doesn't have a free trial for new customers, other live TV streaming services that offer a free trial have significantly higher monthly fees, but they also come with even more channel options. Two of the best live TV streaming services that we've tried ourselves are DirecTV and Fubo. DirecTV 's signature Entertainment plan costs $85/month, offers access to 90+ channels, and comes with a five-day free trial for new customers. Fubo 's Pro plan starts at $85/month, comes with at least 150 live channels, and offers a seven-day free trial for new users. Plus, new Fubo users can get $20 knocked off their first month of service. How to watch NBA Finals from anywhere NBA fans traveling outside the US can still keep up with their usual viewing methods with the help of a VPN, or virtual private network. VPNs are easy-to-use cybersecurity tools that enable people to change the virtual location of their devices. This way, they don't need to miss out on any games just because they're away from home. VPNs are popular ways to improve online security and privacy. The services we've highlighted today require US payment methods, so this option will work best for Americans who are just abroad at the moment. Tim Bontemps could be on to something as Al Horford becomes a free agent before the next season begins
Al Horford has been with the Boston Celtics on his second run with the team since 2021. He was one of their top players last season, when the Celtics won the 2024 NBA championship 4-1, beating the Dallas Mavericks. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now And he was right there this season when they had a pretty superb regular season, becoming the 2nd seed in the Eastern Conference. They advanced to the Conference Semifinals before getting eliminated by the New York Knicks. And now Horford is a free agent after his latest run with the Boston Celtics this season, so of course, speculations abound about what his future might hold. ESPN's Tim Bontemps has an inkling of what Al Horford could be doing next Al Horford has said that he has no plans to retire so soon. The 38-year-old NBA All-Star has been with the for four years before his contract expires at the end of the current season. So obviously, a lot of chatter about his immediate future in the league is getting a lot of limelight. Recently, ESPN's Tim Bontemps shared what Horford could be doing now that his tenure at Boston has come to an end. 'Al Horford is a free agent. I don't think at this point it makes a lot of sense for Horford to be back in Boston. Maybe he will be, but given where things are with the Celtics, I think he's now much more in play than he might have been a month ago…Horford is a longtime friend of Karl-Anthony Towns and has played with him with the Dominican National team for a long time.' The New York Knicks recently got eliminated by the Indiana Pacers during the Conference Finals, where they had been a dominant force so far. They had a historic season this time around, and have impressed many with their stats. So this is no doubt a good place for Al Horford to go to if he decides to leave the Celtics. And of course, his connection with Karl-Anthony Towns, the Knicks center, is also there. So this could be a pretty good move for the Dominican athlete. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now But is this what he wants? What are Al Horford's future plans? With his 40th birthday just a day away, Al Horford is looking at a pretty bleak future in terms of his playing career. While he has been a pretty consistent part of the Boston Celtics team so far, his stats have not been what they once used to be, even if he had a pretty positive impact on the team defensively this season. But now that he is a free agent, whether the Celtics re-sign him or let him go is up in the air. A few weeks ago, while talking about Walter Clayton Jr. , Horford said to sports broadcaster John Fanta: 'I know that I'm gonna be playing against him next season in the pros. Maybe he'll be with us." But the uncertainty is on whether he himself is going to stay with the Celtics next season, or the fans will see a change in the playing order. Another thing that could pose an issue is that the have already had to pay the luxury tax penalty this season and could be looking to repeat it the next season if they don't make some major changes. This could also lead to them either trying to let Horford go or trying to sign him with a massive pay cut. Whether he accepts it or not would be up to the player. Also Read:

Indiana Pacers fan lists out why them winning the NBA Championship would be one for the history books
Indiana Pacers reach NBA Finals (via Getty Images) The 2025 NBA season is coming to an end, and the Indiana Pacers have beat quite a few odds and some of the best teams this season to get a spot in the finals. The final run between the Pacers and the Oklahoma City Thunders will start on June 5 at the Paycom Center, and fans are already making assumptions about who will take the trophy home. A Pacers fan recently took to Reddit to list out quite a few reasons, showing how, if they win, it could be a playoff season for the books in NBA history. Indiana Pacers advancing to the NBA Finals has fans talking The Indiana Pacers beat the New York Knicks 4-2 during the Eastern Conference Finals to take their spot in the NBA Finals. They will be up against the Oklahoma City Thunders , who beat the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference Finals, 4-1. Before that, the Pacers crossed off the Cleveland Cavaliers during the Conference Semifinals, 4-1, which was a feat on its own, given the Cavaliers had a 64-18 run during the regular season, compared to the Pacers' 50-32 one. That's 14 more wins for the Cavaliers, but the Pacers have shown their grit and determination during the playoff season, becoming a team everyone was on the lookout for. And now, a Pacers fan has a whole list of reasons showcasing why it could be "one of the greatest playoff runs of all time" if the Indiana Pacers ended up winning the NBA Finals. User @arsenic8787 , who proclaims to be a Pacers fan, posted on the r/nba subreddit about his thoughts on what it could mean for the game if the team ends up defeating the Thunders during the finals. And he is not just saying it because he is emotionally charged with the Pacers making it to the finals after winning the Conference Finals. He has quite a few facts and figures to back him in his assumptions, and fans couldn't help but notice. As mentioned by the fan, "Pacers had the lowest odds to win the finals at the start of the season," and they had a pretty hard time making it to the Playoffs. They were the 4th seed in the Eastern Conference, after the Cavaliers, the Boston Celtics, and the New York Knicks. Indiana Pacers beat multiple odds to make it to the finals It is also true that the team does not have a true superstar scorer or defensive star. Moreover, the Indiana Pacers' best player, Tyrese Haliburton, was voted as the "most overrated" at the start of the playoffs by anonymous NBA players. Fortunately for him, he is showing everyone his worth with every game played. The Pacers haven't been in the NBA finals in the last 25 years, so the fact that they made it to the finals this season against all odds speaks for itself. The chances of them winning against the Thunders are also pretty slim. The Thunders currently have the 6th highest odds to win the finals since 1968, when the Boston Celtics won the finals against the Los Angeles Lakers, in what was their tenth NBA Championship in twelve seasons. But given they "have had multiple 20 point comebacks," this season, it's easy to see why the Pacers fans are so deeply invested this time around. But even if things don't go their way in the finals, the Pacers have already made their fans immensely happy with what they have achieved this season.
