24 elevated high street suede bags from Dhs299 to shop right now

Quietly luxe and seasonally right, sumptuous suede bags are having a moment on and off the runways. From Bottega's slouchy shoulder styles to Chloé's boho-western revival, Spring/Summer 2025 proved one thing: suede is no longer reserved for your autumn archive. It's tactile, tonal, and surprisingly versatile—especially when softened into softly structured totes, buttery mini bags, and drawstring slings. While designer labels made a strong case for suede's elevated appeal (see Loewe's earthy Puzzle iterations), it's the high street that's translated the look with equal flair and without the four-figure price tag. Massimo Dutti's ruched bag, Zara's sand-toned bucket, and Mango's pared-back crossbody in mocha brown offer that same tactile richness with a minimalist lens. With its plush nap and lived-in feel, suede strikes a balance between Y2k nostalgia and newness, and anchors the quiet luxury aesthetic without the heavy logos. How to wear suede for summer? Offset its texture heaviness with lightweight fabrications – think linen co-ords, crochet dresses, or breezy tunics for the day. Come nighttime, contrast textures: a strappy silk slip or a semi-sheer maxi feels instantly cooler with a buttery suede clutch tucked in the crook of your arm. Colour-wise, lean into summer-friendly tones such as buttermilk, terracotta, clay, or a dusty green. These shades not only wear beautifully under the sun but transition effortlessly into early fall. Whether you're drawn to bohemian touches, clean Scandinavian lines, or a hint of equestrian flair, the high street's suede bag edit delivers. Consider it your soft-power move for the season—and beyond. 8 of the best trending skirt styles to wear instead of a dress this summer

Bored of wearing a summer dress on repeat? A skirt promises to be just as easy and breezy. And, given the number of different styles we spotted on the spring/summer 2025 runways, it is likely to earn you extra style points, too. Sure, opting for a skirt does require thinking about what to wear on your top half. We totally get it's not quite the same throw-on-and-go, 'one and done' solution as a dress. But, sometimes it's worth putting in the extra effort and brain power needed to pull together a full look. That being said, you really can't go wrong with a graphic T-shirt (FYI, it's the new band tee) for a cool, casual look that's easily smartened up with a blazer added on top. We take back what we said, wearing a skirt *IS* an easy outfit option this summer. To make sure you're bang on trend, we've rounded up the best trending skirt styles to know about RN. All that's left to do is for you to choose your fighter and pick whichever shoes or sandals you'll be pairing your selected skirt with. Everyone's favourite Y2K trend shows no sign of slowing down, so if you have yet to get in on the look, consider now the time to try it. Like many of this season's skirt trends, bubble hems come in a few different lengths, meaning there's a style for everyone. You could even tick off two trends in one with a white bubble hem midi. Tap into the naked dressing aesthetic without going starkers by donning a lace skirt. Again, this design comes in a few different length and colour options, but we'd advise sticking to a neutral colour palette of black or white if the skirt's sheerness is already enough of a statement for you. As for how risqué you want your outfit to be, wear with a long top or sports jersey that covers your bottom, or embrace the transparency and wear a pair of big knickers underneath. The easiest trend to try is a simple white midi skirt. You may even have one in your wardrobe from last summer! Whether you opt for a just below the knee number or an ankle-grazing design, tiered or pleated, there are myriad different ways to style yours, depending on if you're heading to work or to a park picnic with friends. Consider this a crucial building block of your summer capsule wardrobe. Bohemian, floor sweeping silhouettes – think cascading tiers, romantic ruffles and just generally floaty, flowy and frilly – are reigning supreme right now thanks to the likes of Chloé and Saint Laurent, where a sense of '70s nostalgia infected the runways. Counteract the look by wearing with an oversized tee (as previously mentioned) or a boxy leather or suede jacket. Miu Miu led the way with preppy pleats parading down the SS25 runway, confirming this school girl favourite is back and all grown up. Whether you prefer a box-pleated mini or a swishy mid-length design in a more narrow knife-pleat, there's no limit to the number of options – from colourways to pleat width – available on the high street to make this look work IRL. Charli XCX is your style muse when it comes to asymmetric skirts, as our Brat queen can regularly be seen rocking high-low hemlines. Whether you go for a subtle dipped hem or a dramatic diagonal situation, make sure to pair it with something simple on top and plenty of attitude. Skirts are going statement! From 3D floral corsage adornments to beaded embellishments and all-over sequins, the brief here is more is more. The best part? You can get in on this look with just about every skirt length. Die-hard mini fans and exclusively midi gals unite! Courtesy of Saint Laurent, Jil Sander and Dries Van Noten's SS25 collections, double-layer skirts are officially a thing. The premise is simple: a second layer peeping out from the bottom of your hemline in either the same or a different fabric. We'll totally be trying to DIY this trend by wearing two skirts together. The key to nailing the look is to make sure the gap between the first and second skirts finishing is a few inches – just enough to clearly differentiate, but not too much it loses its unity and blatantly looks like you threw your shortest mini over your floor-sweeping maxi. The Ultimate Guide To 2025's Hottest Summer Fashion Trends

