The MSME commissionerate in India's Gujarat recently signed an MoU with Amazon India to help boost e-commerce exports from the state. Both sides will jointly host workshops, offer training and support businesses in the state to launch and grow their exports via Amazon Global Selling. Amazon India will also train members from the MSME commissionerate on the requirements of e-commerce and exports. 'Gujarat's export growth continues to be remarkable - with over 16,500 exporters from the state already selling to global customers through Amazon Global Selling. The partnership will build on this momentum and create new opportunities for businesses across the state,' he wrote. As per the MoU, Amazon India will facilitate setting up an export community—local networks that offer ongoing support and foster collaboration among exporters across India in Gandhinagar. It will also train members from the MSME commissionerate on the requirements of e-commerce and exports, who will, in turn, conduct training for MSMEs across the state. Fibre2Fashion News Desk (DS)
