A Shawano man was indicted on a federal charge of using a minor child to produce child pornography. Here's what to know about the case. Brandon Boogren, 29, of Shawano. Boogren is charged in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin with one count of producing child pornography. According to a criminal complaint: On June 3, the Milwaukee and Green Bay offices of the FBI received a lead from the FBI in Houston about a WhatsApp conversation involving Boogren. The conversation, which occurred on May 16, 2019, involved discussion about Boogren making pornographic videos of a minor. Later in the day, Boogren sent four videos which depicted sexually explicit conduct between him and a girl who was 1½-years-old at the time. In an interview with FBI and police, Boogren admitted that one time in 2019 there was sexually explicit contact between him and the girl in the videos. Boogren is scheduled to appear in court in Green Bay June 24 for a preliminary examination, according to court records. If he is convicted, Boogren faces a mandatory 15 years in prison and up to 30 years in prison, according to a U.S. Department of Justice news release.
