5 GTA 6 easter eggs Rockstar can include in GTA 6
(Image via Rockstar) If there's one thing Rockstar always delivers besides chaos and controversy, it's easter eggs. Whether it's Bigfoot in San Andreas or the UFOs in GTA 5, the devs are known for stuffing their worlds with cheeky secrets, spooky nods, and pop culture throwbacks. And with GTA 6 shaping up to be the biggest game in the series yet, you know Rockstar's gonna go wild. Here are 5 easter eggs we absolutely expect to see in GTA 6, either because they're iconic, long overdue, or just so Rockstar-coded it hurts. 1. Another Bigfoot Cameo They teased us with Bigfoot for years, and finally gave us a full-on encounter in GTA 5. But let's be real: Bigfoot's basically family now. With Leonida's swamps and backwoods, the setting is perfect for a creepy cryptid comeback. Expect grainy sightings, spooky shadows, or even a mission that makes you question if Bigfoot's real or just some guy in a ghillie suit. Why Tommy Vercetti Must Return in GTA 6 2. A Tommy Vercetti Tribute Somewhere in Vice City Vice City isn't Vice City without the original legend: Tommy Vercetti. Whether it's a mural, a statue, or an old abandoned mansion full of 80s memorabilia, we're betting Rockstar throws in a tribute to the OG kingpin. They have to. Fans will lose it if there's even a 'Vercetti Enterprises' office somewhere. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Hasta 8 meses de protección Seresto Encuéntralo Undo Bonus points if it's hidden and only accessible during a specific time of day. Classic Rockstar. 3. Aliens Again, But Weirder Aliens have been a GTA staple since forever, indicated by crop circles, crashed UFOs, and even secret government bases. But Leonida's strange mix of wetlands, beaches, and sketchy redneck zones gives Rockstar room to take it further. 4. A GTA 5 Farewell Hidden in the World GTA 5 ran for over a decade. That's longer than some friendships. Rockstar has to give it a send-off. Maybe a broken-down car that looks like Franklin's Buffalo. Or a shrine to 'three legends from Los Santos.' Something emotional, subtle, and 100% Rockstar. You might laugh. You might cry. You'll definitely screenshot it. Why CJ Must Return in GTA 6 5. CJ or Grove Street References ' Ah s **, here we go again*.' You just read that in CJ's voice, didn't you? Grove Street and San Andreas left a cultural dent, and Rockstar knows it. Whether it's graffiti tags, a track on the radio, or some old NPC muttering CJ's iconic line, a San Andreas nod is guaranteed. We'd bet our last in-game dollar on it. GTA 6 is already looking stacked, but let's be honest — the easter eggs are the real cherry on top. Rockstar's gonna flex hard on the nostalgia, the inside jokes, and the WTF moments. And we're 100% here for it. Keep your eyes peeled, because Leonida isn't just packed with crime — it's packed with secrets. Game On Season 1 kicks off with Sakshi Malik's inspiring story. 5 reasons why GTA San Andreas is still one of the most iconic GTA games in 2025
(Image via Rockstar Games) GTA San Andreas isn't just a game. It's a whole era. Dropping in 2004, it gave 2000s kids their first taste of open-world chaos, jetpacks, cheat codes, and lowrider missions with CJ and the Grove Street fam. The soundtrack, the voice acting, the memes; it's all etched into our collective memory. Every time someone says 'Ah sh*t, here we go again,' we're right back in Los Santos. Here's what makes San Andreas the one game we can't let go of. The Vibe Is Unmatched GTA San Andreas wasn't just big — it was massive. Three cities. Planes. Trains. Mountains. Deserts. Gyms. Casinos. You could hit the strip in Las Venturas one moment, and be biking up Mount Chiliad the next. No hand-holding. No microtransactions. Just pure freedom. The kind of chaos Gen Z dreams about when adulting gets too real. Carl "CJ" Johnson The Best Grand Theft Auto Character Ever!? (GTA) CJ = Iconic CJ isn't just a protagonist, he's him. Laid-back but fierce, sarcastic but loyal. Watching him grow from a broke dude to the king of the streets? Legendary. Plus, you could hit the gym, eat too many burgers, or show up shirtless with a mohawk. Total freedom to be your CJ. No other GTA character gives you that much room to mess around and make memes in real time. