Liam Neeson, Pamela Anderson star in 'The Naked Gun' trailer: Watch here
The trailer for "The Naked Gun" has arrived. Paramount Pictures released the trailer for the highly anticipated film on Monday, which features Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson. See the full trailer here. Liam Neeson is Frank Drebin Jr. in new 'Naked Gun' film: Watch teaser here In the trailer, Neeson introduces himself as Lt. Frank Drebin Jr., who follows in his father's footsteps in the Police Squad. Anderson appears in the trailer, telling Drebin that she thinks someone killed her brother. According to the trailer, Drebin and the rest of the Police Squad members also face a challenge when they're told that the Police Squad is being threatened to shut down if the case isn't solved. Also starring in the film are Paul Walter Hauser, CCH Pounder, Kevin Durand, Cody Rhodes, Liza Koshy, Eddie Yu and Danny Huston. Akiva Schaffer directs. The film is produced by Seth MacFarlane and Erica Huggins. The "Naked Gun" reboot was announced in February 2024. Months later, it was revealed that Anderson and Neeson would be starring in the project. Nielsen starred in the franchise as Lt. Franklin "Frank" Drebin. In the first film, Frank must foil an attempt to assassinate Queen Elizabeth II. In the second film, he discovers that his ex-girlfriend's new beau is involved in a plot to kidnap a scientist, and the final film finds Frank coming out of retirement to help the Police Squad infiltrate a gang of terrorists planning to detonate a bomb at the Oscars. Priscilla Presley also starred in the films as Jane Spencer, and O.J. Simpson starred as Detective Nordberg. "The Naked Gun" arrives in theaters Aug. 1. CCH Pounder is the latest familiar face making plans to visit Cape Fear: The NCIS: New Orleans veteran has joined the cast of Apple TV+'s upcoming adaptation, our sister site Variety reports. Details on her role have not been released. Javier Bardem, Amy Adams and Patrick Wilson are already set to star in the 10-episode series. 'In Cape Fear, a storm is coming for happily married attorneys Anna (Adams) and Tom Bowden (Wilson) when Max Cady (Bardem), a notorious killer from their past, gets out of prison,' according to the official synopsis.
