The Boogie Bar stage has been taken over by BBC Radio 1 Dance Stage this year in a brand new location near the main entrance. Sign up for the Entertainment newsletter Sign up 2 There's some exciting new additions 2 TRNSMT is only a few weeks away Credit: Roddy Scott It will host 18 acts to get festival-goers boogieing over the course of the three days, including sets from Jaguar, who presents on Radio 1's Introducing Dance show and Glaswegian DJ La La, joining other top artists from across the UK. Revellers will also be excited to hear The Hangout makes its return, a space exclusively for over 18s to take a break from the buzz of the main stages. Already confirmed are some of the weekend's biggest parties - Bongo's Bingo and Drag-aoke with Miss Lola Fierce - with plenty of live music from buskers, DJ sets and more. The East Entrance is now for Accessible fans only, and all General Admission ticket holders must enter through the West Entrance, with VIP ticket holders arriving through the VIP entrance as they have done in previous years. VIP ticketholders will be able to enjoy the exclusive VIP Garden which hosts barshosts, hosting bars, food outlets, seating, DJs and upgraded toilets. VIP+ tickets are still available which also includes Main Stage front pen access - so you won't miss out on the action. The site map highlights the locations of the stages and VIP area, as well as where all the amazing bars, food vendors, and pop-up activations can be found. This year includes the Rockstar Energy Drink Bar, Pepsi Max, Jägermeister's Jägerplatz, Smirnoff Bar, as well as Three's 'Charge and Vibe' and a second charging station. A festival spokesperson said: 'We're buzzing to share the official TRNSMT site map with fans – it means we're one step closer to gates opening. 'It's the perfect tool to start planning your weekend, from finding your favourite stage to checking out bars, food spots, and all the key information to make the most of your festival experience. "We can't wait to welcome everyone to Glasgow Green very soon!' Fans can buy now and pay later at the checkout via Ticketmaster to spread the cost of their ticket.

47 Glasgow roads to be closed today - see the full list
A total of 47 roads will be closed for the event, with other restrictions in place. The closures commenced at 3pm yesterday and will remain until 4pm today, May 18. During this time, a strict no-waiting and no-loading policy is in place on several roads across the city. READ MORE: New BBC legal drama set in Glasgow to hit screens soon These include Albert Bridge, Anchor Lane, Argyle Street, Buchanan Street, and Candleriggs, among others. A prohibition of driving is also in effect on these roads from 6am to 4pm. This means vehicles are not allowed to drive on these roads during the specified times, with exceptions made for emergency service vehicles and vehicles granted permission from the council's filming and events section. Bus lanes are also suspended from 6am to 4pm today. The affected bus lanes include Argyle Street, eastbound between Hope Street and Union Street, Glassford Street, northbound between Argyle Street and Ingram Street, and North Hanover Street, northbound between George Square and Cathedral Street. These restrictions have been put in place to ensure the safety of both the event participants and other road users. The Race for Life, organised by Cancer Research UK, is a series of fundraising events held across the UK. The event not only raises money for a good cause but also brings the community together in a show of solidarity against cancer. The Glasgow Race for Life is expected to attract thousands of participants, all of whom will be contributing to the fight against cancer. Participants have been urged to arrive in plenty of time and to use public transport where possible due to the road closures. Motorists are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and to seek alternative routes during this period. While the road closures may cause some disruption, they are a necessary measure to ensure the safety of all involved in this important event. The organisers have expressed their gratitude to the public for their understanding and cooperation. Herringbone Herringbone Barnton will officially welcome customers in on Friday, May 16, at 9am with the finishing touches currently being carried out. General Manager Chris Robinson, a Barnton local himself, said: 'We're super excited to finally be opening the doors to our new Herringbone venue and to showcase to the public our warm and welcoming space. Food will be served from 9am daily, with full breakfasts, coffees, breakfast bowls, toasted croissants, avocado on toast, and much more available. New Hill Station The New Hill Station, an Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant, is set to open its doors in Edinburgh on May 15. The owners of The New Hill Station have teased the opening, sharing that they are "can't wait" to welcome in locals for traditional curries, tandoori and fresh naan at 99 Comiston Road in Morningside. Edinburgh Vegan Festival On May 17, the Edinburgh College Granton Campus is holding the Edinburgh Vegan Festival. The 'vegan extravaganza' will boast over 80 stalls including caterers, cakes, dairy and meat alternatives, skincare and beauty, and clothing. Moulin Rouge The hit show has been at the Playhouse since May 10, and is still running until June 14. Tickets are still available for the production, which was branded 'a feast for the eyes' by the Daily Record. They added: "Right from the opening scene there was an explosion of colour and movement and the choreography was utterly insane." Cocktails at Somewhere by Nico Coming to an end on May 11, there's still time to squeeze in a drink at the cocktail festival being held at Somewhere by Nico. The festival will serve up £5 cocktails, including classics and signature specials. Somewhere by Nico's operations Manager Abigail Barr said: "Somewhere has always been about escapism - a place to dine, drink, and discover through food and drink. "We've created an incredible space in Glasgow & Edinburgh, and this Cocktail Festival is our way of inviting the city in to experience it. Whether you're stopping by for after-work drinks, weekend celebrations, or a spontaneous night out, we want Somewhere to be your go-to destination." Bongo's Bingo A unique night out, Bongo's Bingo is being held at Edinburgh's Corn Exchange on May 17 and May 30. Organisers said: "Bongo's Bingo, the award-winning original bingo rave phenomenon, returns. A twist on the traditional game, expect rave intervals, dance-offs, sing-a-longs, big prizes and loads of surprises. Tickets sell out fast, so don't hang around." Disco Days Longing to get back on the dancefloor but can't stay up past 10pm? Problem sorted. Club Tropicana is hosting Disco Days - and you don't even need to find a babysitter. They're being held on May 24 and May 31, from 2.30pm until 7.30pm. Organisers said: "Get ready for Disco Days; clubbing like it used to be! Look out your best gear, dress to impress and remember, it's for over 30s! "No need to worry about babysitters, late night transport or not getting a good night's sleep! Come along for a boogie to all your favourite floorfilling classics from yesteryear, relive your youth and dance the day away!"
