Samsung confirms Galaxy Buds Core launching soon in India, possibly before Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7

Samsung has all but confirmed the impending launch of its new wireless earphones, the Galaxy Buds Core, in India. The South Korean tech giant's social media teasers, featuring the tagline 'let the music move you to the core,' cleverly hint at the name, which has been circulating in rumours for some time. This once again proves how hard it is to maintain product secrecy in the current era. Support pages for the Galaxy Buds Core recently went live in various markets, including India. The earphones have also been spotted on the Bureau of India Standards (BIS) website, a crucial certification for electronics launched in the country. Samsung has now teased the release on X (formerly Twitter) with a post stating, "Brace yourself! The music is about to hit harder. Feel every note, every drop, every beat – louder, clearer, deeper. Dropping soon!" advertisementThe accompanying product silhouette in the teaser offers a clear look at the Galaxy Buds Core's design. The charging case appears strikingly similar to the existing Galaxy Buds 3, while the earbuds themselves seem to adopt a styling akin to the Galaxy Buds FE, suggesting a stem-less design. This would be a return to Samsung's more compact, utilitarian aesthetic seen in most of its earphones before the recent Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro, which introduced a stem layout. However, earlier rumours had suggested a stem design for the Buds Core, so we'll have to wait and watch on the final form factor. The Galaxy Buds Core are widely expected to succeed the 2023 Galaxy Buds FE, positioning them as a more affordable alternative to the Galaxy Buds 3. It's currently unclear if a separate Galaxy Buds FE 2 will also be released. Speculation suggests the Core earphones will feature a larger battery for improved longevity, along with enhancements in audio quality and active noise cancellation (ANC) capabilities. With Samsung's official announcement, more details, including the exact launch timeline, are expected anytime now. Considering the "FE" history, the launch of the long-rumored Galaxy S25 FE might also be on the horizon. This new announcement also confirms a busy summer for Samsung, with the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, rumored for July 9, set to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and potentially an even more affordable Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. Stay tuned for further updates.

Sky hands out huge freebie Samsung's newest mobile

Retailers are already trumping Samsung's own deal on its newest Galaxy S25 Edge mobile - here's two retailers offering better deals with huge freebies Earlier this week Samsung took shoppers by surprise with its newest mobile, the Galaxy S25 Edge. An model to its existing 2025 S range it is thinner, lighter, and branded as an 'egineering feat' by industry experts. Despite the success from the brand, we've found a retailer trumping its price. Sky Mobile is beating Samsung's price by throwing in a pair of £219 Buds3Pro for shoppers when they buy. All while offering the exact same free storage offer that Samsung has on its site. Sky shoppers can buy the S25 Edge from £40 a month, which will tie them into a 36-month contract, with no upfront cost. And in line with a popular pre-order deal the bigger 512GB S25 Edge can be ordered for the same price as the 256GB one - with data added as an extra fee. This matches Samsung's free storage offer too where the 512GB S25 Edge is on sale for £1,099 opposed to its £1,199 price, although this has since sold out at the Galaxy Store. Making Sky a fit when it comes to stock, not to mention the free Buds3 Pro earphones. Get double storage and free earbuds at Sky £40 Sky Mobile Buy Here Product Description Another retailer on our radar is as it offers the new Galaxy model with the same storage offer and options to get money off with trade-in, depending on the network data plan shoppers pick. Another option for consumers who'd prefer to split the cost over a few years instead of paying the total cost at once. Another retailer is Amazon, which states the Galaxy S25 Edge will be 'released on May 29.' It's also matching Samsung's £1,099 price on the 512GB model - an option to go for now that Samsung has seemingly sold out. Shoppers who buy the Samsung model from Sky will get the £219 accessory for £0, but there is a list of requirements to stick to. Shoppers need to purchase the model between May 13 and May 29 (the date the free storage offer ends, too) to get the buds added to their order. This doesn't appear in shoppers' baskets, but Sky says it will 'automatically appear in order confirmations'. The Buds3 Pro will be shipped out along with shoppers' new S25 Edge handset. For shoppers buying more than one Galaxy S25 Edge, it's worth noting that only one free accessory will be sent out per order. Another thing to mention for Sky shoppers is its contract length, which is long at 36 months. Despite looking like a 24-month contract (in bold letters on the site) this is only the period when customers can swap their device, not when the contract ends - a feature which could catch some shoppers out. Original S25 drops by £200 amid launch Launching at £1,199, the S25 Edge is certainly one of the more expensive models to buy, a lot more than the S25 starting price of £799. Which is why the brand's previous Galaxy S25 could be of more interest. The newest S25 Edge model's only downside (so far) is its smaller battery, which has less oomph than the standard S25 range despite being more expensive. However, it does feature the same speedy processor. For non Android fans there's always the newer Apple model to consider too - the iPhone 16e. Which can be bought at Sky Mobile, Amazon, or O2.

Samsung's Galaxy Watches are getting Google Gemini AI

Samsung has proudly unveiled that Google Gemini is coming to its Galaxy Watches. Activating Gemini will also be "smoother than ever" when you have a pair of Galaxy Buds3 or Buds3 Pro. Gemini on your Galaxy Watch provides hands-free assistance using natural voice commands. You can ask it to do things like remember stuff for you, summarize your incoming emails, and more across multiple apps. With the Galaxy Buds3 and Buds3 Pro, you can use your voice or pinch and hold to activate Gemini on the earbuds and "smoothly interact with your Galaxy smartphone". Samsung unfortunately hasn't revealed a rollout timeline for this, but it's safe to assume it's coming soon. It's not very surprising, since Google is currently working on replacing Google Assistant with Gemini everywhere, and that's just what this will be - where before you had Google Assistant on your smartwatch or earbuds, you'll now get Gemini with its enhanced abilities.
