JoJo Siwa gives major update with Chris Hughes romance and talks wedding plans
JoJo Siwa has revealed that she is open to discussions about marriage after the relationship between her and Chris Hughes was finally confirmed after their CBB exit JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes' romance since leaving the Celebrity Big Brother house has been the main subject of discussion when it comes to reality TV relationships. And while at first they were keen to remain tight-lipped over their budding romance, it seems now the former Dance Moms star, 22, has opened up about the possibility of marriage. Singer JoJo has gushed that things are "going great" with Chris who she describes as her "favourite person in the world." And when grilled on marriage plans, JoJo said she had "so many thoughts" when it came to one day walking down the aisle with Chris. Before joining the Celebrity Big Brother house, JoJo publicly identified as a lesbian and was in a relationship with non-binary dancer Kath Ebbs, but has since revealed she identifies more with calling herself queer. When asked about the unfair scrutiny surrounding her sexuality, JoJo told TMZ:"The thing is, love is a beautiful rainbow and I think that the LGBTQIA+ community needs to remember that love is love and think the hate from within the community is something I've learned a lot from and I think that a lot of people get to grow from and I'm on of those people. "I think that again I can give you an example of love is love, you can be happy..." JoJo flew back to her home in America after spending time with Chris at his pad in the UK, where the couple finally confirmed their relationship. Last week, JoJo sent fans into a spiral after she announced she was postponing her US tour which was due to commence on July 10. The announcement was shared on the website and informed fans that the dates had been postponed and those who had bought tickets were to be refunded. Fans were then questioning if she was planning on a more permanent stay in the UK as the announcement teased that there would be more shows in Europe. This came just days after it was reported the star had been dropped by her record label Columbia. The website now reads: "I've got some news that breaks my heart to share... my US tour has to be postponed. I promise I'll be back before you know it to perform for all the beautiful people in the US!... Announcements will be coming soon, including some Europe shows!:)" It added: "Thank you so much for your understanding and support. I can't wait to see you all soon! To my Dream Guest VIPs, my team will be reaching out to you individually to plan something special. Refunds will be issued at point of purchase." Since being reportedly dropped by her label, JoJo was determined to continue with her music career and released her latest song Bulletproof on her own. According to The Sun, JoJo and Chris have also been in talks with ITV bosses surrounding the possibility of launching their own reality TV show. And things appear to be moving fast as it is being set to air on ITV2 later this year. A source told the publication: "It's still in the early stages but ITV really think they'd be amazing TV with their own show. Fans around the world are obsessed with their relationship and there are so many TikTok accounts devoted to their love story." They added: "Chris and JoJo are keen too, and while there is no deal signed yet, the talks have been really promising."

Why ‘old people smell' happens — and the superfood you can eat to help prevent it
There are few odors more immediately recognizable and absolutely off-putting than 'old people smell.' Eau du elderly is characterized by top notes of mothballs and wet cardboard coupled with basement, expired canned goods and dead leaves. Long thought to be an inevitable, olfactory consequence of aging, a longevity expert explained how the smell develops — and how one superfood can help banish it. 'Old people smell comes from lipid peroxidation on top of the skin. And if you don't have enough antioxidants, that smell builds up, and because we don't get a lot of cellular turnover as we age, it lingers,' Leslie Kenny, founder of Oxford Healthspan and certified Bulletproof coach, told The Post. Kenny likens lipid peroxidation to the body rusting. 'It's a whole body thing,' she explained. 'The smell comes from a compound called 2-nonenal. It's basically sebum that has rusted.' Our skin's natural antioxidant defenses decline with age. This results in increased oxidation of skin lipids and the production of 2-nonenal, a byproduct of the breakdown of omega-7 fatty acids on the skin's surface. Kenny maintains that, unlike body odor, old people smell cannot be disguised or washed away. 'You can't mask it with perfume. The perfume simply layers on top of it, and it gives it a sort of musty smell,' she said. 'You can't get rid of it through bathing more because the cells are not turning over rapidly enough, and the lipid fats are not so easy to break down, so the scent will still be there.' The scent-sible solution to senior stank? 'What you want to do is get rid of it from the inside out.' Kenny explains that nutrition, specifically a diet dense with mushrooms, is key to this inside-out approach to staving off the scent. Mushrooms are packed with the amino acid ergothioneine, a powerful antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties that stops lipid peroxidation before oldie odor can accumulate. Ergothioneine can reportedly make you smell fresh and think straight, as research suggests that diets rich in mushrooms can cut the risk of cognitive impairment in half. Mushrooms are also an excellent source of spermidine, an organic compound that activates autophagy, the regenerative process that removes damaged cell components and recycles them to support cellular renewal. Autophagy plays a critical role in slowing aging, protecting against disease, maintaining metabolic efficiency and mitigating mature muskiness. Kenny notes that while all mushrooms aid and abet smelling more like a spring breeze than a caved-in root cellar, shiitake and oyster shrooms are the best bet for nutrient delivery. According to the expert, the lipid peroxidation that causes old people smell is the stank result of two conspiring conditions: hormonal drops and a lack of cellular turnover. 'As our hormones go down, that smell is more likely to build up, and as we age, we don't get a lot of cellular turnover, so that smell lingers for long term,' she said. With ergothioneine halting lipid peroxidation and spermidine supporting autophagy, Kenny calls mushrooms 'the perfect food to eat to combat this smell.' Kenny told The Post that mushrooms are a preventative and curative medicine. 'As we go through perimenopause and menopause, we want to try to include more ergothioneine-rich foods like mushrooms to prevent the onset of that smell,' she said. 'And if you are older and you want to get rid of the smell, mushrooms are a great choice because, again, they've got the spermidine that's going to help with the faster cell turnover.' In addition to helping us smell more like spring chickens than old crows, mushrooms have been shown to slow cancer progression, lower blood pressure, improve insulin resistance, shield against brain damage and help keep bones healthy. Other research has found a link between eating mushrooms and a lower risk of prostate cancer and breast cancer. The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center notes that mushroom extracts have routinely complemented cancer care in Japan and China because they are rich in vitamin D, which is critical for the immune system.