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Eat 1 Teaspoon Every Night, See What Happens A Week Later! [Video] getfittoday Undo The Modding Scene Is Still Wild Even two decades later, the modding community is going strong. Fans are out here turning San Andreas into a playground of infinite possibilities. Wanna ride a dragon? Add a Tesla? Make CJ look like Travis Scott? It's all possible. Mods have kept this game relevant on YouTube and Twitch, and they keep the nostalgia train rolling for new and old players alike. The Soundtrack Is Elite Before Spotify wrapped, there was K-DST and Radio Los Santos. The music in San Andreas defined the vibe, whether it was 90s hip hop, rock classics, or chill funk. Driving through the desert while 'How I Could Just Kill a Man' plays? Core memory unlocked. 20 Years Later: Why GTA San Andreas Still Feels Like Home It Still Feels Like Home Weirdly enough, San Andreas just… feels cozy. Maybe it's the goofy physics. Maybe it's the sense of freedom. Maybe it's flying a Hydra jet through downtown SF like it's totally normal. Whatever it is, the game doesn't feel old; it feels timeless. Games come and go. Graphics get better. Stories get deeper. But GTA San Andreas hits different. It's that one game you never uninstall. It's chaotic, heartfelt, hilarious, and raw. Whether you're speedrunning, modding, or just messing around with a jetpack, it never gets boring. Game On Season 1 kicks off with Sakshi Malik's inspiring story. Watch Episode 1 here

Resume 100 days' work scheme in state from Aug 1, HC tells centre
1 2 Kolkata: The Calcutta High Court on Wednesday directed Centre to resume the 100 days' work programme in Bengal from Aug 1, saying the scheme could not be "put in cold storage for eternity". The scheme (the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme) has been suspended in Bengal for close to three years. A person who obtained wages illegally or under fictitious names could not go free and had to be dealt with firmly, Chief Justice T S Sivagnanam said. "But what about those who did the work genuinely?" he asked, observing: "A line should be drawn and a cut-off date announced." Centre could impose special conditions, restrictions and regulations to check irregularities and for the recovery of money misappropriated in the past, the division bench of CJ Sivagnanam and Justice Chaitali Chatterjee (Das) said. There should be a "transparent procedure" in place to ensure disbursal of wages and utilisation of funds, the CJ added. Centre had sufficient powers to inquire into the irregularities and take action, as was done in at least four districts, he said. "(But), at this juncture, the court is concerned with the prospective implementation of the scheme," he said, observing that the Centre was empowered to issue "whatever special directives (needed) to plug whatever happened three years ago". The bench directed the state to comply with Centre's directives and said they would be "non-negotiable". State advocate-general Kishore Datta submitted that the centre in 2016 introduced a National Electronic Transfer portal by which wages were directly transferred to beneficiaries' bank accounts. The bench also took note of additional solicitor-general Ashoke Kumar Chakraborty's submission that the state had deposited recoveries in the nodal officer's state account but had not transferred the money to the Consolidated Fund of India as stipulated by law. The division bench fixed the next hearing on any day after Aug 15.

Did CJ's GTA San Andreas story inspire Franklin's character in GTA V?