All linked products are independently selected by our editors. If you purchase any of these products, we may earn a commission. It can be easy to fall into a fashion rut in the spring when April (and May) Showers make it wet and dreary outside — practical rain gear typically takes precedence over chic looks, after all. But that's not the case once summer rears its head. Sure, we'll still have the occasional thunderstorm, but the sunny, warm forecast makes outfit planning much more enjoyable. As such, it's time to recharge your fashion batteries and feel inspired again. Luckily, the runways provided no shortage of summer 2025 trends to try over the next three months — and beyond. And if you can't resist partaking in a viral internet trend, you'll have several aesthetics to pick from this season too. For instance, the fisherman look — striped shirts, boat shoes, and bucket hats à la Nancy Meyers — reigned at shows like Sacai and Miu Miu. Now, the nautical style is gaining momentum off the runway, with indie brands such as Everlane and STAUD releasing beachy ready-to-wear and accessories. Meanwhile, the boho revival is maintaining its grip on the masses this summer, thanks in part to Chloé's creative director, Chemena Kamali, who has championed the look since taking the helm in 2023. The gauzy sheer dresses from the fashion house's latest collection are sure to come out to play this season. From sequins to gingham, green and athletic-leaning styles, there are plenty of new trends that will be hard to unsee (and shop for) once you notice them. Scroll below for a rundown of the summer trends ruling the style scene, as well as corresponding pieces to add to your warm weather rotation. Sequins are no longer reserved for festive holiday parties or lavish nights out. This season, designers encourage you to incorporate sparkly looks into your everyday wardrobe. Prada, for instance, styled a shimmering silver gown underneath a bright yellow raincoat — because why not look fabulous in a storm? Sandy Liang, on the other hand, debuted a mini dress with a silver sequin top and lace sleeves, offering up something unexpected to wear to your next Saturday brunch. It may seem extravagant to dazzle in the daylight, but as shown by these heavy-hitters, there's no reason you can't. Summer 2025 Trend: Boho Babe Chloé Sienna Miller, Kate Moss …you know where we're going with this. These two early aughts fashion icons embody the modern-day blueprint for the free-spirited look. In 2025, the eclectic aesthetic has been reimagined through a luxury lens. On the aforementioned Chloé runway, romantic lace frocks, billowy separates, and long pendant necklaces arrived in droves. Over at Isabel Marant, Glastonbury-ready fringe dresses, tops, and mini skirts effortlessly swished back and forth down the catwalk. You needn't be at a musical festival to dabble in the trend, though; a sultry see-through or dreamy layered look are essentials for an evening out. Designers have spoken: Polka dots are summer's It print. Toeing the line between timeless and trendy, the pattern was out in full force on the runways. At Carolina Herrera, looks were splashed with the pattern in classic black-and-white, appearing in the form of matching sets, crochet dresses, pumps, and more. (Side note: Did you catch Meghann Fahy wearing one of the label's older polka dot gowns in Netflix's new hit series Sirens?) Acne Studios made the case for marrying a form-fitting spotted tee with wide-leg denim jeans or shorts. In the wise words of Hannah Montana: "Pop it, lock it, polka dot it.' Sacai Nautical, fisherman, coastal chic — whatever you like to call the aesthetic, there's no denying it's at the forefront of fashion this summer. The sea-inspired trend began brewing on the spring 2024 catwalks, primarily at Miu Miu (hello, boat shoes), and has now migrated to our social media feeds. In fact, we have a sneaking suspicion that not a day goes by without scrolling past a fashion person showing off their fisherman sandals or seashell jewelry. For a runway styling approach, take cues from Sacai and wear your Breton stripes alongside tailored white trousers. Summer 2025 Trend: Sporty Spice Miu Miu The industry's love for athleisure is unwavering. Case in point: Technical yet elevated outerwear popped up at Miu Miu (by way of blouson jackets) and Rabanne (windbreakers). The shows also ushered in a new crop of luxe sweatpants, such as the roomy drawstring pairs at Tory Burch, which were rolled up and layered atop equally cute one-piece swimsuits. Any way you slice it, chic activewear is coming for your summer wardrobe. Summer 2025 Trend: Green With Envy Gucci Brat summer may be in the rearview mirror, but designers are keeping the green trend alive and well this year. And not just the Nickelodeon slime-esque hue Charli XCX became synonymous with — other shades, such as emerald, pistachio, and olive, got the runway stamp of approval, seen at the likes of Victoria Beckham, Valentino, and Gucci, among many more. Sorry, butter yellow, you have some competition. Summer 2025 Trend: Mad For Plaid Acne Studios You probably reach for your plaid looks ad nauseam during the fall. This year, however, designers want you to pull the classic pieces out a bit earlier. Acne Studios went all in on the pattern, styling a button-down shirt with a bubble skirt in a contrasting plaid print. Kallmeyer debuted a flirty checkered tank top alongside understated black trousers. Consider this the perfect between-seasons trend to tap into when early September rolls around.

