The limited-edition Solstice Pouch, described as "part nostalgic, part unserious," sold out within four to six minutes when it was released June 16 and 17, the brand said. The 15-inch pouch held about 20 ounces of juice, "more than three times a regular pouch," and came with an extra-long yellow straw, according to Capri Sun, which added that the drink would "keep fans cool and quenched all day long." "We know our fans love discovering new twists on our iconic pouch, but the response to our longest pouch ever blew us away," Senior Brand Manager Jessica Barker said in an emailed statement to USA TODAY. "Both drops sold out in just minutes—four and six, to be exact—which is a pretty clear sign that our fans are just as serious about fun as we are." "We created the limited-edition pouches to celebrate the start of summer in a big way, and we're thrilled to see just how much people loved it," she added. Will Capri Sun release Solstice Pouches again? No. The exclusive pouches were only available for a limited time and will not be restocked, according to Barker. "For years, Capri Sun fans have called for a larger serving size to enjoy even more of their childhood favorite drink," the brand said in a news release. "In fact, between 2020 and 2023, a staggering 76 percent of suggestions received by the Capri Sun call center were about fans wanting a bigger product size." Kraft Heinz says it will remove artificial dyes from its U.S. products by the end of 2027
What to know about the effort to get rid of artificial food dyes Kraft Heinz will remove artificial dyes from its products sold in the U.S. by the end of 2027, the company announced Tuesday. The multinational food company also said it will stop making new products that contain these dyes, effective immediately. Kraft Heinz, the manufacturer of foods such as Jell-O, Capri Sun and Kool-Aid, said in an online statement that 10% of its products contain the dyes and that it has invested in removing the colors or replacing them with natural colors. Kraft Heinz replaced artificial dyes in its Kraft Mac & Cheese product in 2016, while some other products, including Heinz Tomato Ketchup, have never had dyes, the company said. Kraft Heinz's announcement comes amid a push from U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to root out artificial dyes from the nation's food supply and instead replace them with natural dyes. "The vast majority of our products use natural or no colors, and we've been on a journey to reduce our use of FD&C (Food, Drug & Cosmetic) colors across the remainder of our portfolio," said Pedro Navio, North America president at Kraft Heinz in the company's statement. Over 200 brands are manufactured by Kraft Heinz, which is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. CBS MoneyWatch reached out to Kraft Heinz to inquire which products in its portfolio still include artificial dyes but did not immediately hear back. The push to end synthetic dyes In April, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the HHS asked the food industry to stop using synthetic food dyes. "For too long, some food producers have been feeding Americans petroleum-based chemicals without their knowledge or consent," Kennedy said at the time. The agencies, however, have stopped short of introducing an all-out ban — something Kennedy floated as part of his "Make America Healthy Again" platform while on the campaign trail. The FDA currently allows 36 food color additives, including eight synthetic dyes. The dyes are used heavily in U.S. products, although certain states, including California and West Virginia, have enacted bans to restrict their use. FDA commissioner Marty Makary said at a news conference in April the agency is working to eliminate synthetic dyes by the end of 2026, although whether that happens will depend on voluntary efforts from the food industry. contributed to this report.

On June 9, 2025, a photograph of U.S. President Donald Trump spread online, claiming he was wearing a catheter under his suit while at an Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) event. The photograph in question showed fighter Kayla Harrison, who had just won the UFC women's bantamweight championship bout, putting her victor's belt around Trump's waist. A number of posts on X, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok made this claim. One post stated: Trump is absolutely wearing a Foley catheter. It's a tube inserted into the bladder to drain urine into a bag strapped to the leg. That line down his pants? Not a crease. It's tubing. Every step he takes sounds like the sloshing of a warm Capri Sun (Instagram user "oldrowofficial") We looked closely at footage of the 78-year-old president walking around at the event, as well as photographs of him alongside Harrison. At this time, we were unable to independently confirm whether he wore a catheter under his suit. Images from the website show a narrow tube connecting to a bag that collects urine. The following YouTube video compiles a range of clips of Trump walking into the UFC arena and interacting with Harrison. At the 32-second mark, Harrison puts her championship belt over his shoulder. We paused at numerous moments in the clip and found there was a noticeable shadow on Trump's leg but no evidence of a bulge as he stood at that angle. It is possible the bulge was visible when Harrison wrapped the belt around Trump's waist, pulling his pants back. However, there is no way to independently verify whether this bulge is from a catheter. We also zoomed in on the image in question and found a similar shadow on Trump's other leg, indicating that the bulge is likely also just a result of the angle of the light.