(Image via Rockstar Games) Franklin Clinton might be the face of GTA V 's future, but let's not forget where that blueprint came from: Carl 'CJ' Johnson in San Andreas . Two guys, two different generations, same struggle: get out of the hood and make it big. If you've ever thought Franklin felt familiar, that's because Rockstar definitely sprinkled some CJ DNA into his story. Here's why we think Franklin's story is a spiritual successor to CJ's in all the best ways. Both Started with Nothing but Ambition CJ returns to Los Santos after his mother's death. Franklin's stuck repo-ing cars for a shady boss. They're both at rock bottom, grinding in the hood, surrounded by friends who don't want more out of life. But unlike the people around them, both CJ and Franklin do want more. More power. More respect. More freedom. They're tired of the small-time life. And that hunger is what sets them apart. GTA V - CJ meets Franklin Part 3 They Both Had Toxic Friends Holding Them Back CJ had Ryder and Big Smoke—two friends who eventually sold him out. Franklin has Lamar—loyal, but always pulling him into dumb chaos. Both CJ and Franklin had to realize that not everyone from the past deserves a seat at the table in the future. Where CJ had to cut ties to survive, Franklin slowly distances himself from Lamar to move up with Michael and the FIB. Same vibe, different decade. Mentorship Changed Their Game CJ had to deal with conflicting influences like his older brother, Sweet (who wanted to stay loyal to the streets) and Big Smoke (who had secret ambitions). Franklin? He finds a mentor in Michael De Santa, a retired bank robber who opens his eyes to 'real money' and bigger jobs. This is where both characters level up. Their mentors showed them how to survive and thrive in a world way bigger than Grove Street or South Los Santos. CJ vs. FRANKLIN | Ultimate Face-Off (Side-by-Side Comparison) From the Hood to the Top CJ ends San Andreas as a millionaire running businesses and owning the streets. Franklin finishes GTA V in a mansion, calling shots and possibly killing Michael or Trevor (depending on your choices). Both characters came from nothing. And both ended up on top—not just through violence, but through smart moves, loyalty to a few, and knowing when to let go. The Legacy Lives On Franklin isn't just a new character—he's a tribute to CJ. Rockstar didn't copy-paste his story, but the inspiration is loud and clear. Same struggle, same drive, and the same dream: to break the cycle and take control. In a way, Franklin is what CJ could've become in a more modern GTA world. And that's why their journeys still hit hard.

'Ah shii, here we go again': CJ teams up with music's biggest names in viral meme
Source: Rockstar Games A recent Complex post swept the internet, merging nostalgic GTA vibes with contemporary celebrity culture. The viral meme presents CJ from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas reimagined in scenes with global music stars such as Billie Eilish, Drake, Travis Scott, Ariana Grande, and Jay-Z. The post jestingly pictures what would happen if Los Santos were governed by Grammy award winners. CJ's latest side quest turns into a celebrity-packed adventure The meme, which reads " Ah shii, here we go again 💰[via: @cjzuero ] " is a combination of GTA's signature low-poly aesthetic with the music world's current most popular stars. CJ, as originally voiced by Young Maylay in the 2004 game GTA: San Andreas, is placed into moments where he's chillin' with artists such as Billie Eilish and Ariana Grande or strolling with Travis Scott and Drake. In one pic, CJ shares a hood moment with Billie and Ariana. In another, he rolls a shopping cart alongside Jay-Z or gets low with Drake like they're old Grove Street homies. The meme comically reimagines each star like they're part of CJ's crazy open-world escapades, giving it the vibe of a trippy GTA side quest filled with music legends. A whimsical mix of gaming history and popular culture This meme is not meant to be taken seriously, it's just another fantastic instance of how internet culture delights in re-mixing familiar symbols. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Trending in in 2025: Local network access control [Click Here] Esseps Learn More Undo "Ah shii, here we go again" is one of the most frequently cited catchphrases in gaming, which gets bandied about online for describing a hassle that's obstinately repetitive or too familiar by half. By placing chart-topping stars into CJ's sphere, the meme plays off how frequently these artists are in the limelight, always dropping something new, trending, or turning up in headlines. Complex, which is known for its fusion of streetwear, hip-hop, and internet trends, just amplified the joke by re-posting it to its huge following. Whether you're a longtime GTA fan or just enjoy a good meme, this viral post hit the sweet spot between nostalgia and pop culture. CJ might've once ruled Grove Street, but according to the internet, he's now rolling deep with music's elite, one 'ah shii' at a time.