Her carousel of free-spirited boho dresses took over our collective minds and social media feeds, inspiring the return of all things boho. But amidst the chiffon and ruffles that Kamali has reintroduced for the modern day Chloé girl, her SS25 collection for the fashion house has also set the agenda for some of summer's most coveted items. Think sheer lace skirts, excellent ballet flats and, perhaps slightly more unexpected: seashell-inspired jewellery. A sparkly take on a nostalgic item, Chloé's seashell earrings have been cropping up in the wardrobes of fashion editors and influencers alike. The ultimate endorsement? Maya Jama wore a pair for her debut on the latest season of Love Island . Taking to Instagram, Jama kicked off her Love Island wardrobe with an archival Versace swimsuit and sarong set finished with statement gilded seashell earrings and a matching cuff. Chloé, Shell Gold-Tone Clip Earrings Fresh off the brand's SS25 runways, these gold-tone earrings are shaped like natural seashells and will transform a simple summer dress into a real statement this season. From surrealist fishbone necklaces at Schiaparelli and statement earrings at Tory Burch, to Zimmermann's elevated take on puka shells, beachy vibes have clearly taken over the style set just in time for summer. But it's not just the luxury designers getting in on the action – seashell jewellery has also been a regular sighting across high street brands. Case in point? Zara's shell necklace that went viral last summer. ©Getty Images/Alentina Frugiuele Naturally perfect for the current heatwave, seashell jewellery will put you in a holiday state of mind, even if you're stuck at the office this summer. This £1,700 cult bag is having a major moment - I've found 7 high street alternatives from £38

The weather is warming up, and fashion influencers and tourists alike are gearing up for another Euro summer. The phrase was originally used to refer to non-Europeans (especially Americans and Australians) heading off on extended trips in the Mediterranean. But, thanks to platforms like Instagram and TikTok, it's now less of a travel term and more of an aspirational aesthetic. Think: morning strolls through cobblestone streets, afternoons sipping Aperol Spritzes on sun loungers and, of course, a carefully-curated wardrobe to match the vibe. Fashion's most coveted item of the season? A crochet bag, preferably designer – and there's a wealthy selection to choose from. There's the £890 Summer Banana Tote from Chloé, the £1,760 Crochet Tote from Prada and don't even get us started on the incredible collection of baskets and raffia bags at Anya Hindmarch. But, the piece that's turning the most heads across southern Europe this summer is the £1,700 Crochet Tote from Miu Miu. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Audrey Peters🍒 (@ The rainbow crochet accessories have become a cult favourite, with personal shoppers at Gab Waller, Threads and The Find Studio hitting sourcing records for the £1,100 Crochet Pouch, which is sold out online. The multicoloured shopper is still available to buy online, but sadly it's a little (read: a lot) more pricey than our budget. Luckily, there are some great alternatives on the high street that offer the colourful crochet look, without the designer price tag. From a blue-and-green shopper at Mango to a pink-and-orange straw clutch at Next and a purple-and-brown carry-all basket at Bimba Y Lola, scroll down for our edit of the seven best affordable Miu Miu alternatives that you can just throw on with a linen shirt, some denim shorts and flip-flops on your summer holiday.
