Ruru Madrid proud of Bianca Umali as 'Sang'gre' premieres: 'Alam ko kung gaano mo 'to pinangarap'
Ruru Madrid is a proud boyfriend to Bianca Umali after 'Sang'gre' premiered on primetime on Monday. On Instagram, the "Lolong" star shared snaps of Bianca in her warrior costume as Terra alongside a heartfelt message for her. ''Encantadia Chronicles: Sanggre' is finally here—at hindi ko mapigilang maging sobrang proud sa mahal ko,' Ruru wrote. 'Alam ko kung gaano mo 'to pinangarap. Gaano karaming sakripisyo, luha, at pagsubok ang dinaanan mo just to get here,' he said, adding that despite everything he saw how Bianca stood like a true leader leading with strength, grace and so much heart," he added. More than just being an amazing actress, Bianca has grown into someone who inspires everyone around her, Ruru said. 'You gave your all—with consistency, passion, and love. Kaya alam kong magiging matagumpay ang proyektong 'to,' he said. He expressed his gratitude to the team behind Sang'gre for their unwavering dedication and perseverance. He also thrilled fans with Terra's arrival in the world of Encantadia, saying that she's about to shake the world to its core. 'Humanda na kayo, dahil yayanigin ni Sanggre Terra ang buong mundo sa kanyang pagdating.' Terra is the daughter of Danaya and the new keeper of the Brilyante ng Lupa. She is among the new generation of Sang'gres, which includes Flammara (Faith Da Silva), the keeper of the Brilyante ng Apoy, Deia (Angel Guardian), the protector of Brilyante ng Hangin and Adamus (Kelvin Miranda), the keeper of Brilyante ng Tubig. Meanwhile, Ruru will also appear in the series reprising his role as Ybrahim. 'Sang'gre' unleashed its pilot episode with the four original sang'gres Pirena (Glaiza De Castro), Amihan (Kylie Padilla), Alena (Gabbi Garcia), and Danaya (Sanya Lopez) riding horses towards Lireo and battling against a giant dragon that looked like a scene straight from the 'House of Dragon.' Shortly after its primetime debut, the 'Encantadia' spinoff topped the Philippine trend list on X (formerly Twitter) with over 30,000 tweets. Faith Da Silva, Angel Guardian, Kelvin Miranda show off their weapons for 'Sang'gre'
The lead cast of "Sang'gre" proudly flaunted each of their weapons! The new generation of sang'gres led by Bianca Umali, Faith Da Silva, Kelvin Miranda, and Angel Guardian guested on Monday's episode of "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda" and demonstrated how to wield their weapons. Angel, who plays the role of Deia, the new keeper of the Brilyante ng Hangin, flexed her fighting skills using the bow and arrow, as well as the pickaxe. "Nag-aarchery po ako before 'Encantadia' pero matagal po akong nahinto. And bumalik ako because of Deia," she said. Kelvin, who takes on the role of Adamus, the new protector of the Brilyante ng Tubig, followed suit and showed his two weapons, a chakram-inspired twin blades and a sword. Faith, portraying Flammara, the new keeper of the Brilyante ng Apoy, also demonstrated her impressive fighting skills, wielding a gun equipped with a blade as well as a sword. Bianca, who plays Terra, the new protector of the Brilyante ng Lupa, previously showed her bo staff which turns into arnis sticks. "Sang'gre" is the spinoff of the hit Kapuso series "Encantadia." The series also features a new set of characters including Rhian Ramos as Mitena, the late Ricky Davao as Governor Emil, Ysabel Ortega as Armea, and Sienna Stevens as the younger counterpart of Rhian. Kelvin Miranda spotted enjoying street food in QC
Kelvin Miranda was spotted at a street food cart in Quezon City on Wednesday! In a video, the Sparkle star could be seen buying squid balls and kikiam, and even taking over in serving street food to kids. He also engaged in cute conversations with the kids, asking them random questions. Kelvin is set to star in 'Sang'gre' as Adamus, the new keeper of the Brilyante ng Tubig. He will be joined by Faith Da Silva, Angel Guardian and Bianca Umali as the new keepers of Brilyante ng Apoy, Hangin and Lupa. The cast of "Sang'gre" also includes Glaiza De Castro, Sanya Lopez, Rocco Nacino, Ruru Madrid, Kylie Padilla, who will reprise their roles from "Encantadia."
