Telangana Gaddar Film Awards: Allu Arjun Receives Best Actor Trophy, Full List Of Winners

Last Updated: Allu Arjun won the best actor award for Pushpa: The Rise at the Telangana Gaddar Film Awards-2024 in Hyderabad. Telugu superstar Allu Arjun was honoured with the Best Actor award for his performance in Pushpa 2: The Rule at the prestigious Telangana Gaddar Film Awards 2024. The glittering ceremony was held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre, where Allu Arjun received the award from Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy also presented the Best Actress award to Nivetha Thomas for her performance in the Telugu film 35: Chinna Katha Kaadu. Director Nag Ashwin was honoured with the Best Director award for his ambitious pan-India project Kalki 2898 AD. The star-studded evening saw the presence of several prominent figures from the Telugu film industry. Among those in attendance were Nandamuri Balakrishna, Vijay Deverakonda, acclaimed directors Sukumar, M. Sukumar, S. S. Rajamouli, as well as celebrated filmmaker Mani Ratnam and actor Suhasini. Together, they presented awards to the winners, which included a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh and a formal citation. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy also took a moment to honour the jury members who played a key role in selecting the best films of 2024. The jury was headed by veteran actress Jayasudha. This marks the first time a dedicated award ceremony for the Telugu film industry has been held since the formation of the separate Telangana state in 2014. The Revanth Reddy-led government revived the Telugu film awards this year in honour of the late revolutionary balladeer Gaddar, who passed away in August 2023. The Telangana government has unveiled the inaugural edition of the State Film Awards, titled the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards, a tribute to the late revolutionary balladeer Gaddar. The winners were announced on Thursday, ahead of the grand ceremony which will take place on June 14 in Hyderabad. Actor Allu Arjun bagged the first Best Actor award for his blockbuster, Pushpa 2. Reflecting on the win, Allu Arjun dedicated his win to the fans, He penned a note on X: 'I am truly honoured to receive the first Best Actor award for #Pushpa2 at the #GaddarTelanganaFilmAwards 2024.
