#SHOWBIZ: Singapore actress Pan Lingling's son graduates with first-class honours
SINGAPORE: Mediacorp actress Pan Lingling is a proud mum after her son, Beckham Wee, graduated with first-class honours. In an Instagram post on June 3, the 54-year-old wrote: "The proudest moment in my life. To my firstborn, we see your effort. We know your hard work. We feel your dedication." A series of photos showed Beckham, dressed in his graduation gown, giving his mother a peck on the cheek. The 25-year-old had just graduated from the Singapore University of Technology and Design. Pan, looking glamorous in a full-length green dress, was beaming as she held a balloon that read, "Happy Graduation." Pan's husband, veteran actor Huang Shinan, 64, was pictured resting his chin on his son's shoulder. "Today, we witness your achievements. Son, you are our pride. So proud of you," Pan added in the post. Pan and Huang, who tied the knot in 1997, also have a younger son, Kynaston, 23. Pan has won six Top 10 Most Popular Female Artistes awards. She also secured the Best Actress in a Supporting Role title twice at the Asian Television Awards for Breakout (2010–2011) and A Song To Remember (2011). Fellow stars Christopher Lee, Chen Xiuhuan, Xiang Yun, Aileen Tan, and Huang Biren expressed their joy for the family with numerous congratulatory messages in the comments section.

Rajat Patidar is known for his consistent yet explosive knocks. RCB elected him as the captain for IPL 2025 season and he re-paid the trust by winning them the title. He became first skipper in RCB's history to lift the IPL trophy. Rajat's wedding with Gunjan was supposed to be held on May 9, 2022. The family went ahead and selected a bride from Ratlam and made arrangements for a ceremony at a hotel in Indore. Unexpected events made them change their plans completely. Not being selected in the IPL 2022 mega auction allowed Rajat's family to plan the wedding around cricket matches. Interestingly, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) brought him on board to replace Luvnith Sisodia after his injury. The quick opportunity caused a switch from thinking about the wedding to focusing on cricket. Rajat grasped his chance in the IPL by scoring a century in the playoff match against Lucknow Super Giants. Because of his successful role in Breakout, his marriage was delayed. Manohar Patidar explained later that planned events with the family were rescheduled several times because of his son's duties in cricket. Despite achieving more fame, Rajat Patidar likes to keep his personal life away from the spotlight. Because cricket is the only passion he focuses on, it has made people wonder about his private life and respect his decision to keep it private.
