Nebraska football hosts 2027 four-star offensive tackle on Wednesday

Class of 2027 four-star offensive tackle Cameron Wagner was back in Lincoln for a visit on Wednesday. He posted about the visit on social media. Wagner is the No. 49 overall player in the 2027 class. He is the fourth overall player in the state of Illinois and the seventh overall player at his position per Rivals rankings. He measures in at six-foot-six, 300 pounds. Advertisement Wagner has been receiving attention from several prominent schools. This includes old Big Ten and SEC schools. Illinois, Iowa, Ohio State, Penn State, and Purdue have all extended him offers. He has visited Nebraska twice, doing so on November 23 and April 12. Currently, the 2027 Nebraska football recruiting class has one commitment in quarterback Trae Taylor. The program has made it a point to get offensive lineman visitors for this class, and Wagner appears to be one of the top targets on their board. This is a recruitment worth watching. Nebraska makes strong impression on 2027 four-star offensive tackle

Nebraska makes strong impression on 2027 four-star offensive tackle Class of 2027 four-star offensive tackle Cameron Wagner was on campus this past weekend. Wagner is the 154th overall player in the 2027 class, the fifth overall player in the state, and the 15th overall player at his position per Rivals rankings. He measures in at 6-foot-6, 300 pounds. Right now, he has nine offers in total. His offers include several Big Ten schools, such as Illinois, Iowa, Ohio State, Penn State, and Purdue. He has had a busy month, visiting Ohio State on March 29 and Penn State on April 5. Wagner seemed impressed by his time in Lincoln, posting on social media Saturday afternoon. Currently, the 2027 Nebraska football recruiting class has zero commitments. However, there seems to be a focus on offensive linemen in this class. Wagner is sturdy both in run and pass-blocking situations, and his versatility could make him a good fit on the offensive line. The Huskers will undoubtedly have competition for Wagner, especially in their own conference. However, they have made offensive linemen a priority in this cycle, and that attention to detail could pay off.
