Lady Gaga Blocks Disturbed Blocked From Returning To No. 1
Disturbed's cover of Simon & Garfunkel's 'The Sound of Silence' may have felt like a surprising choice when it was first released years ago, but it has since gone on to become a career-defining smash for the group. Multiple versions of the tune continue to chart to this day, and the hard rock outfit almost returns to the summit on a list few could have predicted it would ever reach — let alone lead. The rockers are currently held back from ruling the show once more by one of the biggest pop stars of all time. Years after Disturbed's version of 'The Sound of Silence' became a hit, the group released a remix by producer Cyril. That version has also become a smash in its own right, albeit one that reaches different Billboard lists than the hard rock original. The remixed track can still be found on the Dance Digital Song Sales chart, where this frame it steps up from No. 4 to No. 2. Disturbed only misses ruling again by one spot, as 'Abracadabra' by Lady Gaga refuses to budge. That tune has spent 16 of its 19 weeks on the list of the bestselling dance tracks in America in first place. 'Abracadabra' is proving to be a true bestseller in the dance world this year. Last week, the track blocked Tate McRae's 'Just Keep Watching' from debuting at No. 1, and this frame it dips from the runner-up spot to No. 3. Recently, Gaga's Mayhem single also blocked 'Blessings' by Calvin Harris and Clementine Douglas and a remix of Creed's 'One Last Breath' by ATLiens from ruling, as all of those cuts missed the mark by just one space. While Disturbed's 'The Sound of Silence' might be forced to settle for second place at the moment, it has already spent time running the show. The hard rock group has only ever landed one win on the Dance Digital Song Sales chart, and 'The Sound of Silence' has commanded the list for half a dozen frames out of the 71 stints it has spent somewhere on the tally. The Disturbed song currently lives inside the top 10 on two similarly-composed but different-sounding rosters. As it settles into second place on the Dance Digital Song Sales chart, the original cover dips slightly to No. 4 on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales ranking. In just a few weeks, the tune will reach 500 frames as a bestseller on that roster.

Calvin Harris installs 'privacy glass' at his $4.8m Cotswold mansion after realizing bus passengers can see inside
is one of the many celebs relocating to the Cotswolds, England who has found that country life isn't as idyllic as it's cracked up to be. After buying a mansion for $4.8million, flattening it and rebuilding it over five long years, he has discovered that a bus route roars right past – allowing anyone on board to look right into his house. The DJ has had to put in one way glass to preserve his privacy. The reflective glass allows him to see out, but no-one to see in and it was visible for the first time this week as scaffolding was removed from the enormous home. Buses from local coach firm Pulhams Travel thunder past the house on an eight-stop circular route which takes an hour and joins Calvin's new village to the local Gloucestershire market town. The DJ, 41, is set to move into his stunning mansion with his pregnant wife, Countryfile and Radio 1 presenter Vick Hope later this summer. He has also reportedly bought two neighboring homes and is eyeing up a third, bringing his total spend in the area to an estimated $20.2million. Since he sold his song catalogue in 2020 for a reported $102 million he has invested heavily in property. Already the owner of a $16 million mansion in Los Angeles, a $10.1 million London townhouse, and a 138-acre farm in Ibiza, Calvin appears to have found his UK base in the Cotswolds, alongside celebrity neighbors Kate Moss, and Jeremy Clarkson. Ellen DeGeneres also relocated to the Cotswolds late last year but sold her house and moved to another nearby property. The first house had come close to flooding after a deluge and she also found that a width restrictor at the end of her lane was too narrow for her 4x4 to comfortably pass. Meanwhile the Beckhams, who bought their home in the Cotswolds in 2016 had a number of planning issues during their renovations. Earlier this month one of their neighbors objected to the Beckhams plans to renovate a barn, saying 'This is just the latest in a long line of applications to build new structures on this land, plus a giant lake. Why do famous people move out to the country and then clutter up their land with endless buildings and make silly alterations? It makes no sense.' However, permission was granted.

But he recently discovered that a bus route goes past his home, which allows people onboard the bus to see in. Because of this, the iconic DJ has had to take a drastic measure. Calvin has had to install one way glass to preserve his privacy and keep his family life out of the public eye. The reflective glass allows him to see out, but no-one to see in. The Daily Mail reports that the new glass was visible this week as scaffolding was removed from the newly-built abode. He has also reportedly bought two neighbouring homes, as per reports. Calvin and Radio 1 presenter Vick Hope are due to move into the newly-built and adapted home later this summer. Architect Ben Pentreath, a favourite of the royals, designed the property which will be completed this year. A source previously told the paper: "There's no expense spared and it's going to be amazing." Pregnant Vick Hope parties at BBC Radio One's Big Weekend after going on maternity leave The happy couple, who tied the knot on their Ibiza farm in 2023, will become parents later this year, it was recently revealed. And the couple's new home, which Calvin purchased in 2019, looks to be the ideal family home. At the end of May, Vick shared the news of her pregnancy live on Radio 1. On air, she told Jamie Laing: "I should probably also say this is my final week before I go on maternity leave." Former Made In Chelsea star Jamie then told her: "You're an amazing friend, an amazing person, and you're just going to be an amazing mum,." She replied: "Oh, thank you." Vick appeared to celebrate her baby shower a couple of weeks ago as she shared a picture playing a baby shower game - during a meal with friends. Calvin and Vick made their first official outing together at The Chelsea Flower Show in May 2022. After just five months together, a huge sparkler was spotted on Vick's finger. They then got married in September 2023 at Hulne Priory, Alnwick, Northumberland.

Beyonce sparks rumours she plans to move to ENGLAND – as she's spotted touring 58-acre land in helicopter with Jay Z
BEYONCE has sparked suggestions she's upping sticks from her Stateside pad and moving to England. The Halo hitmaker, who recently toured her Cowboy Carter gigs in London, has allegedly been seen viewing land in the Cotswolds countryside with rapper husband Jay-Z, 55. 6 6 6 Beyonce, 43, reportedly took a helicopter ride with her spouse, with whom she shares three kids, to get a better look at the Oxfordshire pile. The land supposedly spanned 58 acres and a source told The Oxford Mail: "In the past week, Beyonce and Jay-Z flew via helicopter between her London gigs to view a 58-acre plot of land. "Located close to friends Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, and with Simon Cowell and the Beckhams as neighbours, she felt it would be an ideal UK home for her family, away from the city when they're in the country." Her chopper is reported to have landed at Enstone Airfield, with the visit squeezed in between her London shows. Sources previously told MailOnline the "land and space" offered in the Cotwolds proved a huge draw and previously said: "The wildfires have given them a good reason to look outside of Los Angeles to build new bases. "They will always be based in LA but the UK is on the agenda. "Beyonce loves the UK because they support everything she does." Music star Calvin Harris is also building a rural compound in the area after snapping up three mansions. — with a combined fortune of £2billion. LONDON LIVING The speculation comes after the Alien Superstar hitmaker quit her £25K a night London hotel suite so fellow US chart star Mariah Carey could move in. The Crazy In Love singer was staying at the Corinthia 's £25,000-a-night penthouses for her Cowboy Carter tour dates at the Tottenham Stadium. Yet when Mariah arrived on Friday, Beyonce packed up and checked into Claridge's for the final few nights of her stay. A source said: 'Superstars as big as Beyonce and Mariah want to stay in only the best hotels. 'Beyonce had been staying in Corinthia's penthouses. 'But when Mariah flew in, Beyonce packed up so Mariah could take over her suites. "It was like Beyonce was bowing down to another music queen.' 6 6
