Surprise Aussie Orlando Bloom sighting amid Katy Perry split rumours
Don't miss out on the headlines from Entertainment. Followed categories will be added to My News. Katy Perry's longtime partner Orlando Bloom has been spotted here in Australia, amid rumours the couple's relationship is on the rocks. Perry is nearing the end of the Australian leg of her Lifetimes tour, with shows in Perth last night and tonight before she finishes her Oz jaunt with four shows in Adelaide. Earlier this month and several shows into the Australian tour, reports surfaced claiming that Perry's nine-year relationship with actor Bloom was all but done. 'It's over,' a source alleged to Page Six. 'They are waiting till her tour is over before they split.' The pair have been engaged since 2019, and welcomed daughter Daisy Dove the following year. But while Bloom wasn't present for the earlier shows of the Australian visit, it appears he's now flown to Perth to join Perry and their daughter on tour. Orlando Bloom takes a walk in Perth yesterday, daughter Daisy on his shoulders. Picture: FAMO / BACKGRID He was snapped walking through the Perth CBD yesterday ahead of Perry's first show in the city, with their daughter on his shoulders. Perry, however, was nowhere to be seen. A source in People made the somewhat unlikely claim that poor sales of Perry's latest album 143 and its accompanying singles were partly to blame for the alleged breakdown of her relationship. Bloom walked the streets with an entourage – but there was no sign of Katy. Picture: FAMO / BACKGRID Perry has been touring Australia since the start of the month. Picture: David Clark 'Katy was deeply frustrated following the reception of her new album,' the outlet quoted a source as saying. 'It made her very stressed. Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension.' Other reports alleged that tensions surfaced between the couple over Perry's controversial all-female space flight back in April. A source alleged to The Sun that Bloom was 'frustrated' and 'disappointed' with his partner's decision to go ahead with the brief joy ride into space. Are a flop album and a five-minute space flight really to blame for this couple's alleged problems? Perry looked to be enjoying herself before Bloom joined her on tour, partying at a gay club night held in her honour last week in Melbourne. Perry cheered on the drag shows and mingled with patrons during the 'Poof Doof' party at Melbourne's Chasers nightclub last week, and even addressed the crowd to make a big announcement. X SUBSCRIBER ONLY 'Because you are my chosen family, a mother must provide for her children,' she told the heaving crowd in the club. 'So as a provider, I would like to open the bar for one hour. The drinks are on me, baby.' Perry and Bloom had earlier split for a year in 2017 before getting back together. The pop star addressed the past break on the podcast Call her Daddy last year, saying, 'We weren't really in it from day one. He was because he had just done a huge time of celibacy, and he had set intentions. I was fresh out of a relationship, and I was like, I can't do this anymore. I need to swim in a different pond, but I had to do a lot real work.' Originally published as Surprise Aussie Orlando Bloom sighting amid Katy Perry split rumours

Ed Sheeran wants to buy George Clooney's Batman costume Bang
Showbiz | Los Angeles Ed Sheeran is planning to splash out thousands to snap up George Clooney's original Batman costume. The 34-year-old singer treats himself to a piece of movie memorabilia every birthday and after previously buying Alicia Silverstone's Batgirl outfit from 1997's 'Batman and Robin', he's hoping to land her co-star's costume from his only outing as the Caped Crusader. Ed said on Alex Cooper's 'Call her Daddy' podcast: 'I'm trying to get the George Clooney Batman costume ... 'I bought the Alicia Silverstone Batwoman [outfit], so it would be matching.(sic)' The 'Azizam' hitmaker - who celebrated his birthday in February - previously splurged a huge amount on a 'Star Wars' replica. He said: 'I bought C-3PO. That was not cheap. I do it every birthday. I just buy one prop a year. 'It's the thing I look forward to. I think all year, 'What am I going to get?'' Ed's lavish estate features a lake, a chapel, and a pub, and a tunnel connecting his private boozer to his main home is where his movie memorabilia is housed. He said: 'In the tunnel, I built a listening room, and there's a cinema - it's less of a man cave and more of a man catacomb ... 'I collect movie props, too, so I've got all of that there. 'I'm a huge 'Hook' fan, so I bought Robin Williams' Pan costume and Julia Roberts' Tinker Bell costume.'

Buttigieg says left won't have its own Joe Rogan: ‘That's not how it works'
Former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said Democrats shouldn't look for their version of podcaster Joe Rogan and instead should find other meaningful ways to connect with voters. The former White House official touted his visions for the future of the party's appeal during a recent appearance on 'The Weekly Show with John Stewart.' 'My party's all up in arms about who's our Joe Rogan. We're not going to have a Joe Rogan of the left. That's not how it works,' he said. Rogan has developed a platform as a conversationalist and influencer through frequent freeform interviews promoted across social platforms. The former UFC commentator has 19.4 million subscribers on YouTube, 19.8 million followers on Instagram and over 15 million on X. Many have credited Rogan for helping President Trump reclaim the White House after his interview with the podcaster reached over 30 million in three days. Former Vice President Harris refused to sit down for an unedited interview with Rogan, instead joining the 'Call her Daddy' podcast to connect with younger voters and discuss abortion rights. Buttigieg said that's the type of energy Democrats need. He suggested the party ramp up its presence in new media spaces to promote platform messaging and policy points. 'The other big thing that my party is terribly behind on is where we say it. And by this I mean what media spaces we are in,' he said. The Biden administration official urged party members to reach people who are 'not always looking for politics.' 'When I think about a generational project of really transforming the country and transforming the country for the better versus transforming the country into whatever it has been plunged into in the last 100 days, that's going to require a deeper level of vision and a greater readiness to walk away ruthlessly from what hasn't worked and to stand up relentlessly for what has worked, even if it's unpopular,' Buttigieg said. ‘Hot Mess' in flux: Miami influencer's podcast was just abruptly dropped by network
Alix Earle's 'Hot Mess' is homeless. The Miami influencer's podcast has been dropped by the Unwell Network, owned by 'Call her Daddy' host Alex Cooper. Sources told Variety that the Gen Z-friendly network, founded by Cooper and her entertainment mogul fiancé Matt Kaplan in August 2023, has renounced all rights to the show. SiriusXM will no longer be selling ads for the confessional style chatfest. 'Join your favorite hot mess as she invites you to listen in on a weekly recap of her life, revealing all the in-depth, exclusive details that has everyone watching,' reads the podcast's description. Earle, 24, is now free to move on without legal ramifications. So what happened? It's not as if Earle, with more than 7 million followers on TikTok alone, doesn't reel in the views. As per Variety, the move may be due to some tension the women have with one another. Rumors of a rift started on Super Bowl Sunday, when Earle bailed on going to a big Unwell party in New Orleans. Eek, the horror. The UM grad has not addressed the headline-making matter and her bio still list her as the host of 'Hot Mess.' The most recent episode centered around her fostering a pitbull Asia with her NFL boyfriend Braxton Berrios; the pooch was just adopted by a forever family, she told her fans on Tuesday.
