Hong Kong actress Myolie Wu (胡杏儿) is putting all the divorce rumours to rest. Following much speculation of a rocky marriage, the star shared new photos of the pair to shut the rumours down. Yesterday (19th June 2025, Thursday), Myolie shared a new post on her Instagram account. The post features pictures taken in Dunhuang, China, a city known for its desert. The star wrote in her captions, 'Dunhuang, such a beautiful place. How can I not take more photos? It was a beautiful and unforgettable experience!' However, what caught netizens' attention was that the photos included the star and her husband, businessman Philip Lee (李乘德). In the photos, the couple were hand-in-hand while standing in the vast desert. Philip shared more pictures of the pair's trip on his Instagram account. While many praised the beautiful photos, some quipped that the couple are trying to dispel the divorce allegations. In the past few months, Myolie and her husband have been facing rumours of separation after Philip was caught hugging several women in a club in Hong Kong. Rodent on the run recaptured after two months

ARAVINTHAN A CAPYBARA that escaped a zoo in Jiangsu, China, was recaptured two months later, with zookeepers surprised with its weight gain and sleeker fur, reported China Press. Named Dou Bao, the year-and-a-half old rodent was one of three capybaras which escaped from the Zhuyuwan Zoo on April 3. While the other two were quickly re-captured, Dou Bao remained at large until June 3. Dou Bao was finally re-captured after it walked into a trap that day, with the zoo announcing later that it had placed in its enclosure safely. However, the zookeeper who had looked after Dou Bao was surprised that it had gained weight after being away for two months. 'Looks like it had the time of its life outside!' he said. Congratulations to Malaysian-born actor Hero Tai (戴祖雄) and his wife, Ukrainian-born model Tatiana Lin (戴佳娜)! After announcing their pregnancy, the couple recently revealed the gender of their second child. The actor shared a video from the couple's recent gender reveal party. Back in April, Hero and Tatiana shared the joyous news that they are expecting another baby. The Taiwan-based pair tied the knot in 2023 and welcomed their first child, daughter Karina, that same year. Funnily enough, Oliya seemed to be the most emotional over the news because she was crying profusely. While it was out of joy, Hero couldn't help but poke fun at her reaction, writing in the captions, 'The moment before the fireworks went off, we always thought we'd have a girl, so that's why Tatiana's reaction was over-the-top. But why did my sister-in-law cry so miserably?'. The video sparked many congratulations and joyous comments from fans and netizens. Killer autogate case sparks pet safety debate

ARAVINTHAN A VIDEO of a cat that was crushed to death by an automatic gate has sparked concern, with many calling for owners to install sensors and other safety features, reported Sin Chew Daily. The CCTV footage was shared by an Internet user named Mas Intan and showed a cat named Tofu strolling out of a front porch just as the automatic gate was closing. Before the cat could leave, the gate closed on it, crushing the feline to death. 'The cat had wandered into the house and when the owner closed the auto-gate, Tofu ran out and got trapped by it,' she said. Saying it was not the house owner's fault, Mas Intan said she was saddened by the incident. She advised pet owners to keep closer tabs on their pets and stop them from wandering about. Some netizens suggested that house owners install sensors that will stop such gates from moving once it came close to an object. This will prevent pets and children from being crushed, a netizen wrote. > A student in Thailand who was asked to do 200 squats for submitting his homework late ended up in the hospital for kidney damage, reported China Press. The report stated that a school teacher had ordered the secondary school student to do the squats. In the next four days, the student experienced intense pain in one of his legs. He was rushed to hospital after finding that his urine had turned dark.
