June 15 - The Colorado Rockies on Sunday placed left-hander Kyle Freeland on the injured list with lower back stiffness, while left-hander Austin Gomber was activated from the 60-day IL and lefty Carson Palmquist was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque. The Rockies also optioned right-hander Zach Agnos to Albuquerque, while right-hander Ryan Feltner was moved to the 60-day injured list with back spasms. Freeland, 32, is 1-8 with a 5.13 ERA in 14 starts this season. In nine seasons with Colorado, he is 61-81 with a 4.52 ERA in 219 appearances (214 starts). Gomber, 31, has not pitched in the major leagues this season because of shoulder soreness. In 156 career appearances (112 starts), he is 35-40 with a 4.86 ERA with the St. Louis Cardinals (2018, 2020) and Rockies. Palmquist, 24, was 0-4 with a 7.77 ERA in five starts for Colorado earlier this season after making his major league debut May 16. Agnos, 24, made his major league debut April 20 and was 0-3 with a 5.48 ERA in 20 relief appearances. Feltner, 28, was 0-2 with a 4.75 ERA in six starts.
