Wrexham athlete Spencer is UK and Welsh record-breaker
Swansea hosted to the Welsh Junior Championships and three Wrexham AAC members were in action at the event.
Jones won the U13 boys' 1k walk in a time of 4-44.48, which is a new UK and Welsh record.
He also became the Welsh javelin champion for his age group thanks to an effort of 31.58-metres, while he was second in the shot put with 7.88-metres.
Over in the U15 boys' class, Tomasi Fidow was runner-up in the shot put with 10.24m, while he achieved fourth spot in the discus with 21.50m.
Annabelle Jones competed in the U20 women's section, where she was seventh in the javelin (25.19m) and discus (28.46m).
At the Trafford AC grand prix, a personal best of 8-39.17 saw Connor Rogers cross the line fourth in the senior men's 3000-metres.
A trio of Wrexham athletes tackled the Colshaw 10k, in Knutsford, spear-headed by Daniel Weston (44th in 33.44).
Second M55 Darren Rowlands finished 88th in 35.53, while a time of 49.32 saw Beth Hewitt in 535th.
Deestriders were also well represented at the race, led by personal bests from Max Dowell (37.12) and Chris Preston (44.27).
They were followed by Andy Billington (44.30), Paul Lewtey (45.15), Christine Cammillare (46.43), Steph Salusbury (49.54), Justin Evans (52.28) and Jenny Lewtey-Jones (58.19).
Wrexham's Amanda Bailey (78th in 44.40) took the first W50 prize at the Barmouth 10k.
Connor Rogers (46th in 41.57) donned the first Wrexham AAC vest to cross the finishing line and he was followed by Charlie Sinclair (259th in 46.51), Tamara Goode (391st in 58.54) and Mark Hughes (702nd in 72.25).
Deestrider David Temple completed the 10k in a good time of 48.16.
Christine Cammillare (54.48) was the first of a trio of Deestriders at Hotfoot Up Famau. She was followed by Nige Parr (57.35) and Paul Lewtey (58.09).
Wrexham AAC racers made their mark in parkrun action.
James Yarwood clocked 17.19 for second place at Nova Prestatyn, while there was a Wrexham one-two at Erddig.
A time of 18.58 ensured victory for Ally Hughes, ahead of runner-up Daniel Weston (19.11).
Other lofty finishes were achieved by Andy Jones (fifth in 19.38) and Nick Jones (10th in 22.15), while they were joined at the race by clubmates Grace Hughes (36th in 24.43), Evie Hughes (40th in 25.06), Rhys Hatfield (47th in 26.01), Megan Hatfield (52nd in 26.19), Karl Moore (101st in 30.47), Phil Walker (121st in 32.24) and John Tipping (223rd and 61.51).
Wrexham's Andrew Bennett (35th in 24.31), Peter Hughes (57th in 25.53) and Alan Williams (129th in 31.33) tackled the Parkrun in the Past event, while Mike Robbins (20th in 25.17) raced at Wepre.
Charles Ashley (52nd in 28.27) and Alexis Baty (89th in 39.29) raced the Llangollen event.
