Former cricketer and politician Navjot Singh Sidhu has claimed that he played a pivotal role in helping Kapil Sharma secure his big break. In a candid vlog on his YouTube channel, Sidhu shared how he became part of 'The Kapil Sharma Show', revealing that it was Kapil who approached him with a special to Sidhu, the channel had one key condition before giving Kapil his own show: Sidhu had to come on board as a permanent came to me and said, 'Paaji, I have a request. 'People cannot go to Bigg Boss and comeback without spoiling their reputation. However, I took up that challenge because I needed money to build a house in Amritsar. I wouldn't have been able to build a house with what I earned from being a politician,' he said. He added, 'Bigg Boss was an opportunity for me to earn money. They had a very lucrative offer. I told them my charges for the first month, second month and third month. However, they could afford me just for a month. And I was out after the first month. In that one month's time I never said a word against anybody in the house. I managed to return from the house without harming my reputation in the society. This opened many doors for me.' Comedian Kapil Sharma recently delighted fans with the announcement of Navjot Singh Sidhu returning to his show. In his latest vlog, Sidhu described his comeback as a "homecoming" and reminisced about playing a pivotal role in helping Kapil launch his own show 13 years ago. He further mentioned that after the show, Kapil joined Comedy Circus, where, according to Sidhu, 'he was being exploited and lacked an individual identity.' Sidhu also recalled participating in Bigg Boss for just a month to earn money to buy a house in Amritsar. After his eviction, he said the then head of Colors, Raj Nayak, agreed to give Kapil a solo show only if Sidhu joined in. Kapil then created Comedy Nights With Kapil, with Dharmendra as the first guest. The show went on to become a massive success. However, Sidhu revealed that due to politics and conspiracies, he had to step away from it. Big hearts. Full life." Debinna Bonnerjee and Gurmeet tied the knot on February 15, 2011, after dating for some time. They welcomed their first daughter, Lianna, in April 2022. Their second daughter, Divishha, was born in November 2022. They starred together in the 2009 TV serial Ramayan as Sita and Ram, respectively. Debinna and Gurmeet began dating while working on the project. They are set to star in the new reality TV show Pati Patni Aur Panga-Jodiyon ka Reality. Last month, Colors announced the show, revealing it will give a "fun glimpse into the lives of celebrity couples, as they take on entertaining challenges that test their chemistry."