JoJo Siwa postpones all US tour dates as Chris Hughes romance heats up
JoJo Siwa has blindsided fans by postponing all the dates of her upcoming US tour. The Dance Moms star, who is currently dating Chris Hughes, hinted in a statement that she will be spending the summer in Europe instead. The website detailing her live shows now reads: "I've got some news that breaks my heart to share... my US tour has to be postponed. "I promise I'll be back before you know it to perform for all the beautiful people in the US!... Announcements will be coming soon, including some Europe shows!:) "Thank you so much for your understanding and support. I can't wait to see you all soon! To my Dream Guest VIPs, my team will be reaching out to you individually to plan something special. Refunds will be issued at point of purchase." It's been a whirlwind few weeks for JoJo who was also dropped by her record label. The reality star had been signed to the record company Columbia in 2024, and she released her single Karma and EP Guilty Pleasure with the label. But less than a year later, the US reality star is no longer working with the label with her latest single Bulletproof released independently. However, in better news the star has reportedly bagged her own ITV2 reality show with boyfriend Chris Hughes. The romance between the pair has been going from strength to strength since they met on Celebrity Big Brother. After stunning viewers with their flirty antics in the show, the pair did not wait long to go public. The news unravelled after JoJo's heartbroken partner Kath announced on social media the morning after the afterparty that JoJo had dumped her. Kath was particularly hurt as she'd jetted to meet JoJo and was left alone in London after the snub.

JoJo Siwa 'dropped by record label' as Chris Hughes romance steps up
Celebrity Big Brother star JoJo Siwa has reportedly been dropped by her record label Columbia Records and is now said to be looking for a new place to call home JoJo Siwa has parted ways with her record company Columbia Records according to recent reports. The Dance Moms star, currently linked romantically to her Celebrity Big Brother housemate Chris Hughes, is understood to be seeking a new label. Speculation grew as she independently released her latest single Bulletproof. Previously, she was part of a star-studded roster of talent at the label which includes the likes of Miley Cyrus and Halle. However, a recent check reveals that JoJo's name no longer appears on the official website artist list. This comes after her release of the single Karma and an EP titled Guilty Pleasure with the label last year, reports the Mirror. "JoJo has been dropped by Columbia Records... she self-released her latest song Bulletproof whereas Karma was done with the label. She has been in London on the lookout for a new record company to sign with and playing gigs hoping to impress the right people," a spokesperson shared with the Mail. Regardless of the setback, JoJo's touring schedule remains uninterrupted with US dates continuing later this month, where her new reported boyfriend Chris Hughes expected to be cheering her on from the audience. The pair have been spending a lot of time together, sending fans into a frenzy at their outings, as they appear to be getting closer than ever. JoJo, who recently turned 22, opened up about the close relationship she shares with 32-year-old Chris since they left the reality TV show. During a chat with Capital Breakfast's Jordan North earlier in the week, she expressed her deep affection for Chris. She shared with the host: "You know what's interesting? As hectic as life is, and as much as that noise goes on, I feel like Christopher and I discovered this beautiful house together. "And this house is earthquake proof, and it's fireproof, and bulletproof. And you know, we discovered this house and found the keys, and we took the keys and locked ourselves in, and now it's like... You know what I mean? I feel like that with myself, I feel like that with him." When Jordan enquired if Chris was her "happy place," she enthusiastically confirmed. She continued gushing over the former Love Island star: "Oh my god, absolutely! We're having the best time. He's just the best! "I was saying this to my parents the other day. Like, I'm decently nice; he makes me look like I'm mean! And I'm like known for being nice, that's the thing. People say to me, 'Oh, you're so nice'. "He makes me we want to be nicer, because he's such a nice human. He's the best egg in the batch! I could never get tired of speaking highly of him, he's just the best."
